I know Vector's the croc and Tikal... well she was Sonic Adventure, but who know's what she is! Froggy ftw! -
We'll get there my man. The thought of doing any more uni/college courses now just isn't really an option for me, I can't spend any more years in limbo. But it'll happen. Too much talent to be wasted!

Urh, I've just been going through part time jobs for the last while. At the moment I'm doing some work for a friend, machine operating and delivering. But I should be doing something creative with my life. I'd love to try my hand at a photography job, but I know there are people out there with degrees in it and all and I don't really know who to approach. It's when I've worked at places in the past, like M&S, and you hear people who say 'I've been here for 20/30 years now' and I just think, oh god that will never, never be me!... I get bored working in those places for 2 weeks... same routine day in day out! Anyways, I'm in danger in going off on a major rant, so I'll stop now! All you asked was... 2010 has to = major shake up year for me!

As me and Shorty discussed earlier in the thread, this game seems to follow the War Within comic series, so that's where they're getting all the design inspiration from I'd imagine. Quite why all the designs are different in that series is way beyond my transformers knowledge, but if anyone has read the story, could you fill us in?

^ Well I'd marry ya. I'm the same though with those last things, and this year I've gotta make steps to change all that, Because also I'm too talented (...I am) to be throwing my life away in any dead end job. Bigger and better things this year for all of us! I'm sure you'll do great in your interview! Fix up, Look Sharp!

Professor Layton and the Curious Village Picked this up for around £12 on Shopto.net and 'my word' what a great game!! Loved it from start to finish. Sure there's a couple of the puzzles seem to cheat you somewhat, but there are some genious ones to make up for ny of those! Great little story, BEAUTIFULLY animated cutscenes, great voice acting... love the characters! Good plot... I did see one of the plot twists coming from a way off...

Cheers Hero, looks very nice indeed!! Megatron's voice is a bit jaring, having recently gotten used to Hugo, but it'll be fine. Who's the giant Decepticon? Is it Devastator?... seemed to have an almost crocodile like head. For that matter, who's the giant Autobot?
-
^ haha nice, what setting did you use to create that? A time lapse or are they overlayed in photoshop?
-
Well you just know they'll just come up with some excuse to keep the character going on anyway... even if we have another huge gap between series at some point, as with the 8th and 9th Doctor.

The seaweed is always greener In somebody else's lake You dream about going up there But that is a big mistake Just look at the world around you Right here on the ocean floor Such wonderful things surround you What more is you lookin' for? Under the sea

^ Yeah they are quite nice, though the Santander logo ruins them somewhat.

^ Yeah actually I am kinda looking forward to see what they can do with a X-Men 'reboot'... and largely because it means Cyclops is back, the most badass X-Men of then all!

[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Retro_Link replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well really that sort of thing would only come from Nintendo's recent tag alone casual market... and if Nintendo are even thinking about trying to please that market with this game, well then they can fuck right off! -
Good to hear there's some potential... though tbh I've become pretty bored of the Spiderman films... partly thanks to Tobey Maguire, Whiney Dunst and generally because of the dreadful Spiderman 3! What a way to ruin a series! Batman and Iron Man are doing it all so much better now, it would really take something special to spark my interests again. What with X-Men going all high school aswell, I'm just not sure I can be all that bothered with such a direction. Will wait and see!

Fernando makes his Ferrarri debut, at Ferrari's annual winter ski thing... Oh noes, I'm sensing more white on the Ferrari's this year, judging by the 2010 race suits. I really don't like that on their cars design, t'is why the '07 car was one of the most beautiful Ferrari's ever IMO! Also,

Does anything actually even happen to him during high school?... I don't understand what they are trying to achieve with this. Yes he gets his powers on a class trip, but Peters life has always been more university based, and on his lectures/interaction with Connors. What is there even for him to do during high school... what ever villian he faces off against will seem a little wierd because surely the characters a bit too young at that point.

WTF at M&L3 (for Australia), that game only came out a while ago!!
-
Oh dear... Spiderman's going all teen... Enter Zac Efron!

Is this franchise more leniant with the rules of basketball?... for example, do you think in this new version they might let you run/move around more (instead of limited steps), because that would loosen the game up a bit. You could 'run' with the nunchuck, 'waggle' the wiimote up and down to bounce the ball, hold 'B' to pause... aim with the pointer at a player/basket, and then motion your throw with different strengths for height/length of pass/shot etc... Whatever they choose... it would need some working on. Actually a lot of it would depend on the perspective they choose, third person or overhead court view.

[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Retro_Link replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
^ Yeah but Nintendo do all of their Sports in those games slightly half assed, they're kind of not much more than advanced playable tech demo's, nearly all of which could actually be improved upon if putting any one of them into a full game. If Red Steel 2 can do First Person swords with arms... Then Nintendo had better not be trying to come up with a story/sidekick to side-step around the issue, because it's going to look extremely lame and lazy on their part! -
I guess EA feel that on the Wii and with WiiMotionPlus they can do with this sports franchise what they were able to do with Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods. Much more immersion, hence the exclusivity... ...but I'm not sure how you do that with Basketball?! I wouldn't have thought they'd draw much inspiration from WSR Basketball, would they?
