Seriously, I would love to see OOT somehow patched on the Wii to include all of those features that got taken out, it could be easily done now surely? I'd even pay up to 500 wii points for the additional patch if the content was enough to justify it. Then again, Nintendo can't even emulate the N64 memory pak / rumble pak at present so it might be a case of they simply can't emulate the 64DD hardware, which is a shame if so but damn... if they could only find a way. :/

Sensible really, I don't think I paid full price for mine, got a USA one for a bit more than £200 but significantly less than £250 I think it was... having said that I only currently own three PS3 games - MGS4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, R&C - and I use the machine as a TV - using PlayTV - more than I actually play games on it, plus I don't watch many TV programs. :/ Yeah, £200 is about right for a machine that you'll probably only want in order to play the exclusive titles on it, I genuinely thought I'd be using my PS3 more than I currently do but alas it turned out to be not the case; though it will no doubt be getting more use closer to the release of titles like GOW III and FFXIII because I'll play the prequels that I missed out on back in the day due to not having a PS2 so it's still useful.

Indeed, plus if you're going to spend between 25 - 50 hours playing a game then you want to be using a comfortable control pad really... now the PS3 pad is useable of course, otherwise I wouldn't have played through MGS4 on the machine but the 360 pad is just better in nearly every single respect, so for multi-format games, it's a no-brainer.

Actually I'd be inclined to agree with you Paj, plus it messed up the tracklisting for half the tracks after it which kinda blows :/ I might track down the version without it.

I'm sorry to hear that Raining isn't there anything else they can do for her that might help the knee joint to recover a bit?

To be fair, there isn't much to discuss, I've always thought them to be very substandard and unremarkable from the beginning of their 'career'... their music just grates on me. :/ I know there are people who do like them but really they just aren't for me and never ever will be... There are definitely some decent tracks on that album, and I must admit that I rather enjoy singing along to Learning to Fly on Rock Band.

Ah Foo Fighters... a band I have really liked for a while now and who occupy a special place in my heart; I've listened to all of their albums many a time and as I've said before, they are a band that do what they do very well, I know they will never be regarded as highly as some artists but that matters not because they are still for myself and many others enjoyable to listen to. Now I admit, recently I have not listened to them much at all in comparison to how much I used to - which used to be daily, then weekly etc - but I still listen to them whenever I get the urge to but more often than not I enjoy playing along to them more - as Villan has mentioned - on Rock Band because I get so much more out of them that way. But yeah, favourite album is The Colour and the Shape easilly but if I'm listening to it and not playing then it has to bethe expanded version which has the self-titled single plus some really decent covers of stuff like Baker Street , Drive Me Wild and Down in the Park. ---------------------------------------- Muse... fuck the hype, fuck the negativity and fuck the fact that Muse will never be as good as they once were; the album will still be enjoyable for myself and many others so live and let live. [/needless debate] ---------------------------------------- P.J Harvey... I've finished listening to her entire collective workings and I now absolutely adore her as an artist, it's as you said Paj, she really is a national treasure. ---------------------------------------- Tori Amos... listening to Boys for Pele and fuck... I knew there was at least one song from her that I had heard long ago but I could never place it until now, it was Professional Widow! - the remix - I didn't even know it was her who sung it when it first came out but damn I remember the song, even if I didn't realise what the lyrics were properly until now it's so deceptive hearing it now though because it's so different from the rest of the album, it has a lot of mainstream appeal and is quite easy to get into, anyway yeah, a real blast from the past even though I wasn't quite expecting it.

Thirded! for great justice! that was one of those genuine 'wow' moments, once this had been discovered I exploited this new found freedom to its limits... Someone chasing me? down the hole, through the passage, up and around, sneak up on them and bam! there it is... headshot! or jump down, plant mines on the ceiling underneath and on the floor, then they jump in after and... KABOOM! ah... good times... soon to be relived!

I gave it a fair listen Woz but honestly I knew that I wouldn't like it due to me never really liking The Arctic Monkeys since their debut half a decade or so ago... but still I listened and it didn't do anything for me, if people get enjoyment out of their albums then that's fine but it just isn't for me. Haha, that's made from all kinds of awesome.

This... I would do this many a time, laugh as it claimed an unsuspecting victim and then genuinely mourn the loss of such an awesome weapon... ... then I'd find another one withing the next minute so all was well again.

Haha, that's brilliant! thanks Paj also RE: La Roux... so what if they don't want to shamelessley whore themselves out like the vast majority of the music POPulation by making loads of vids and partaking in - mostly - tacky photoshoots, I think it's good that they are refraining, their music is all I really care about and that's of a decent quality so they can do what the fuck they like, more power to them I say.

'Lips that promise - fear the worst Tongue so sharp - the bubble burst Just into unjust' Hmm I don't make promises that I can't keep so I don't make them that often, but if I do then I make sure to honour them.

Thanks for that video iPaul that's one of the few Metallica tracks that I hadn't heard before, so I enjoyed it, I've always admired the way that they are always in complete command of their instruments... this is more evident on their earlier tracks but it was also evident in that video and when I saw them live; they're really good at what they do Imo. --------------------- I just listened to Symphony in Blue by Kate Bush and it reminded me of what a great track it is, here's a video of her performing it live, the actual track doesn't start until 56 seconds in... I really like it anyway.

Heh I know, I was just calling your bluff but anyway, I'm really looking forward to listening to all the CD's I've ordered recently, I bet the local postman won't feel the same way though :p I think the largest amount of CD's I've ever had arrive at once is maybe 4 or 5 but I think that record could be potentially broken some time this week.

Well listening to the albums that I will soon be receiving is present enough really but if you insist you could argue that it's me that needs to buy you a present for encouraging me to listen to such artists so the two cancel each other out I guess. I wouldn't refuse a gift though obviously if the offer is genuine but either way it's a kind gesture.

*breathes a sigh of relief* Ok I feel assured of the quality of my latest purchase now, thanks I can't promise when I'll actually listen to it though what with the majority of both Bjork and Tori Amos discographies plus a few other choice albums but I'm sure I'll fit it in somehow.
