Maybe Dixie too? Or they could do some kind of Diddy/Dixie combo character like Zelda/Sheik... where they slap hands to swap in and out :p
-
That's just a photo type background though isn't it?
-
So Olimar stays!... Level looks lovely!
-
Crazy!.... she sings in autotune!
-
You know what he meant :p
-
Maybe this is who's working on the new Metroid, Samus' arm cannon anyone? :p
-
She'd be there too! :p (just bored!)
-
I'd prefer not having a finger constantly taken up by a button.

Is this related to that recent news of a 'secret' game, or games, that were rumoured to maybe be the next 'Wii Fit' type thing that Nintendo want to hold back?
-
I find a run button annoying however.

And you're marrying this woman!! :p China, Bahrain, Spain, Monaco, take your pick! Just keep it quiet

Branching out...A Zelda Fighter and Racer (Ideas)
Retro_Link replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Yep!... A paper Nintendo RPG would be cool, with all characters. -
By the way @Murr you know you're going about this all wrong... Question: Where is there a Grand Prix in April-May... Answer: Bahrain it is :p

Branching out...A Zelda Fighter and Racer (Ideas)

I was enjoying imagining a Zelda racer/fighter... It reminded me of the times on Cube-Europe when you'd just create a random thread like that and imagine the possibilities... where realistic sales and franchise fatigue talk needn't come into it. Just fans designing a game! I believe that's what @Fierce_LiNk was getting at. Have fun on a Nintendo forum FFS! -
The reflections in the Smash Bros trophies is cool! (that's the only game on the list I can associate with... but the others are just mad too!). Should have been Mario reflecting a level he's running through though :p You're right what you say about Prime though, the visor in general was incredible, the condensation the reflection of Samus... at the time it added SO much! and makes up part of the reason why we'll always remember that game and the boundaries it broke! Going that extra mile is sometimes something well worth doing. I think we're getting a bit fatigued from it all at the moment, but someone will come along again and do that extra special little thing that makes their game truly stand out from the crowd. Some game like Metroid Prime where you perhaps don't expect it.

Not so much that, I just find he has a very dull voice :p

Apart from the guy narrating :p

Yeah I'd say how about either... Florida, Aus/New Zealand or Peru (Machu Picchu, Nazca Lines etc...), could also go over to Easter Island.

Miyamoto Talks Zelda, Pikmin, WiiU, Future IP's, Metroid....
Retro_Link replied to Murr's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Exactly! And BAM a new IP and Nintendo character is born and to be used in Smash Bros etc... If Nintendo truly believes in gameplay selling, they'd have done it. Would have been an Epic (no pun intended) new franchise, and probably an instant classic too because of how charming the game would be. They'd have their new 'Pikmin' for the Wii console. -
That location from Iron Man 3 at 0:38. Good thing I've never played one of these games really. If I choose to, this seems like an incredible place to start! Tbh honest though it looks a bit too time consuming :p

haha yeah that sounds good! Items could be contained within pots to smash through :p -
I watched @Eddage play through the original Pikmin and played a little of it myself, I thought it was a fantastic beautiful looking game. I think I kind of didn't mind the day-night limit either, but of course removing it does free up the game for more fun and exploration. I considered getting the sequel myself, but the environments seemed to put me off a bit, quite a few caves, and I didn't think the snowy areas for example had the same wow factor to them (I still think the same of the footage I've seen of Pikmin 3, although maybe that deserves to be seen on the TV and not just Youtube). Also I liked Olimar and wasn't sure about the new guy :p I'd definitely give Pikmin 3 a think, when I pick up a Wii U, but it's not a system seller to me.

I'm not for a second doubting this is a good game, but Famitsu have become more and more of a joke as the years have gone on. I wouldn't even look at their scores now because I honestly don't know how they judge a game anymore. Resident Evil 6 - 39/40

I haven't really gotten a sense of that from what they've shown us of WW HD so far. Not quite sure what he means. Don't make the chain shorter :p that has the potential to bug me. Have the chain spin down uncontrollably fast and clunk on the bottom in a comedy way. Totally agree! It's like Epic Yarn, or the new Yoshi game... they were the perfect opportunity to create a new IP, instead they completely shoehorn in existing characters... to a point where they feel like they don't even really belong in the game, purely I assume from a sales perspective. If they truly believe it's new gameplay that sells a game, then they would have no reason to do this, they would have the balls to sell it as a new IP.
