  1. What I didn't get,was why the doctor was so nice to them, covering their tracks and confirming their cover story to prevent them being in serious trouble. Why?
  2. I got a note saying that someone can manipulate posts, but I thought I was going to be manipulated, so I tried to warn you before the manipulator struck, but I totally manipulisinterpreted. Like, my bad. I'm dumb. Eh, back to the game, the info on Jonnas is my investigation, the other thingy is the note I received.
  3. Tactics were wrong for me and right for him, but it was my team selection that failed me. Not good!
  4. I have a mixed feeling. On paper, I should be alright, but Seahawks seems to have a habit of performing better against teams of strength. My squad is currently performing excellently but my tactics against Seahawks are miff-full. They are floating near the bottom of the league currently, though, and - I suppose is the norm for the middle league - all the other games tomorrow are fairly two-sided. I feel that 3 points tomorrow will mean guarenteed survival (I know it's early to say that), which means I can really ensure next season will do well.
  5. D'oh! I feel like a fool. A PM from The Peeps I misinterpreted. Gee, I got that info during the night, a stranger left it in my office. Effectively, I'm alright. Oh, that was embarassing. Like, I targeted Jonnas last night. I found out his job description. "Enforcer" is what I got. Should help, I think
  6. Was it arsenal league goals that van persie has now, then? I'm sure he'll keep hold of it, but it'd be magical to see Henry get some more to his tally.
  7. Well. It made me cry a little! edit: I don't cry easily, but 10 years on the streets and staying humble? That guy deserves respect.
  8. I THINK THERE MAY BE A PLAYER HERE WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE POST SPECIFIC THINGS. I THINK THERE MAY BE A PLAYER HERE WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE POST SPECIFIC THINGS. I THINK THERE MAY BE A PLAYER HERE WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE POST SPECIFIC THINGS. I THINK THERE MAY BE A PLAYER HERE WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE POST SPECIFIC THINGS. ... @Diageo: Hm? I targeted Jonnas last night. I wasn't redirected or anything*. Is that important? *(I mean I don't think I was, it depends on how Peeps makes these games, and how the redirection powers work, it MIGHT be a possibility, but it's unlikely, yeah) I think vote: I THINK THERE MAY BE A PLAYER HERE WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE POST SPECIFIC THINGS.
  9. @The Bard it's like you and @Daft are ross and chandler trying to quit the gym. You're gonna get daft to come over and 'be there' while you call up to cancel, and you'll both come back to the forum with a whole new subscription. It only slightly disturbs me that I can find comparisons with friends for most situations.
  10. Watching the highlights - I actually applauded the TV when Henry scored. I seriously love it when legendary stuff that is 'supposed' to happen happens. How many more does he need to be Arsenal's #1 scorer again? Weirdest thing is how his accent has already got that Yankee twang...
  11. As part of The Great Purge, I took a bunch of my games to CEX (still got 14 games here) and made £149.80, which I'm fairly chuffed with. They said I could've had £210ish if I did part-exchange, plus there was a lady who came in after me with a stack of dvds who they fobbed off, saying "we're not doing cash purchases today, only part-exchange. I win!
  12. Who was your target, Diageo?
  13. I thought the bit where sherlock went into his 'palace' was a bit cheesy, but perhaps necessary. I also thought that the clues were a bit more tenuous than previous eps, and I thought that the drug angle was rather more obvious than the solution to previous episodes. But I enjoyed it greatly! I'm reminded of the good days of Jonathan Creek... however I thought the BBC's "original british drama" plug before the episode was mildly erronerous, considering Hound of the Baskervilles kinda... exists already. Sherlock Holmes complete works is available free on kindle, so at least I'll be able to read up on it all a bit more. Also - shame it's only one episode left! Madness, P.s. This post should be considered an entry to the Wesleyest Of The Year 2012 award.
  14. Revenge 2 and 3 were also rather coldly served :P

  22. My boys were on fire! Guess they knew it was my b'day :P Just about every result (aside from mcoy's) went the opposite way to that which I would've expected, here in the middle league. Fantastic! C'mon hurricanes, what're you guys playing at? :P
  23. Cheers errybody! Got meself £60 worth of kindle vouchers, megachooofed. Waiting for a good x11 result (@Happenstance you better have read the script for my birthday) then I'm off to collect goodbyes and farewells, and in a rather upsidedown twist I must try and not get too drunk tonight as I have work tomorrow :'( My sister sent me a link to this vid too; Very optimistic and upbeat, I must say.
