Usually when you say these words, the game turns out to be decent... ...probably because we have similar taste in games but still.

I love... don't change that typo... ever!

Judging from whats been going through the tills a box of it costs £9.00 which gets you about 8-10 cans I think? Not 100% certain on the number of cans but it probably works out at around being £1.00 + per can which doesn't sound too bad. You can also buy it in a four pack which - naturally - is slightly more expensive, I can find out the exact amount of cans that are in the larger box later for you if you'd like... I'm sure more of it will be going through the till, seems somewhat popular atm. Nevermind... I gogoled the stuff - Stella Cidre - it's £9.00 for an 8-pack, £3.29 for a 4-pack or £1.39 per 568ml bottle, all of those prices are introductory so expect them to be almost a pound or so more when they go back up to their regular price, hope this helps. : peace: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/ProductBuylist/default.aspx?id=L00002724

So... having given Wasting Light a good five listens now I can safely say that it is without a doubt their best album since The Colour and the Shape and quite possibly their best work to date. Foo Fighters for so long have frustrated me by failing to truly deliver - for me - since that point, now that's not to say that they've been a dissapointment, far from it... In Your Honour was a most excellent - almost - return to form for them delivering many solid hits but Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace just ended up falling flat aside from a few songs. But now they have finally outdone themselves, for their latest album is basically what they've never quite delivered since their early days, now they finally have and it's simply a joy to behold. From the very start it's straight in there with the heavy guitar riffs that sound fantastic, then the lyrics kick in, the rythym forms and about a minute into the first track you know that you're going to be listening for the duration of the album... all the time you're listening though, waiting for that one dull track but this time, it never comes, it just keeps going, keeps flowing, keeps rocking and most importantly keeps you listening. The time Dave Grohl spent in the company of Josh Homme as part of Them Crooked Vultures was certainly not wasted, indeed their debut album was fantastic in its own right but what's particularly stunning here is the influence that Homme has had on this album as it clearly shines through particularly on the track White Limo which screams shades of You Think I Aint Worth A Dollar from the stellar Queens of the Stone Age classic Songs for the Deaf. What's most striking of all though is that this is a fantastic album in it's own right and easily features the best selection of songs on a Foo Fighters album since The Colour and the Shape. In all honestly I wasn't expecting Wasting Light to blow me away yet here I stand - nay kneel! - before the talent of a truly great band that I had once lost a bit of respect for and now am in awe of once again. : peace: Quite simply... I love.

I was once standing where you are now, having loved Björk for a while now I welcome you with open arms and urge you to simply enjoy... for her music is indeed indescribably immersive.

Wasting Light by Foo Fighters And I fucking love it!

So... God of War : Asian Edition then?

There's just so much wrong with that trailer that I don't know where to start but I sure know how to end it... *sigh* 'not another cover-based shooter...'

Sorry to hear about your budgie Pancake...

Is nothing sacred? ... In all seriousness I'm sure that Grezzo Co. will do a fine job on the enhanced port but it begs the question... if Nintendo outsourced this then, what are their internal teams secretly working on?

I love... Always have done, they'll never match their greatest album - The Colour and the Shape - but each new album usually brings with it some solid singles even if they aren't truly satisfying as a whole. But I have gained a lot of enjoyment through listening to them over the years so I fully intend to purchase their latest album asap and can't wait to hear it in full. My taste in music may have changed - somewhat drastically - over the last few years but I still have something of a soft spot for the Foo Fighters and always will. : peace:

They could quite easily make platforming parts like that though in the second part, just don't have anything that can be locked onto... but the sad fact is that I know deep down that we will never see another Sonic game that has the quality or intricate gameplay of the second outing; so I've resigned myself to the fact that Sonic 4 is what it is and that is 'decent' but not amazing, so I just enjoy it for the decent game that it is. Yes it's sad that fan-made projects have turned out better than it and perhaps the wiser thing would be for these fan projects to somehow be made or incorporated into real games but this is Sega... to be this stubborn takes Ages.

Sonic 4 was a decent effort and it's a solid start to the 'rebirth' of the 2D titles, even if the physics are slightly 'off' it's still extremely playable plus the homing attack actually adds to the game, if you think it detracts from things then maybe you're doing it wrong, because honestly when you use the attack properly the game just flows. I do hope they manage to tweak things slightly for the second part however. Sonic Colours is one of the best Sonic titles I've had the pleasure of playing in recent years, partly due to the self-parody references that Shorty mentioned but alos because it's genuinely fun! The wisps were a stroke of genius managing to add many new abilities and ways to play that actually enhanced the overall experienced and encouraged further replays in a way that no Sonic game before has quite managed. Sonic Generations looks promising from the trailer as it harks back to the days when Sonic well... looked like Sonic :p that's not to say I hate the modern-day design but there's a lot to be said for Sonic's original design that looked more hedgehog-like due to the proportions. It's hard to tell from this early stage but I'd be willing to bet that we'll get to play as various styles of Sonic from the different eras and will have some kind of possible time-travel mechanic similar to Sonic CD but with more polished level design but really this is all speculation now as there's not much else to say about the trailer other than, it looks promising.

^ De Blob 2 is a great game, I picked up the 360 version for cheap when it was going for £18 a few weeks ago at work, only played the first stage so far though but it's very enjoyable especially if you enjoy collecting things.

Oh cool, I didn't realise that my review had been pimped out already, thanks Franklin! : peace: I love this game but I really need to play it a bit more... I've got past the elite 4 and have found all the sages (nearly) but I've yet to have a rematch with the Elite 4 or even go to Black City, which I really should do.

The review is up on site in case anyone wanted to read it... http://www.n-europe.com/review.php?rid=568 Sorry it took so long. : peace:

Mercenaries 3D does have one decent thing going for it though... Portability.
-
Yes... yes it does, not quite as well as on a PC but it does work. The only reason I don't buy FPS games for the PC is that I'm not using a PC that could run them, so Xbox 360 version for me.
-
This then, because if a customer brought back a 3DS to a reasonably large high-street store citing that 'the 3D could make my child go blind!' then they will issue a refund without question. It would be better if large stores were allowed to put extra notices alongside the 3DS stating that this isn't the case - because it isn't - but I can't see that happening.
-
Yes but ultimately there's nothing that we can do, if someone wants to return something that they haven't opened then they're entitled to, if someone came up to me at work wanting to return a 3DS for a reason similar to the one Dyson stated above then I would attempt to persuade them otherwise but ultimately the customer is always 'right'... ...the customer can also be stupid, ill-informed, stubborn etc but there's little that can be done about that sadly.
-
Let them return their 3DS units, they'll be missing out and then it'll be bought again by someone who actually wants one, knows how it works ard will actually appreciate it. The 'journalists' of The Scum are morons if they believe what they printed to be true and people who have read said article and agree with it like sheep without questioning or listening to reason are even more foolish for allowing themselves to be brainwashed. :p

Yeah there's plenty to do after the Elite 4, it's the game that keeps on giving. : peace: I can understand if you want to take a break from it though but it's definitely worth coming back to.
