  1. Well I may not have been able to order the CD - whatever - [/apathy] but yesterday I managed to score myself most of an entire window display, basically laminates that stick to any glass surface featuring, Link, Ganondorf, Skulltula, Poe... plus a double-sided laminate poster featuring the boxart plus a cardboard standee featuring Link on Epona raising the Master Sword, the words 'The Legend Returns' in the background and a place to display the game where mine is currently placed. And to think it would all have been destined for the bin if I hadn't happened to visit the shop on my way to work! So all in all I'm pretty happy I'll post pics when I can.
  2. Having the same problem and it's pissing me off, had the same problem before trying to input my address on the site, it was the reason I stopped bothering registering stuff there and I can't believe it hasn't changed since then. :/
  3. ^ Or just order from ShopTo... they've never let me down yet, and if they ever do - which I doubt - they'll credit an extra £3.00 to my account anyway.
  4. Although I enjoy Monster by The Automatic... I'm gonna have to go with Kayne West because his interpretation is superior.
  5. Radiohead... as if it were ever even debatable.
  6. Isn't it just? it was always one of my favourite parts but now even more so. The extra detail is indeed impressive and I love how its basically turned into a huge mini-game of 'spot the difference' :p the Game Notes feature on the 3DS is making keeping track of those heart pieces / skultullas easier too, speaking of which I just got the one above Dodongo's Cavern the 'unofficial' way by backflipping from the bomb flower point and on top of the entrance, no magic bean or water required. *edit* Eddage that site banner is fantastic!
  7. I'm loving your sig Ed! your best yet imo. I'm also loving playing this game again, personal highlight so far? Darunia dancing in 3D.
  8. You'd be doing exactly the same if you had the game... And no I didn't, ShopTo ftw!
  9. This game is still incredible, I mean I know it's Ocarina of Time but... it's portable and it looks so much better when you're playing it on the 3DS than it does in trailers, Link seems to move faster too which is a plus. Loving the tilt aiming, it's great because you can move the system to roughly where you want to shoot and then use the circle-pad for finite adjustment if necessary, the pad itself works fantastically well for just standard control too, after playing through the first dungeon on this game I now have complete faith in it as a viable control alternative to the analogue stick. Also, Saria looks even nicer in 3D... y'know, for a Kokiri. :p ... What?
  10. Audio The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time 3D get!
  11. ^ Is the above achievement worth 29G? :p Happy Birthday H-o-T
  12. And if that's not a selling point then I don't know what is...
  13. Nope... Mine says The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 3DS (with Limited Edition Master Sword Stylus and Pedestal) :awesome: I wish lol
  14. ShopTo have other 'lesser' games in stock for other formats, games which are also due for release on Friday, but not Ocarina of Time 3D yet? A tad annoying... still I have paid for mine in advance regardless so just as soon as they get it in stock - hopefully today - it'll be dispatched, should have it by Thursday, I'm not holding out hope for it arriving tomorrow. :p Oh scratch that... it's actually changed to In Stock just now and my order is processing.
  15. I turned off the suspended save feature for Link's Awakening DX purely because it's not needed - you can save and quit by pressing A,B,Select,Start - and I've had no problems whatsoever... ... jus' sayin'
  16. This is most true, if I'm completely honest I didn't finish either DS Zelda games and I believe the reason for that is they quite simply aren't in the same league as Minish Cap, Oracle of Ages/Seaons or the fantastic Link's Awakening DX.
  17. While reviewing today I finally decided to immerse myself in Pendulum by listening to three albums back to back and quite frankly I love... I've heard their songs before in various places but never took the time to really listen to them until now but I'm glad I did, really enjoy that rewarding feeling of 'discovering' an artist who you've heard of but just 'put off' listening to for some unknown reason. Anyway... *goes off to rip Pendulum Live at Brixton Academy*
  18. Saves = your progress in the game Data = information installed that's either required to run the game or DLC.
  19. The level design isn't bad it's just generic... there's a difference and even though it might adhere to a certain design template it's still fun to play whereas I've played many shooters that have excellent level design but aren't actually that fun at all...
  20. I'm genuinely happy for you and hope that you enjoy the game because it's truly stunning.
  21. Happy Birthday Flameboy!
  22. Funny... I checked through all the achievements and there isn't one for that, unless I'm missing something? Anyway, anyone else manage to get the 'Balls of Steel' achievement? I did last night, toook a while but it was worth it.
