The modern phrase "sorrynotsorry" has probably never been more appropriate. On the one hand I now feel bad as I didn't know you were still in N64 buying mode. But on the other hand... Dreamcast games! The one I had for offer is a pretty good one too but I understand you not wanting to buy it when your funds seem to be more invested in the Nintendo side of things currently, I still thought it only right to offer you first refusal though seeing as the title in question, you were partially responsible for making me want to buy it and I'm glad that I did... I just didn't realise that I'd end up buying it twice. This is what I've been doing recently as well, though I have been buying some Dreamcast games without boxes, as in some were sold with both box inlays - front and back - disc and manual... so they went a bit cheaper and I found a seller who was selling brand new Dreamcast cases in lots of six, £4 a case mind but I'm so glad I bought them now as it means I can put new cases on some of mine plus infuriatingly I have received really rare Dreamcast games through the post just chucked in an envelope with no protection! So a few of the new cases have to be used for those, the damage I'm talking about is the front hinge on the case just breaks clean off due to inadequate packing... it has happened a few times, it's why in some ways if I find a seller getting rid of lots of DC games I tend to buy a few at once as they seem to be packed better. I'll PM you the game I have for offer, it's not in your list and it is a rare one but I won't be asking quite the same as eBay might ask, I'll let you have it for the same price as I offered it to Hero for of course. : peace:

Or PPTSD... Post-Pokémon-Traumatic Stress Disorder I hear it can occur after having to cover Pokémon spin-off games for prolonged periods of time.

Just wait, we'll get everything in August now.

Well said Retro. +1 point It is true though... I try not to take part in it now, well as much as is possible... sometimes it can be hard not to get caught up in certain "discussions" - we'll call them that for now - because while they can become rather circular, it's frustrating to see most of them not go anywhere and end up in the same place. Such is the nature of a forum sometimes though as we thrive on information, once more solid details start to emerge I think this situation will improve. : peace: For now though... haven't you all got home consoles to go to? I know I for one have plenty of games to play/review without wishing for many more, speaking of which... *gets back to it*

That's almost a Freudian slip... From now on I shall refer to them as mini-game complications because at the very least it's a conceptually excellent term. Even for something created by accident.

I honestly don't know what to say MadDog other than I'm really sorry to hear this. It's probably not much consolation but if there's anything that I can do for you then just say or indeed if there is anything N-E can do for you then let us know and we'll do what we can. You're an amazing person, I know you'll likely shrug these words off but it's rare to see someone go through what you have and then carry on as though nothing is wrong... I recall when you originally posted here about what you'd been going through, we'd never have guessed either as the way which you view life is a true example to us all. These might be mere words, I know they can't change things but I hope they are at least of some comfort to you, as I do mean them and if you ever need to talk or are in need of anything then please don't hesitate to let me or anyone on N-Europe know as it's the least we can do for such a great forum member and more importantly a great person as yourself.

I've literally just discovered this after downloading the Dreamcast theme and all the other remaining Sega themes, though I have a feeling I will be keeping it on my DC theme for a while now. I hope that in some way these theme purchases might carry over to the NX, it would be amazing to have an equivalent theme which transfers over. Haha, also... I just opened my 3DS after putting it in sleep mode, it makes the beep followed by the familiar grinding loading sound of the original consoles loading mechanism, that is priceless!

Well I forgot to vote, AGAIN! It really annoys me when they put details up of the Splatfest a week or so in advance and then don't allow you to vote there and then. I work on Saturdays so it feels like a small window to actually register your vote in and even then I'd only be able to play a couple of hours if that, Splat-Fest has become a bit of a write-off for me.

That's terrible news indeed. R.I.P. Akira Saito May your memory live on in those wonderful Sega classics which you were so instrumental in creating.

The N-Europe Super Smash Bros Anniversary Tourney Thread
S.C.G replied to Dcubed's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9PM or later Any week. : peace: -
Wow! That was ridiculously slick. I signed up with my Nintendo Network ID, pressed the button to register, nabbed the verification code from my e-mail and that was it. Though I did also opt to change my password as it looks like by default you don't have one as such, which is OK as you're signing in with your NNID but still, just wanted that extra peace of mind in case it all goes wrong. After that I had the Miitomo sign up page open on a different page, I pressed the button and it signed me up because I was already signed in to my Nintendo Account on the other tab. Very well played Nintendo & DeNA, well played indeed and Thank You again to Satoru Iwata for ultimately making this possible, your great legacy will surely live on as it continues to shape the company on this monumental day. : peace:

Honestly? There is enough offline content alone to justify purchasing it at launch but it will get so much better over the next few months with all the planned free updates. Sixteen characters to start with might not seem that substantial when you compare it with the roster of SFIV but additional fighters will be added, additionally the story mode for each of the sixteen characters is three fights with a hand-drawn narrated scene between each; all of these can be beaten in around 10 minutes or less including the scenes, there will be more of a proper story mode released later on down the line but it gives you enough of a background for each currently available character at the very least plus it gives you a chance to learn about the moves and the fighting system. All of the gameplay seemed spot-on to me from around the three hours or so I put into it, also the new fightpad made for the game by Mad Catz is fantastic, I used to have one for the Xbox 360 but this Playstation version is really good and as a bonus you can use it for both PS4 AND PS3 as well! : peace:

No idea, I didn't realise they were going to reset everything or that it was even such a big issue, I mean if I get a new game in the post early, I'm going to play it. I only played the story mode though, that's offline so... surely not affected? And if it is... well, I've got the trophies for it so you can't take those from me Capcom! :awesome: That post said that it was all to be reverted "within the next few hours" so I take it the reset has already happened? I might check later just to see what's there, if anything but thanks for the heads-up!
-
Why don't we keep it for old times sake? The site is still up afterall so old videos can still be linked to. Was a date even given for the entire Game Trailers site going offline? If it's a while then there's still time to re-watch some classic videos on there at least.

I received my copy early in the post along with my shiny new fightpad, so I played through all sixteen characters which were available to me for use in Story mode. There were no issues for me, though this was on Saturday night though, now that I know there are server issues following its actual release date I may give it a break until it's confirmed that servers are stable again. Probably jusyt as well, I stayed up until gone 5am playing it on the first night! Such an addictive fighter.

Yes Guy, why you no buy Pokken? If Nintendo goes under because you didn't buy your copy of the game, we'll come looking for you*. *Disclaimer - I'm sure it won't come to that and we wouldn't really even if that were the case, well... N-E wouldn't, Serebii might though... possibly, maybe? Probably not. :p In that case, I completely retract the above statement. Enjoy it when you get around to purchasing!

Nice, it's good to see there's that extra bit of personality to the game afforded by avatars. Gives it a bit more of a Pokémon Stadium feel to it even though this is clearly on a different level entirely. : peace:

Sega Dreamcast AND Saturn themes this week! I don't usually get excited about themes but these two additions have made my day.

It's even more amusing when you play the sound effect below from the start of the gif. Audio You're welcome! : peace:

Well, I'm going to turn my Wii U on now, so I can vote on Splatoon while I remember, then I'll be playing some VC games for a bit but while I'm on Splatoon, I could play a few quick games seeing as I've been away from it for a while.
-
Ah I forgot about the Splatfest... again. :/ Didn't vote so that means I can't play, was thinking about it as I hadn't played Splatoon in ages and this one seemed like a good cause to play for. Oh well, I hope everyone has fun anyway, got other stuff to be getting on with I suppose. : peace: Hmm wait, actually is it not actually on until next weekend?

Green version, because Venusaur. But failing that, Blue.
