  1. Ooo, ok. I shall give it a try soon. One thing that is confusing me at the moment is that my weight seems to be standing still, yet I think my shoulders and upper body are in better shape now than they were before. Also, I do think that I have lost a bit of fat from my stomach. Maybe I've lost some weight there, but gained more on my upper body? I don't know. Heh.
  2. I'm thinking of having some of this Porridge lark. I haven't had any for yeeeears. Although, my brother used to eat it every morning, and he seemed like he was on drugs or something. Seriously full of energy. The Crazy. As for the tummy fat: I don't know whether I've lost any or not, haha. It differs day to day. Some days I look down and think...oh, that's better than yesterday. Other days, I look down and think shiiiit, go the other way! I need third party advice. We shall see in 2 weeks time when I see the female. She'll know, I think.
  3. You've bought in Vermaelen (sp?) though, so is he the "replacement" for Kolo? But, that's around about 40 million quid that has been gained from letting go of Adebayor and Kolo, and there's still quite a bit of time for Wenger to bring in some players.
  4. Are you refering to "the nut-meg"? Or is it something else? Also... Aaaaaaannnnndeeeeeeeerrrrsooooooon!! ...has scored his first goal for United, and what a beauty it was. A free kick. The thing is, when he stepped up to take it, I had a feeling today would be his day. You should check the 606 boards, they've gone crazy. Valencia has also scored too. His first on his debut. *I know its pre-season, but it still counts to meeee* The thing with Nani is that if he continues to be called "The Second Ronaldo", then it will just stop him from being his own player. I'm not expecting him to be better than Ronaldo, because that is a very hard act to follow. Also, Kolo Toure has signed for Man City. 4 year deal for 16 million quid.
  5. Haha, well done, Chris. As Gizmo says, it really is Win-Win. It's good that she didn't freak out or anything when you made the pretty woman comment. That's always a good sign.
  6. Dude, that is brilliant. What was her reaction? I take it that it failed miserably, seeing as you posting about it on the internet rather than getting your penis sore from too much sex. Orrr, did it actually work, and then sex took place before the posting of that message? Do tell!
  7. Happy Birthday to RedShell! Many a Mario Kart victory I have celebrated thanks to you. Also, thank you for the sig.
  8. You know, that is what I saw too, but I didn't realise what it was until I saw your post. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. It's an awesome coat. Both of them.
  9. Happy Birthday, Mr. Relation of the Elephant Man. Serebiiiiiiiiiii!
  10. With all this talk on the importance of pre-season: I think the performances are more important than the actual results. When I think of pre-season, I think of it as a way for teams to "gel" together before the new season begins. With Berbatov last season, he didn't go through a pre-season with us, because we signed him so late on. However, had we signed him earlier, I think he would have gelled with the rest of the team a lot quicker, and maybe he would have performed better in the league. Even if some of the perfomances are not up to scratch in pre-season, it's really just a way to get some low-risk games under your belt. The games mean little. It's also a way for the managers and tacticians to try out a few things to see how they work. If they don't work, then you can work out ways to resolve these problems before the season begins. As far as the United pre-season goes, the pleasing thing for me is the way the squad is working together, particularly the attacking line. I feel that it is important for the development of Macheda that he has as many chances to play with the likes of Rooney, Giggs, Carrick and so forth. The same with Nani and Anderson. The more these guys play together, the better the understanding that they will have. I've been pleased with what I've seen so far in pre-season.
  11. I've grown up in Newport, which only got declared a City around 6 or 7 years ago, I think. So, for the most part, it's a town. Then, when I moved to Brighton to study, I saw the awesome features of living in a bigger city. There's a lot more things to do, it seems like there's more "life" there. Plus, there's so many people, so you make new friends and meet people very easily. I haven't had much experience of the countryside. The one thing that I don't like about living in Newport or sometimes being in a city is the fact that it can look quite ugly. Sometimes there is a lot of tackiness that you see in places, and the noises that you hear, and then you realise why people walk around with faces liked smacked arses. My Mum has talked about moving to the countryside, because it's peaceful. So, maybe one day, but I don't think I ever will with my family as it is. They wouldn't like it, and I'm not sure I would too, because I would feel a bit too cut off from the rest of civilisation. At the moment, I still feel very young and want to be able to meet as many new people as possible, and I think it's easier to do that in a bigger town or city, perhaps. But, I think one day when I have a house of my own, I would like to live in a more scenic place, where there's lots of trees and lots of space all around.
  12. Actually, I remember I used to check the football results on CeeFax. I would just leave it on there and let it update itself. I remember one game where it was between United and Arsenal, and we were 2-1 down. Me and my brother had popped to the kitchen to have our tea, so we came back and saw that and thought "nooo." Then, somebody equalised. I think it may have been Giggs. Long Live Teletext, Ceefax!
  13. I feel that if they were a lot more open, maybe the public would have resented the Government less for going into Iraq? The oil reasons, like you said, were being pushed by the media, but if the Government had maybe emphasised more that they were aiming to bring down Saddam and talked about the benefits that they country and the world would have without him, they might have gained more support from the public.
  14. To counter that, I would ask why you'd be in Blackpool in the first place. Any news can always wait til you get home. It's more exciting that way! Build-up, Build-up. GameCentral and Digitiser...wow...suddenly I feel quite old. I have used teletext or viewed these pages in such a long time. *ooo, my Wii's blue light just turned on, how cool.* It's nice for people to be able to have the option to view the stuff on teletext, but maybe they could also put the stuff online, as well? If they don't do that already. Best of both worlds, no? So, Blog aaand Teletext.
  15. I was expecting this to be a hidden track on Muse's new album. But then, I noticed that the first line of Stuwiiiiiii's post didn't include CAPITAL LETTERS FOR EVERY SINGLE WORD. So, that ruled out Muse. To be fair to Stuwii, he's just a bit young and clue-less. He'll look back on these posts in a year's time and think...man...what a tart I was.
  16. DA REACTOR MAKES AAAIR!

