  1. Here's my year in review (games with asterisks are ones I've finished before, in one form or another).
  2. I got nothing interesting, but I guess when you're an adult, it's more about giving presents, anyway. With that in mind, I got an Apple TV for my mom: A Ferrari F40 LEGO set for my dad: A box of Japanese Kit Kat for my brother: And I made a butterfly magnet for my grandmother:
  3. And yet you didn't list it!
  4. Unless you're only planning on playing one of them, I'd start with the first game, as there are some plot connections and returning characters. The story in the first game is very BioWare, while the story in the sequel definitely feels more like something Obsidian would come up with, but they're both fine. Make sure to install the restoration mod for KotOR 2. I have no idea what it adds, but it has to be better than the original ending. I thought KotOR felt like the missing link between Baldur's Gate and Mass Effect, but it's been years since I played it now.
  5. Persona 5 is the only correct answer.
  6. It passed the RedShell test, at least. (By which I mean he didn't like it.)
  7. Thanks for the warning.
  8. I wish Murphy and his co-creators would sit down and actually work out storylines together. It feels like everyone's just doing their own thing. Most things are just forgotten about from week to week, and characters are reset or missing depending on who's writing the episode.
  9. I love me some public shaming.
  10. At least you get to keep your platinum trophy if they release new DLC.
  11. Oh hey, so you did get that Persona 4 Golden platinum.
  12. In typical Ryan Murphy fashion, the Scream Queens finale was super boring.
  13. Now you know how girls feel when they see you approaching.
  14. The Yakuza games don't really play anything like Grand Theft Auto. They're more... free-roaming brawlers with a lot of side quests and minigames and ridiculous but surprisingly good stories? It's the kind of series where you can go to a store to buy some jewelry, beat up some guys, go sing karaoke, beat up some guys, run into some creep in an alleyway who needs your help to win the heart of a girl, beat up some guys, rearrange the furniture in your hostess club, then go off to play the next story sequence, where it's you against ten other guys and you're beating them up with a chair while you're on fire. They're long games, though, so they're not something I'd recommend playing while you're in the middle of another long game.
  15. Well, whatever brings some fire into his life, I guess.
  16. I bet Ellmeister always picks Charmander.
  17. I think it's better this way, because now people can't break them down accidentally. It's not like you'd get anything special, anyway. If you need two screws that badly, just break down a regular weapon? I've mostly been disappointed by the legendary weapons and armor (and since I'm playing on easy, I don't run into that many legendary enemies), but every now and then, you get something that's pretty cool.
  18. I guess since this week's episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was a Christmas episode, that means we won't get any more episodes until after New Year's. Christmas ruined. On a brighter note, I found it amusing when I went back to check something in the pilot episode and realized that in the first scene, they're singing a song that also appears in Fallout 4. So that means that both of the new shows I'm watching this season has featured songs from Fallout 4!
  19. Ten-year-old S.C.G would think you're so cool, though.
  20. I guess your mom's more of a Community fan?
  21. Every time you enter a building in Fallout 4: "HEY I HEARD SOMETHING." "IS SOMEONE THERE." "SHOW YOURSELF." "HUH I MUST BE HEARING THINGS." "BE CAREFUL I THINK HE'S USING A STEALTH BOY."
  22. Great, now my heart is broken all over again. *Sigh* Maybe I'll check out the demo.
  23. I hate how all companions have an issue with my obsessive need to pick up random stuff all the time. "That just looks like junk to me." WELL I'M SORRY PRESTON BUT YOU'RE THE ONE WHO WANTED ME TO REBUILD SETTLEMENTS.
