That's rubbish! Who would you have replace him? Lennon, Wright Phillips? That's the reason Steve Mclaren dropped Beckham as he thought the new generation would be coming through, but neither have improved considerably! Beckham has never been about speed, but he doesn't need it. And even though it's never been part of his game you can tell he's been working on it because he showed some impressive pace in the Brazil game and out turned/tricked a number of their players. There is no-one better at picking out people for free-kicks, picking out peoples runs and delivering the ball RIGHT to them, switching play to the opposite side etc... And his talent at free-kicks can change a game in an instant. His pressence is everything as well! Any goal keeper will fear a Beckham free-kick! You can tell the majority of players feel happier with him there (Terry was singing his praises all week), and he lifts the crowd! Plus IMO, it feels more like England with Beckham there, he just seems to tie everything together and make England seem more of a force! That may have been a bit of a rant, but I'm tired of people saying Beckham is past it! His form for Real Madrid and the fact he was probably the best player on the pitch against Brazil (though Gerrard also played well) show that he's still at the top of his game! Even Mclaren (after the game), had to admit Beckham was the best right sided mid-field player in the world! So you left him out why?! ...Now Lampard on the other hand!

Why does the Yoshi stage always have to be the book from Yoshi's Story! It was a book in Smash Bros, a book in Melee and now once again a book in Brawl!! What's worse is they put the book from Smash Bros in Melee aswell! So there were two near identicle levels! (where as they could have included a classic like Hyrule Castle!) If the Melee level is in Brawl I won't be happy!

haha, so true! Maybe a stupid question, but can HD-DVD players play standard DVD's aswell? I really hate to think we'll be moving on to ANOTHER format within the next few years! Is that what HD-DVD/Blue-ray is intended to be, the next format? How can the industry expect everyone to buy all their VHS' on DVD and then a few years later buy everything again on HD-DVD/Blue-ray! If that happens surely everyone will go mad!!

Cheers Platty, Do you know how many of the remaining 2008 Qualifiers will be at Wembley? Because if I just get the £45 membership to home games only, I really want to be paying for more than just the England v Germany game! Also, is the general public ballot the only other way to get tickets, or is there a sales hotline? If there's only the ballot, are your chances pretty slim? If there's a hotline, do they sell out almost instantly?

IMO the show got better when Marissa left; it lightened up and went back to being much more like the first series! Yeah Taylor was great!