    GIVE THEES PEEPLE AAAIR!

  17. I'm playing quite a bit of Fifa08 at the moment. I've dabbled in a couple of other games, too, but at the moment I'm feeling a bit low due to the un-success of the job hunt. So, I've neglected gaming. Fifa just picks me up, though. I'm really missing the football season, but this helps to satisfy my craving somewhat. I think I may pick up the next Pro Evo, depending on if I have a job then or not. There's so many games I want, but I just can't get them due to money. Grand Slam Tennis, Punchout, The Conduit. Gah.
  18. Haha, and without The One, Agent Smith wins! Life isn't that simple, though. It's not like Aragorn is going to not useee an Army of the Dead just to make it easier for the Orcs to win. He plays to win. Just like me. Plus, fucking cave trolls. They're huge. How is that fair?! Back on topic, as Mokong says, it's really not specific to any game. I've had this happen with Fifa08 and Guitar Hero 3, and quite a few other games. It's very rare though, but it's not particularly worrying. It's just some sort of delay, and usually doesn't last much longer than a minute. I've also noticed that when this happens, my Wiimote light turns off. If I press a button, it'll flash a few times, then go off again. But, as the game screen loads up, the player one light comes back, too. I don't think it's anything particularly worrying, unless it becomes more frequent, and if your game doesn't ever load when it happens. If you're there waiting for 30 mins for the game to load...then there's a problem, I think.
  19. I keep looking at the last robot and laughing. It's awesome. Well done, my darling.
  20. Which one are you? Ant or Dec?!

  21. A Weekend in the City is also a brilliant album. The last four songs off that album are really top draw. I still think that Kreuzberg is the best song that they have created. It's rivaling So Here We Are and This Modern Love, which are also two of my favourite songs, but Kreuzberg is so beautifully created. Everything in that song just hits the spot.
  22. That is a quality album, so congratulations on your purchase. I haven't bought any CDs in ages! I'm in need of some new ones, for cheapies.
  23. Ahh, it's a creature that you're fascinated with, but you don't fuly understand. I guess that is where the fear comes from, because you don't know everything or enough about it? I think humans are scared of things that are different, but interested at the same time.
  24. Men are weak when it comes to the females. Oh yeah, definitely. Also, one thing that I find important is the voice, which I think is something that is quite overlooked. The voice can tell you a lot about a person. Ine's got a very nice voice, because it's soft and quite soothing, so it matches her nature. It's pleasant to hear. I think it's something that a lot of people don't pay attention to, or maybe they do but don't notice that they do it. I'm talking more about the softness or harshness of the voice rather than the accent, though. Accents are another thing entirely.
  25. I know what you mean about spiders, but I don't feel a particular threat with me. Whereas, with a rat, I'm terrified of them biting me, or attacking me. So, that's where my fear lies with them, I think. I don't actually know if its likely for a rat to do that, but it's what I fear. So, with a spider, I'm not scared of them because I don't feel threatened. I don't see a spider and worry that it will attack me or cause me harm.
