Left Behind complete!
-
You say the nicest things Dwarf. (in fairness the central formatting is a bad habit of mine) -------------------------------------- That silver Dual Shock 4 is a thing of beauty! (The PS4 isn't bad either)
-
Right... well erm yes... but... Whoops! *accidentally deletes P.T from hard drive* How careless of me, I guess we'll just have to assume that it would have been 'shit the bed' scary. It's a shame because it was next on my test list too. :shakehead:shakehead

So after testing out my new headset by playing a bit of Left Behind my review is... Everything sounds crystal clear, just as it should! I can hear every click of the clickers, each mournful moan of the infected, gunfire is more substantial and every unintentional death more gruesome. Hnnnnnnnnnnggggh! / 10 I can't wait to try them out online. : peace:
-
It's weird, I was reading reviews and one of them stated that the build quality seems rather cheap... I wasn't expecting it to be chrome plated or anything but I happen to think that it's a pretty sturdily designed headset. Can't wait to try it out later. : peace:
-
I got my headset! : peace: Question though, the USB charging cable supplied is so damned short! Can I just use my DS4 charging cable being that they look very nearly identical? Neverind, found a review that says you can.

Meh, fair enough then. Still that's two weeks away, it makes sense to unveil it there but I really want to see footage of it so I can form an opinion on what it's probably going to be like... ...and then find out that I'm completely wrong when the game is released. Ah well, the weeks will fly be I'm sure. : peace:
-
Well I guess we won't be seeing any proper gameplay footage for a while then.
-
After going back to the game tonight it seems I meant L3 and not R3 in any case... I've finally completed the game!
-
Ah... yes I am, that makes sense then, but still I would have classed an impenetrable door barrier as being 'between encounters' it seems the game disagrees though. Oh well I'm sure I'll get through it somehow, I can't be that far from the next cutscene trigger and at least it's a challenge though in hindsight I perhaps should have chose a lower difficulty for my first play-through but I just wanted to experience the game 'properly' with the extreme lack of resources etc first hand. In that sense the game is certainly delivering as it's brutal! Clickable stick, focuses on points of interest as the story/situations advance.
-
I feel the need to elaborate on my checkpoint issues I've been having, I'll probably get past it tonight but I just thought I'd get anyone else's take on the situation seeing as you can approach every area in the game in different ways. Also I'm not meaning to sound impatient but I just want to finish the game - glorious as it is - and the DLC so that I can finally experience the multiplayer mode too being that my headset will be arriving tomorrow. : peace:
-
I'm curious too, are we finally getting some organisation options that will finally sort out the clusterfuck that is the home screen? It's really not helping my OCD as I just want to sort out all the icons but I can't. Otherwise I love my PS4! : peace: Also I hope this update won't cause any bricking to anyone's console just as previous ones have I believe. Oh yeah, my headset has been posted so I'll be joining the 'Master Race' soon.
-
Hahaha! I wonder what could have brought this on?
-
This game has serious checkpoint issues... I'm really close to the end of the game now but it's just so annoying when you get so far, go through a door where you think a checkpoint must have occurred but then you slip up, die and you're back to where you were twenty minutes ago. Just makes no sense.
-
You should be so lucky... ...lucky, lucky, lucky!
-
AND with the 3DS upside-down, while standing on one leg, humming the original Super Mario Kart theme backwards in the voice of Luigi.
-
Presumably the fit meter had some kind of on-board memory to stop you from losing all the data the moment you replace the battery? (genuinely curious as I don't know that much about the fit meter despite owning one)
-
I must admit, seeing as they have gone to the trouble of improving the architecture then improving the screen seems like a no-brainer but in any case I'll just settle for having a brand new unit with no dead pixels and no scratch on the screen from day one owing to tiny pieces of stray plastic being attached to the outer rim of the lower screen!
-
Ordered... :awesome:
-
So this new fangled headset that all the cool kids seem to be buying these days... ...is it really worth it? Consider that I already have a decent surround setup, I'll still be able to find lots of uses for it presumably? I can see it being useful for night time at least. What about when you use it to chat online as well, does the voice come through one ear or both? Or can you choose...
-
Trust me, you really don't... they are known as the unholy triforce for a reason. But I completely understand you wanting to play them anyway, whe I had the opportunity to purchase a cdi with a load of games for £50 including Link : The Faces of Evil I jumped at the chance and then later I acquired the other two, Zelda's Adventure I got for a very good price from Yahoo Auctions back in the day. Now they only remain in my collection for their value which seems to have increased over time, they certainly aren't there for nostalgia though. I still have nightmares about them sometimes...

It's the legendary Power Glove! : peace: Did all that erm 'stuff' come off the controller/gamepad? Part of me wants to see the after picture of them both looking clean and shiny purely to satisfy my own OCD regarding cleanliness.
-
Well I enjoyed watching Into the Dalek even if no one else did. :p
-
Sharla? You're welcome.
-
If they throw in some extra dlc or some exclusive features then I'll double dip, bought it already on Xbox 360 but I do love me some Peggle! : peace:
