Capcom comment on the story,
-
Comments like this really, really anger me! ARGH!! Just how narrow minded are they!! - The success of the Resident Evil series and games like Soul Calibre 2 on Gamecube, show there is the audience for mature games. - The Wii is selling like crazy and there will people of all ages, wanting games for all ages! - Other developers are delivering mature titles. - Capcom have managed to produce a survival horror game with Wii controls and in doing so have created the best version. - There's always classic control options!

Well the only Mario Party I've played is Mario Party 1, so any comments about the formula and some mini-games getting old by now doesn't really apply!

When I read that earlier, the way Reggie phrased his answer about third party sales, it sounded like Ubisofts games were around the 500,000 sales mark, which I was surprised about for games like Red Steel and Rayman. However, he must have meant Ubisoft are close to 1 million.

I don't have a Wii yet. My reasons are that 1) I've had a lot of Uni work and therefore not that much spare time to spend on games 2) I'm waiting for more games to be released. If I'd bought a Wii from the start I would probably have also bought a fair few games that I wouldn't have otherwise, just to have something to play; games like Super Monkey Ball, Sonic, Red Steel etc... However now that I've waited a while I'm much more excited about getting a Wii and I can get some really great games straight away. Also, Nintendo's AAA games are much closer now and the Virtual Console has quite a lot to offer. I'll probably get a Wii over the summer. Also thinking about getting a 360 over the summer, now that games like Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect etc... are that bit closer and there are plenty of 360 games to catch up on!

I think there may be a short animation for when the Smash Ball is used, just like how it happens in the trailer with Mario, Link and Kirby. However the latest screens tend to suggest there won't be, with Mario just standing around in-game lit up and ready to use it. Though maybe the animation starts when you activate it! One thing though is Mario's Final Smash seems to be able to attack everyone on screen (if they are in range), where as Link's and Kirby's Final Smash seem to just focus on one player which obviously wouldn't be as effective. Maybe Mario's for example will +100HP maximum to each person (depending on how long they stay in range of the attack) and not necessarily result in any players being Smashed. Where as Link's may +200HP to one player and either Smash them immediately or make them ready for a Smash. Also, why is Kirby's final smash what it is? Couldn't he have had something better like flying up to the edge of space on a warp star and then crashing back down onto someone! Though maybe that's not very Kirby!

There's only one version! and why should it have to have multiplayer? It's not expected from the main FF series. I'd prefer them to focus on a single player FF for Wii to rival that of the main series. Like they said, the multiplayer focus is going into FF:CC Rings of Fates on DS.

The Final Smash is such a great idea! This is gonna be one awesome game! Wonder if as an item it appears just once a match (so only 1 character will ever get to use it), or more than once (but each character can only use it once)? I hope it just appears once for the whole match resulting in a frantic race for the Smash Ball and then as soon as you realise someone's gonna get it, frantically running away from the Smash Ball!!

I agree, I think Final Fantasy is more likely to go multi-platform!

haha, beat yah! Samus can alter her normal missiles though (not the homing gone) before she fires them and they are still quick and long distance weapons. Sounds as though Pit's arrows may be as fast as Fox's blaster! or at least as fast as Links!
-
Normal Special Move: Palutena Arrow Steering up and down will bend the trajectory. His arrows travel as fast as light, though, so be quick. Very quick! Up Special Move: Wings of Icarus In actuality, though, Pit is an angel who cannot ordinarily fly. After a while he will fall, so be careful. Hmm... Pit being able to alter the trajectory of his arrows (is it Samus who can also do that with her missiles?) gives him an advantage over Link. Plus I guess this confirms he will 'fly' like Kirby and have 5 or so hovers.

I thought Assasins Creed was coming out on all consoles at the same time, September isn't it?Didn't think there had been any talk of it being an exclusive or timed exclusive. If anything I thought 360 might get it a little bit before PS3. Well the First-Person parts of the trailer certainly look near identicle to screen shots. Also, So it's likely the game just uses the in-game graphics engine throughout, except for maybe an Intro and End movie.

Don't remember seeing a Sega Saturn before! In terms of design, you can really see how the Dreamcast and the Dreamcast controller evolved from the Saturn and it's controller!

True, but I just kind of feel they get in the way at times.Sometimes I turn some on though. This game is gonna be so awesome!!
-
This game should be awesome! Great that this one has multiplayer and online multiplayer at that!

Hyrule temple is a great level and it's hilarious when someone is around 300% and just ricocheting around! However, I do like the simple levels such as Final Destination. I also tend to fight without weapons, I prefer plain fighting using your skill and talent, mastering your move range.

Could have been real up until the Zelda bit! Zelda Wii probably won't be seen in some form until around E3 2008! That guy got carried away and tried to give everyone what they wanted to hear!
-
Can't wait for E3!! Bring on Smash Bros!! Also can't wait to see more of Mario Galaxy, FF:CC, Resi:UC etc... Are you guys talking about this video? http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=20019&type=wmv&pl=game If so, it's from the PC version and looks terrible in comparison to all other versions!
