YouTube Subtitles - Transcribe Audio - LOL

'here here here here here here here' I think Hitler wants Mario to come closer... :p -
So I decided to pick this up as my last purchase from Tesco's VAT Free games sale along with a Nav controller - paid £47.38 for both after discounts - so that I could try out Move with y'know... a real game. :p I haven't played it yet but I just wanted to know how well people think it actually controls with Move... I'm assuming it's much better than a pad and that I haven't just wasted money on another sub-controller that I don't need. As for the game itself, I have no worries about it beeing good etc as it'll be the first in the series that I've bothered to play so I'm sure I'll be blown away etc by it. Also, what are the optimum settings for the motion controller? i.e how much dead-zone do you need etc, or doesn't it matter that much...

This game is stunning! I've only really just started playing and its aready had me in stiches more than a few times, some of the things Kirby does are hilarious. I'm currently trying to piece together a review as I play and it's coming along nicely, I won't rush it though as I believe this is game to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace but at the moment I'm just simply amazed by it all. Kirby's Epic Yarn is the perfect reminder of just why I love Nintendo games.

Games without combat/fighting/killing/shooting
S.C.G replied to Oxigen_Waste's topic in Other Consoles
Guitar Hero/Rock Band - No combat/fighting/killing/shooting involved, just lots and lots of notes... Viva Pinata - As mentioned above, doesn't contain violence unless you consider being able to whack your Pinata with a shovel a violent act? Personally I'd consider it merciful. :p Need For Speed : Hot Pursuit - Well... I know the cars have 'weapons' but I don't think it could really be considered 'combat' per-say as we're only really talking about EMP's and Spike Strips which indirectly can affect other cars. Tetris Evolution - Contains 100% blocks and nothing else! Sega Superstar Tennis - It's tennis! with Sega characters! and it's fun! for about a week... Marvel VS. Capcom 3 - Absolutely no violenece here whatsoever, oh wait... nevermind. Or yeah, you could just buy Stacking seeing as you seem to be leaning towards it anyway, even I'm tempted to buy it, just not right now... anyway hope this helps. -
Fair enough... : peace: I know Strategy Guides still have their place alongside the internet, though to me they seem to be more of a collectable item than an indispensable source of info.

Not to discount the usefulness of Pokemon strategy guides but... Serebii? Of course a guide is always useful when you're away from the PC but otherwise...

Your gamerDNA is: Explorer The Explorer motto: "No stone unturned!" Description: It's not so much the wandering around and poking about, but that euphoric eureka moment the Explorer strives for. The joys of discovery do not necessarily involve geography, real or virtual. They may derive from the mental road less traveled, the uncovering of esoteric or hidden knowledge and it's creative application. Explorers make great theory crafters. The most infinitesimal bit of newness can deliver the most delicious zing to an Explorer. Secondary influences * Explorer Killers enjoy seeing the world, meeting interesting people...and killing them. EKs love all discovery, but finding an edge over the competition is best. Always seeking new opportunity, an EK likely knows the ten best places to find certain types of opponents, as well as ten different ways for taking them down. * Explorer Achievers have been there, done that and have the t-shirt...in fact they have a plethora of t-shirts, badges, trophies and other rewards. EAs are the completionists of the gamer world. They like to find new places, quests, easter eggs, unlocks, maps etc. and check them off as have, visited or beaten. Like real world travelers, EAs enjoy collecting memorabilia that helps them relive their experiences later. * Explorer Socializers are the glue of the online world. Not only do they like to delve in to find all the cool stuff, but they also enjoy sharing that knowledge with others. Explorer socializers power the wikis, maps, forums and theory craft sites of the gamer world. Reward Driven -27% Thoughtful 27% Exploratory 100% Physical -24% Competitive -45% Sadistic -21% I agree with most of it apart from the sadistic result as I can be sometimes... it just depends on the game. :p

^ You're welcome Regarding the Black and White stuff, I also happened to be browsing the fantastic Serebii.net looking for information - not too much to spoil anything but enough to whet ones appetite - and the sheer amount of stuff in the new games would seem to be immense. I've no idea regarding stuff like Unity Tower but I'm sure it's something suitably epic and will be one of the many things to look forward to when the titles arrive here in a matter of weeks.

Thanks very much for the trade if you ever need any particular Pokemon in the future let me know.
-
It's official and by Microsoft so of course it will be... :p Having said that though I am curious about the new Xbox 360 controller with a supposedly proper d-pad so I await your feedback on the pad with baited breath Dyson though I still don't expect it to fully replace my fightpad even though the 360 pad has rumble which is tempting in itself though I've kind of got used to just not having it...
-
It's ok, I'll let the music do the talking...
-
Plus it's not really £7 per pack... well it is if you buy your Microsoft points at the highest price maybe but it's more like £3 if you can get a good deal on MS Points.
-
I'm sure she didn't, Kate Bush has many sublime songs and I'd actually dare you to listen to some of them - if you haven't already - and quite honestly tell me that they are 'disgusting' because if you did then you know I'd have to get Arnold out...
-
Thanks I already PM'd you my code but here it is again... 0688 1766 6086 7pm should be fine, I look forward to trading with you.

^ It's called a Fightpad, if you're ordering online than you can get them from Play I believe but if you want high-street then try HMV as that's where I got my second pad from for £12... they seem to seell certain designs cheaper than the rest - Street Fighter themed - so it's worth a look. Edit - http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/8777691/Street-Fighter-IV-Xbox-360-FightPad-Controller-Ryu/Product.html?ptsl=1&ob=Price&fb=0&searchstring=fightpad&searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0&urlrefer=search That's the cheapest one on Play which is £27.00 :/ now that's about what I paid for mine when it was new around a year or two ago, it is worth that price but like I say... in HMV in-store they were selling them at TWO for £30 so it is worth looking or checking their site.

Do you want a specific Pokemon for it?
-
Wait a minute... I have a spare Jirachi that I'd be willing to trade for a Celebi.
-
But... surely it's not about being hardcore, just wanting a decent d-pad? I'm just surprised that more people haven't picked one up for fighters and arcade games being that they can be found quite cheaply now and are very reliable/useful. I only learn enough moves to get me through as well - currently working my way through all the arcade endings - but if I'd have been using the 360 d-pad to do this then I'm sure my left thumb would have been wrecked by now... so it's partly about the comfort level too.
-
If anyone has a spare Celebi (unlikely) and is willing to trade one (unlikelier still) for one of the 'Trio of Johto' (mega unlikely) then let me know... ... I'm not expecting any actual response, just putting it out there.
-
I've said it once and I'll say it again... Why the hell even bother trying to use the piss-poor d-pad on the Xbox 360 controller when you can buy a fightpad for £12 - £18 that has one of the best d-pad's around and has a layout that actually makes sense for fighting games... Seriously, since buying one I use it for every fighting title and any arcade title that requires a precise d-pad, to anyone who doesn't have one I'd just say 'buy eeeeet!' it's worth every penny. : peace:
-
I too have played this game for a good couple of hours today and I'm absolutely loving it! ... getting my ass kicked several times over by the final boss on medium but still... absolutely loving it really is a joy to play. Also, I just got owned by Wesker and one of his end taunts is... 'now if you'll excuse me, I have a world to saturate' lol brilliant.
-
For anyone wanting to pick this up cheap, check your local Tesco because atm I found that in my store it's currently £24.00! an absolute steal considering its been out what... two weeks? it's of course part of the VAT free games thing so won't be around forever but still, well worth picking up at that price.
