Killzone, Knack... I'm aiming to collect as many PS4 titles beginning with 'K' as possible, obviously. Lolol Kingdom Hearts 3 I'll be planning on buying when it releases too. :p

^ What a waste of plastic... ...that could have been used to make more PS4's.

So after my friend who I used to play PSO with informed me of the PSO2 Tweaker program - he's been playing for a while but I've been resisting due to lack of 100% proper translation plus just stubbornness on my part - I decided to take the plunge, registering an account wasn't too bad apart from the Japanese 'Captcha Boss' as it's referred to on the PSOW guide which did take me a few attempts, then it was just a case of downloading the game installer and the entire game which I unwittingly went for the original JP install and it took me literally a whole day to download. But now I have it, got the PSO2 Tweaker program, got the first two Eng language patches installed but now I need to get the story mode patch which is another 1.8GB... It'll be worth it, hopefully by today/tomorrow I'll be playing the game or will have at least logged in successfully and created a character, but I won't properly be playing until the weekend; if all goes well though, then... yay! Screw waiting for the possiblyneverbeingreleasedanyway localised English version!

This doesn't affect me... at all... I have never used Blockbusters ever, mainly because there are better places to buy/rent films/games from, plus I haven't 'rented' anything in forever so I question the market for places like this to even exist any more. So I don't really see this as either a good or bad thing personally, just general feelings of apathy toward a company that didn't mean much to me other than being a name that I vaguely recognised. It would be nice if their soon to be ex-employees can find work elsewhere but aside from that, I suppose it was time? : peace:

Day... frakking... one! I actually really enjoyed playing/reviewing the first one... http://www.n-europe.com/reviews/fast-racing-league My only big criticism at the time was lack of online, so if they can 'fix' that this time around then...

1: EV training seems to be a way of guaranteeing the stats that you want when levelling up, in the older games you could do this by fighting certain Pokemon, in certain places, in certain ways... or so I gather, it's not something I've partaken in. 2: The point of Super Training is that when it says 'Your defence has increased +4!' they should really add on to that at the end... 'Upon your next level' or something, as these stat boosts don't actually happen until you level up. Well anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :p In other news, I haven't played this so much since getting to the post game, what are the main things I should be doing in the game right now apart from Safari Zone - which I haven't been to - and catching a blatantly obvious Pokemon - which I've already done - is there more to this game?

Mmmm... it sounds like it's lost one of the main things which made the Xbox 360 so popular, near-seamless party chat. Even I will admit, there are some games I want for the Xbox One... mainly Crimson Dragon and Forza 5 but currently, I'd rather wait a good while and just see what happens; I'm not writing it off entirely but just definitely not buying at launch but I will be interested to hear what early adopters have to say about the machine. Even if I did want to 'cave' last minute I couldn't anyway, can only afford one new console this year and I consider myself lucky to be buying a PS4... not in a dig against the XBone, but just genuinely fortunate is all.

Its been quite a good year of Luigi so far! :p

If I join Playstation plus before the end of this month do I effectively get 'more' games from the instant games collection then? I already have the subscription codes but have been holding off until a good time to redeem... now would seem to be the best time wouldn't it? Especially as I'm getting a PS4 at launch. Was just wondering what the current instant games are, and what the new ones will be.

I'll be up to disk 4 of Caprica tonight, still really enjoying it but I keep watching it really late when I'm kinda tired, still taking most of it in though; I have a feeling that everything is going to start coming together from the next episode onward. Pretty sure the next episode I'll be watching is #12 - not much clue on the titles of them because French :p - but yes... things are starting to get pretty frakking interesting now.

So this is available to download for all regions now? And it's definitely confirmed to fix the glitch, while not causing anything else to go wrong? Just feels so odd having to download a patch for Pokemon. :p
-
There are also in-game achievements including a few exclusive ones for the Wii U... the only difference is you don't get an immersion-breaking pop-up saying 'OMG you just did THIS!' when you get them, you can just opt to check them at any time when you pause the game and go to the extras menu.

Yeah it definitely seems like a game that I'm sure you'd love given the time you've put into similar games. And I wasn't particularly knocking Kameo or Perfect Dark Zero, I actually love both games - for my sins in the case of PDZ - but yes, more Kameo as it was a sublime launch title, what I mean is for the launch of a new console I think Killzone/Knack will show off more of what the PS4 can really do more than PDZ/Kameo did for the Xbox 360 as ultimately they changed platforms during development many times and it certainly showed. Knack is certainly shaping up to be a decent, viable launch day purchase.

I'm now actually getting this at launch, I swapped my Bundle to one that contains Killzone Shadowfall and Knack, I'm actually looking forward to playing both. When I got my Xbox 360 my launch day games were Perfect Dark Zero plus Kameo: Elements of Power so perhaps I'm trying to recreate that same launch-day feeling, only this time with - hopefully - better games. Knack has certainly been shaping up nicely despite there not being much of a buzz around it, I think it'll turn out to be a solid enough action platformer with enough to offer at launch, it'll also most likely be the first game I try out the new 'remote play' with.

I've just had a quick look around and it seems like this game is scoring anywhere from a 6 (lowest) to 9 (highest) currently... not exactly a disaster - if you take any stock on scores - it would seem to mean that it's still going to be an enjoyable title for those who have played this first game(s) but it's nowhere near the same scale plus it doesn't have the attention to detail that the other games do; but then it's a prequel so was it ever supposed to? Anyway, I hope those of you who are getting it today enjoy it but I thought you might like a heads-up. I might get around to playing that sealed copy of Batman Arkham City: Armoured Edition at some point, but that's as far as my love or devotion to the 'series' will ever go personally. : peace: Oh yeah... metacrtitic http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/batman-arkham-origins/critic-reviews

Haha no... I wish Mario Kart 7... I play in the N-E league on a Thursday night, that's what I was referring to. I played this for about an hour or so last night, really enjoying it but I set myself up for a fall going in on the hardest difficulty :p also on the first proper level I only realised after several attempts that I was killing the guards, the ones I wasn't supposed to be killing. I know... derp! After that though things seemed to go reasonably well and I started to get into it quite easily, the only thing I'm not liking is that because I opted to go in with a magnum instead of a rifle I only have a handful of bullets which don't seem to drop anywhere, so I'm having to be really careful - and stealthy - at the moment, killing only when necessary as on this difficulty when being shot at you barely last three seconds if you're not in cover. I'm going to enjoy playing this! : peace:
-
So am I the only forum member who has this in their possession right now? It arrived for me this morning, but work, meals and Mario Kart between then and now means this is the first chance I'm getting to play it, going to load it up now! : peace: I know I have Zelda: Wind Waker HD to play - thanks Pokemon X - but, I'm going to save it until Christmas now, probably... :p
-
At that price, I'll take ten! :p No but seriously, pre-ordered... for now.
-
And that is why I pre-ordered a PS4! Barely a month to go!
-
So I actually started watching Caprica last night and my gods... I didn't know quite what to expect so I just went into it with an open mind and I have to say, I might only be two episodes in but I'm already warming to it. Although...
