  1. Awww yeah, just got 1000 G on this beast :awesome: I know that some of the achievements weren't the hardest to get, especailyl if you play the games formulaically but damn it was fun, there were even one or two games on this collection that I hadn't played / played properly before so it was a well worthwhile experience. I saved the unlock Phantasy Star by defeating the first boss in Sonic 2 with both characters till last, borrowed my bro's profile had two controllers (both on each leg) alternately jumped on the boss to score two hits each time and to finish off had Sonic and Tails jump from alternate sides of the big capsule at the end and land simultaneously in the middle. ^^
  2. I think thats the case yes, I was gonna get the RB2 instruments package but I'm actually leaning towards now bothering with the Guitar and Mic and as for the drums, going for the Ion drum kit instead, sure it's more expensive but it certainly looks built to last and would ensure that you wouldn't need to buy another drum kits for the RB games ever again as it's upgradeable too.
  3. I like Snow Patrol, Set The Fire to the Third Bar is easily one of the best tracks on Eyes Open, I still like that album and One Hundred Million Suns, people complain about their change in direction but I really don't care, old or new Snow Patrol are good, a lot of bands change direction by their third album or w/e anyway so I really don't see that is matters, I just enjoy what I can from each album of the bands that I really like, simple. Also thanks for that Video Paj, it's been a while since I've listened to that track but it's always nice to be reminded of how lovely it is. ^^
  4. Pretty shit but then it was even before this economic crisis, pretty depressing tbh when all you hear is credit crunch this 'n that, I hear it so often that I've given up caring about it. :/ [/apathy]
  5. Jeff because I've heard that Kinks song so many times that I dislike it, Hallelujah on the other hand, sure thay played it to death over the Christmas period but it's still a lot less played than the Kinks track, plus it's an excellent version but I'm not gonna get into that stupid debate about which version of the damn song is the best again.
  6. Space Tumor http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/485070 Simple but brilliant.
  7. They are another band I would like to see live, been listening to their albums a lot recently, quality stuff.
  8. So far I've seen... Sons and Daughters >> The Guillemots KT Tunstall All at Eden, S&D were just a warm up band, nothing amazing, but The Guillemots and KT were pretty damn awesome. Bands I hope to see live... Muse They have played at Eden before and I missed them :/ so with a new album coming up I am hoping they will play there again, they are supposedly touring in October so anyways as soon as they are (hopefully) announced for Eden again, I'm there. ^^
  9. Agreed but BHAR is far from terrible but each to their own, the earlier Muse albums are definitely the most interesting out of them though, but I can still find something to love about each album, the thing posted about their latest album in production sounding similar to Origin of Symmetry is promising, even if they probably won't match it, but I would love to be proved wrong. Either way I still can't wait for it.
  10. Muse are awesome and they are easily one of my favourite bands, thats not to say I'd go as far as to dismiss all other music in favour of them though, that'd be just plain lunacy :P but I do find myself continually coming back to them. Personally theres something to like about each of their albums for me, both their old and new stuff is decent but in different ways, If I had to put their albums in order it'd probably go something like this... Origin of Symmetry Absolution Black Holes and Revelations Showbiz Hullabaloo Quite honestly though it doesn't matter as each album has it's own set of quality tracks, I'm hoping that their upcoming album will be right up there somewhere inbetween Origin of Symmetry and Black Holes and Revelations and by the sounds of things it's shaping up nicely.
  11. Lemon Jelly for reasons allready stated above by Dyson.
  12. *cough* meanwhile back on the topic of all things cake related, I decided to have a go... It was nice, 85% spongey on the outside and 15% crunchy on the inside >> I believe this was due to the cooking time, the three minutes stated is much longer than is required and from cooking this first cake I would recommend two minutes 15 seconds on 900 watts, oh and next time I'm gonna grease up the mug first or line it with grease-proof paper because the cake stuck to the cup like a tongue to an ice-cube lol Other than that though I was reasonably pleased with it and I'd rate it as far as cakes go a 7/10
  13. Glad I could help Adam the only other thing I was gonna do would be to put some black straight lines in the middle of each letter of the logo to make it slightly clearer but overall I think that the messy look works quite well.
  14. Get... Rock Band : Band in a box Rock Band - the first game, cheap on it's own Rock Band 2 - the second game for w/e price Guitar Hero : World Tour (solus) Guitar Hero : Metallica (solus) when it comes out Load up Rock Band, let it update and shizzle, do the transfer song license thing, load up Rock Band 2 and enjoy all the songs from the RB1 disc on RB2. Instruments for RB are generally better, the drums are anyway, the only weak aspect of the RB Guitar is the whammy bar, they can still take some punishment but my brother somehow managed to sort of break the whammy bar on the RB one >> GH Guitar whammy bar feels more solid, microhones... they are both USB mic's no better or worse than each other. Also if you can wait, the RB2 instruments will be better than RB1, DLC is better on RB but GH has all the Metallica tracks, so as I suggested, get both games if you can. Oh and unrelated but, still interested in that Megadrive II? And thats pretty much all there is to know. : peace:
  15. It's this awesome... In all seriousness though your comic is off to an awesome start and the contribution towards N-europe that you are providing is most appreciated and is sure to make a lot of people happy, your first comic made me smile, keep up the good work. : peace:
  16. Something like this? I would have done more but I'm far too lazy... btw it's meant to look rushed and messy, that way it's in keeping with the context.
  17. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the collection is worth it for Phantasy Star IV let alone the other in the series, so needless to say I will be playing through it again on this.
  18. Would that be the same Sam and Max that's allready out(?) on Wii? *ninja-edit* nm just realised that it is, nice.
  19. Yeah, it's damn shoddy of Sega not to notice though lol also to a lesser extent with the American Boxart but despite all this I really love the collection.
  20. Sleep now in the Fiiiire!
  21. Narwhals! http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/484667 XD
  22. Allready noted.
  23. Fake Plastic Trees because it's aurally astounding.
  24. You were missing 20 MUSE songs? for shame! lol actually which ones Dyson? I'd hate to know that I'm missing any :/ I have all their major albums + Hullabaloo so yeah if there are any rare B-sides or something left to get I'd love to know, afterall there isn't such a thing as having too much Muse imo. :p
  25. The Bends is a quality album, worth it for Fake Plastic Trees alone as for In Rainbows, I'd urge you to listen to it a few time after you've listened to some of their older stuff, I find that in doing so (personally anyway) their latest album is easier to appreciate and actually quite rightly so as it's a decent album and lol don't worry, it didn't click with me the first few times I listened to it but now it does, gonna listen to it again tomorrow. ^^