  23. Then... you're doing it wrong get the 3DS on a flat surface then press and hold A and B then press and hold Select at the same time with Start as the last button, this way works every time even if it's a tad difficult given the recessed buttons for Select - Home - Start. Also for anyone interested, I'm currently writing VC Weekly #165 which includes reviews for... The Legend of Zelda : Link's Awakening DX Super Adventure Island II Super Mario Land Alleyway Tennis This would be the first time I've reviewed five games in one edition in... ages, fun times :p though I must say I'm enjoying playing Link's Awakening again.
  24. ^ Personal preference, I feel the name F-Zero WX would suit it better, especially as the Wii part of the name is more prominent plus it would have been called this if we got to see the game on the the Wii - which we didn't - but being that the Wii U is essentially a Wii HD but with bucketloads of potential it kind of makes up for the fact that it 'skipped' a generation... ... assuming that it happens, which it will... it had better!
  25. It's time... F-ZeroWX 'The original anti-gravity racer returns and this time You really are the pilot, utilising the front-facing camera inside the controller you can introduce yourself to the cast of F-Zero as the game takes your image and draws you a character in keeping with the games actual style; what's more is you can then make your own entire avatar that becomes part of the ever-expanding character roster, be a hero with F-Zero! Of course characters are just but one facet to the game as it would be nothing without the crafts themselves and with the power of the Wii U it's now possible not only to design your own emblems in a more detailed way than before by utlising the camera to import your own textures but also to design individual ship parts so that you can create your own racing machine; customisation just got taken to a whole new level. Naturally this latest entry features many of the classic tracks that have become part of F-Zero history including Big Blue and of course Mute City, not only are these brought to life once more in glorious HD but now for the first time worldwide on a home console you will be able to create your own tracks using the most intuitive track creation tool ever, the Wii U controller. Speaking of controls there are multiple ways available to you and with backwards compatiblity included in the console you can of course use your Wii-Remote + Nunchuk or even the Classic Controller Pro but perhaps the most exciting is using the Wii U controller as not only does it feature both motion control plus standard button presses depending on your preferences but it also puts you in the pilot seat like never before allowing you to look beyond the TV screen and around the craft as your character that you designed, this is how anti-gravity was always meant to be. Of course all of this user-created content is exciting but it would be foolish to forget about the characters and their ships that made the series what it is today and so a complete roster of characters from past games is included along with a few new characters you've yet to be introduced to; what's more is that every character in this new entry has their own mini-story mode to play through which both fills you in on their story and provides a short but sweet experience in addition to the rest of the games content which is greatly expanded. There are multiple leagues for you to race across featuring many stunning tracks plus not only a main story mode for either your character or any of your favourites to play through but an expanded challenge mode too which is even more punishing than the one previously featured in F-Zero GX a bold claim indeed but one that we're sure fans of the series will appreciate. All of the above is fantastic news for the single player but what about when you wish to battle it out against fellow pilots? Well fear not because not onle is four-player split-screen included as standard, if you're using the new controller then you can opt to have your segment rendered independently on your own screen with absolutely no lag; and speaking of lag-free our online multiplayer features up to sixteen players with the option of filling the rest of the spaces with fully programmable bots but no dips in the framerate, F-Zero is here online and it's here to stay! Excited? You should be! So the question on all of your lips is surely going to be when... when is this game released? 12:12:12 this is the one simple date that you need to remember why? because including every single F-Zero game released up until now - including japan exclusive SNES experiments, the expansion kit and AX - this will make F-Zero WX the twelth game in the long-running series but wait we here you cry... that would mean it's the eleventh entry, you would be right there... if it wasn't for the imminent release of F-Zero 3D coming to the 3DS in summer 2012! featuring many classic tracks, full online, in full 3D and of course cross-compatibility with F-Zero WX. F-Zero is back and in a big way, and best of all... it's here to stay!' Annnnnnnnd now weep in the realisation that this game isn't real... However it is my vision for the future of the series, possibly a tad unrealistic but hey this is what forum dreams are made of right? :p And basically I wanted all of your thoughts on it but more importantly... 'What's your F-Zero vision for the future?' It's bound to happen sometime over the lifetime of both the 3DS and Wii U so why not start dreaming - and creaming - now?
