I'd still prefer it if they scrapped that stage and made something more like the DKC mine level or even the mine cart stage from Sonic 2 (Master System version).

Don't worry Ash, I only beat the first gym today too, though admitedly I spent most of my time before that training up six Pokemon to be at least level 15 but still... You can use the walker as soon as you've put a Pokemon in the PC box, you then select the walker option from the title-screen menu and you can place any one Pokemon on it from your PC box, Idk if you can put the egg on it, I would imagine not but it would be nice if it did let you do it that way, if not though just keep it in your party at the top - the next usable Pokemon will be visible instead - as it won't take long to hatch. Having to teach a Pokemon the move Flash does suck but at least it's just a TM this time around and not a HM... actually I can't remember what it was originally, anyway, I'd suggest teaching it to the first electric Pokemon you catch.

After seeing those videos everything looks rather nice indeed... except for that kinds 'dodgy' looking mine-cart stage where you use the Left and right triggers to tilt the level? Obviously that stage will work better on the Wii version but even then it still probably won't play that well, I really don't know why they just didn't mimic DKC for that stage... now there's an example of a mine-cart level done right.

I've allready done that, I was just curious to see if there were any particular levels that people tend to evolve them at. ------------------------------ Currently having a go at trying to find a shiny leaf, pretty cool little extra, wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't visisted Serebii.net... keep up the good work. Has anyone else managed to find one btw? If you get five with one Pokemon you can get them made into a leaf crown apparently. *edit* nice! I just found my first shiny leaf using Togepi.
-
I recently got Togepi, is there a particular level it's best to hold off evolution until? I know Togepi doesn't evolve into Togetic until happy but I could make it hold an Everstone for a bit... also to evolve it further requires a certain stone I believe? Again is there a level that it's better to wait until before evolving?

Haha, that's brilliant... I've never seen that before but it made my day, thanks Coolness Alanis instantly makes the song more 'listenable' for me anyway, I love the fact that it's so relevant too what with it apparently being an April Fools joke on Fergie three years ago - I researched it and apparently she loved it too - and the fact that it's almost April 1st.

Why would you trade your starter Pokemon which has the potential to become much stronger in its third form, for a Scyther? unless you've allready got another one via breeding of course, if not though it doesn't seem like a great trade tbh. Anyway, seems you have an offer already... Pidgeot > Noctowl... Imo/tbh/idk But choose whichever you like best.
-
Well all of the above are master tracks afaik and are well-worth getting imo.

Jimi Hendrix anyone? Axis Bold as Love (full album) 1600 msp is available for download on Rock Band! Not only that but a previously unreleased track is also available Valleys of Neptune 160 msp Just playing it now, epic stuff. ^^

Hey no worries dude, just think of girls like that as a semi-rare Pokemon... you may have missed your chance to catch her this time around but there will be other chances, so just make sure you're prepared next time... carry plenty of Pokeballs.
-
You do realise she could have been into Pokemon as well and was just curious... Pokemon doesn't have quite the social 'stigma' that people used to assume it did, especially with the popularity of the DS now and the decidedly 'casual' advert for Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
-
I'd have thought so too but thinking about it, there are probably a good few fundamental differences between being 'queer' and 'gay' because isn't calling someone who is gay 'queer' offensive in some way I thought? Plus queer could just mean 'odd' , 'different' or 'strange' much like its original meaning... but I digress because we're getting waaaay off-topic here lol. --------------------------------------------- Shigeru Miyamoto On a Nintendo forum I don't even need a reason to state why this guy is such a legend because a lot of you allready know, but he shall still be posted anyway, simply because Shigsy is awesome.
-
Quadragenarian? Or maybe... just maybe... Queer.
-
Damn... that's just bad luck at least you'll get him next time though.
-
So I tried out the Poke'walker, it's actually pretty damn cool I'm guessing you need to accumulate a good 1000+ steps to gain your Pokemon a level though or before you start to get any items. Also the finding Pokemon thing, it'll only do that if you tell it to from the menu when you have enough watts right? Otherwise if you just leave it in your pocket without touching it, it'll just count the steps I assume.
-
Wow... O.o they really did think of everything.
-
So this Pokewalker... I hear that you transfer one of your Pokemon to it? But what if you end up losing or damaging the device while a Pokemon is on it? Do you then lose the Pokemon due to not being able to transfer it back?
-
How do you mean? The Pokemon intros have been virtually the same since the GBA games have they not? With the panning shots of the game world, epic theme, various Pokemon appearing and then finally the legendary + logo... I fail to see how these can be any worse.
-
I agree... also I love the prominent '12 inches' on that image, it sounds like they're using it as a selling point e.g. '12 inches of Turtwig! Rawr!' kind of way rather than denoting the actual diameter I'm guessing.

Games you used to love.. but now hate!

XBLA version fixes this, they upped the framerate to 60fps which is a marked improvement over the N64 version, not to mention redone graphics and full online multiplayer. -
Aha! this is why I asked... I figured it might be ok being that Mystery Gift doesn't involve Friend Codes but I just wanted to be sure, I thought it was a partially dumb question when I asked it but hey, it still seemed better to enquire to be 100% sure, anyway Thanks Serebii.

Ok so I just got my Pikachu coloured Pichu for both my copies of Platinum and Diamond which I've owned from new, however I have a second copy of Diamond that I acquired second-hand... I can't/shouldn't try to connect that extra copy to Nintendo WFC on my DSi I'm guessing due to the whole... "treat this Nintendo DS and card as a set" thing presuming the 2nd copy has been used online allready on another DS.
-
Nice, I just got mine, what sort of stuff does it/will it unlock?
-
Another thing not taken into account there is that the screens will supposedly be near-seamless... that's not the case in that mock-up... I kind of envision it being played with both screens together in a 'wide-screen' format in 3DS formation and on its 'side' to use it as a DS but then... that begs the question, where do the speakers and buttons go in order to make that work? So in actual fact it'd probably have to be a 'tall-screen' setup for 3DS games which actually would be great if Ikaruga ever came to it - hey I can dream right? - but not so great for other games. Guess we'll just have to endlessly speculate until it's prooperly unveiled at E3...
