    Essentially; the word Jock doesn't apply exclusively to any group, and you obviously knew what I was on about when I used it in the sense that I did, so let's all shufup and move on with our lives. (Oh and Nightwolf; If I stay in sheffield I'd currently have to live with a guy who I actually find quite annoying, but I'd be around the corner from Dan, Shorty and nami -- I pretty much change my mind about what to do with my life every day. And less than a month to sort it! Whatevs.)

    Actually I think it's just easier for people to find similar people thanks to the internet, and thus feel socially acceptable more easily than previously. Jocks still think geeks are uncool, geeks still think jocks are idiots. In fact, I don't care. I can't argue about anything anymore. Too many circumstances, too much subjectivity.

    Actually I live with a bunch of jocks and I can confirm that geeks are still uncool, and it is all about how much pussy one can aquire/invade. But I can live with that. Because there is no choice. Anyway, I'm having an angry, self-abusive day of witlessness and lost words. Etc.

    I've always liked these mythbuster things, like the ones for MW2 and Halo -- The GT ones are well presented and put together, but the other two go through a lot more myths per episode. Still enjoyable, and with the GT ones they'll not be limited to one game, genre or console.

    Mate, BSG is great - ignore what anyone says about how any show ends, because when you're faced with four seasons full of episodes that no other show cannot compare to... who cares how one episode at the end fares? You'll love every other episode. My advice would be to get the first double-episode thing and just see how you feel about it. I'm not a scifi fan and it really doesn't matter. It's one of the best tv series ever made, so don't miss out. Beats chuck s01-02 if you ask me. Getting round to the third season shortly. I'll move these non-topic posts now.

    Dannyboy; sounds pretty awkward. What makes you think she's developing feelings this time? Are you sure it's not just you projecting how you feel upon what she does? My day; made the best meal I've cooked so far. Did some rice, fried in mustard seeds with onions and garlic, then chicken-stocked with some parsley and lemon. Coupled with a perfect prawn curry made from my own paste... It tasted like something you'd get for an M&S microwave meal. That's a good thing, I assure you! Talking of projecting feelings; I am leaning towards staying in sheffield again, however! My ex- is, essentially, the girl I want to be with, so long as she basically fattens up a bit and stops dying slowly through this anorexia stuff. The libido side of me has been piqued by two girls from brighton showing an interest - one a girl I've had a crush on for about 7 years who recently has been talking to me a lot, and has asked me to consider getting a place with her in brighton. She's not explicitly said anything to do with feelings to me, but I've known her for ages, and each time she's between boyfriends we hit it off and get a little close, and after our conversation I noticed she's single again on facebook. She's a homely girl who, frankly, isn't aware of how attractive she is, therefore 'in my league' :P Also another girl I hooked up with is coming back from australia soon, and each time we speak she can't help but say "I want to see you again, and i want sex, and I'm sorry I annoyed you by using all these words and not just sexing you." She's also totally crazy. But in a way, these two girls are just ammo for fantasy life. Reality = I am to be single for a long time, and eventually 'settle' with the ex-, even though I actually really, really deeply care for her and would love to spend my life with her, she's just a bit too fucked up and it's hard to really know what it is I want to do with my life and hard to really succinctly describe the 'dilemma' I am in. Running away to another city/country altogether is the dark horse in the race to decide what I do with my life. Just give up and start again. MELODRAMAA! ... For now, I'll go back to watching Flight of the Conchords and catching up on HIMYM until someone tells me to do something. Oh and I found out that costcutters near my old flat now closes at 1, instead of 2. 20 minute walk for the lose.

    2-0 win over Eddage, who was keeping the league top-spot warm for me. 5 players in the x11, and eddage's keeper, whom my boys scored two against, still managed to claim keeper's spot. My poor donovan packham is not pleased. I put out nearly my strongest side, so I need to let go of this title chase and switch on dev training for the remainder of the season. After the game against Eights, of course!

    I took about 30-50 books with me when I first left for uni, and now I have over 200 accumulated. I'd advise you take books you want other people to read, or a select few of your favourites that you feel reflect your character. You'll meet people and they'll peruse your shelf and offer to lend you any book you ought to read.

    Yesterday was awesome! - Got a taxi to the park, didn't know where anyone was, phone's been shit and not texting/calling people, but I luckily bumped into a mate walking down the road. Slapped on the suncream, sat around, drank, played football, juggled a bit, played chess, trod on a BBQ (ow), wrestled two of my mates separately/them vs. me (unfair) and did lots of winning (for winners) and impressing the ladies with my surprising flexibility/pwnage... I assume, anyway. Several hours later = Spar for baguette, pork pie and chicken slice (fatty), over to a mates to drop stuff off. 4 friends leave straight away to get to the house party, I stay with one dude, play some COD, his girlie arrives (one of those model types, except she actually is a model) who always seems to be far too friendly with me considering I've only met her two/three/four times. Probably because we're both ginger. Got a taxi home, along with over 4 litres of cider I claimed from the party (winning is for winners) and played some COD for a bit, then some prototype through unopened eyes of drunkness. Eventually went to bed around 5am, and up at 11am. Probably still drunk? Today I shall... order take-away for lunch, play computer games, cook a nice... food thing for dinner! Party was at the house where I may potentially live next year (nether edge GUYS!!) and was a 'new flat' and weirdly shaped but clean. Suicide-proof windows, so fucking hot. Spent most of the time outside (two flights of stairs) with my BENSON AND HEDGES rolling tobacco. Much wattafuh?! was had with that. Party boiled down to me and three people - the host, a sleeping frenchman and a guy who was giving out correct answers to any long multiplication I offered (9 x 14? 234 x 122? 2364 x 2324?!?!?! Last one may be a lie) and generally freaked me out a little with his obv. autism. Oh yeah and generally woken up with a really fucking painful knee and bruises everywhere, so I've paid for the fun. Time to get fat and watch Bones!
