The hair colour does a lot for me, I think. More importantly, it needs to match the face, like the skin tone, if that makes sense. So, if Ine dyed her hair blonde, it just would look totally wrong. But, the hair colour can help create that darker type of look, I think. The Spanish or Brazilian or continental type of look. There are some girls who are completely the opposite of that, but I find them attractive. Scarlett Johansson is one of them. She's beautiful, but for different reasons. Aww, it's amazing how girls can make you go weak, hehe. They have the power!

There's many things that I don't like about them. First of all, the way that they move. They are fast creatures. Secondly, they are small. So, coupled with their speed, it makes it incredibly un-nerving to know where they actually are. You know look around the room, and you may not see it straight away, and then it'll appear from out of the corner of your eye. I also find them really dangerous. I remember watching the film adaption of 1984, and I was terrified at the scene towards the end of the film which features the rats. The teeth, the hands, the hair/fur and that tail. It's not a creature of beauty, that's for sure.

She just ended up looking quite plain, so maybe we watched something quite similar. This is quite funny, because me and Ine were talking about what we found attractive last night. When you see pictures of Ine, you'll notice she has dark-ish hair, brown eyes and a certain look to her. My friends definitely thought "oh, she's definitely the type of girl you find attractive!" I love the Penelope Cruz look, Natalie Imbruglia, Courtney Cox, girls with darker hair colour. But, I also know people who go for the complete opposite, and they like girls with a lighter complexion, or blonde hair. I know I've had friends who have said "err..." at me when I've talked about the girls that I like. So, everyone does have their different "tastes" or features that they go for. To many people, eyes are important, whilst to others, a smile says so much. But, I know there are many girls out there that people rant and rave about, where as I just don't see it. I know there will be others who look at Penelope Cruz and think "hmm, no." So, it is just down to what you like, or prefer.

In Briiiiiighton or somewhere where it's nice. Most definitely not Newport. On a side-note, I've never actually been to Alton Towers. I want to go one day. Poor-dom sucks.

Haha, I can just see Dan Dare's face right now. I bet he's pulling a face similar to this --> >_< *contorted face* "News threads are craaaaaaap!" Women are getting more beautiful, eh? I remember seeing this program on telly the one time where they "constructed the perfect woman's face" using a computer. So, they fiddled around with the shape of the face, cheekbones, hair, eye colour. It was interesting, and I'd like to see the program again.

I slept for so long this morning, and I had another weird dream. This time it was about me working back in my last placement school, but it was stressful because it was my last day and I had to say goodbye to everyone. It was weird, because part of it actually happened, but part of it was new stuff that hadn't happened. I'm waking up every morning, and I'm vividly remembering my dreams from the night. Maybe I have lots of stuff on my mind? Hmm. I rang up Brighton University to ask about my graduation. I was a bit worried that I hadn't received my tickets yet, but I got told that you pick them up when you're there. Also, there's an extra hall next door to where to ceremony takes place, with a big TV screen, so that other people can watch the ceremony taking place without needing to buy extra tickets, since they've sold out really quickly. A few minutes ago, I got a phone call from a teaching agency that I applied to over the weekend. Basically, they liked my CV and want to register me up, so I'm off to Cardiff for the third time in 2 weeks, heh. Going on Wednesday to sign up my arse.

I do agree with that. Maybe it is to do with mis-management, and how its not being used in the right way. I'd like to be able to work for Oxfam or a charity that deals with helping people in Africa so I could actually see for myself how this money is used. I bet it would be an eye-opener one way or the other.
-
That was an sad story to hear, Iun, and I bet it wasn't easy to share because it must have been a harrowing time for you. I guess that's one problem or danger with charities, you just never know where the money is going or what is going to be done with the money. How much of the money is actually being used on people who need it? You just don't know. What are the ways around this? I guess being shown or told where the money has gone, and actually seeing it being put to good use. That's the only way I can think of right now.
-
I know how you feel about charity, and some of the reasons are things that I have thought about over the last few years. Plus, there are so many out there. How do you know that the money you are putting aside is going to a good cause? How do you know that it's going to be used effectively, or will it really be used to make a difference? Do we only do it to clear our own conscience, so is there a hint of selfishness in this self-less act. Over the past few years, I have given money to quite a few places. In the past, I have been a dead sucker for talking to charity workers on the street. The problem is, I am totally rubbish at saying no to people, or letting people down. So, quite often I have stopped to talk to people about the cause they are talking about, and have then given money. I've given money to Cancer Research, and also to Save The Children. There have been a few others which have also received some funds from me, but then I had to stop these as things were really difficult, especially with me not having an income other than my student loan. They were good causes, and I did think that the money was going to good use, so I'd like to continue giving money to these charities and organisations again.

Ah, I guess you're right. Judging by the size of the rat we caught...it wouldn't have been practical. The traps we had were on a kitchen unit next to a toaster, and in a cupboard. It really would have been hard to fit it in there.
-
We did use some humane mouse-traps when we first discovered the problem. Then, our landlord after about 2 weeks came back to check the traps and found that the rats were rats and not mice, and that the traps he had bought were complete crap. In the end, I think he just bought some cheap traps, two I think, and placed them down in the hope of catching something. Then, he filled up the holes that we found had been leading to next door. The rats had actually been traveling as far as three houses over, that we know of. Little devils. Don't know why he didn't opt for a humane rat trap, seeing as he opted for a humane mouse trap in the first place.

Spiders are strange, but I wouldn't say that they scare me. Now, rats on the other hand, rats scare the shit out of me. In my student house last year, I came downstairs one morning and saw that the bags of flour on the side had been clawed open, with huuuuge mounds of flour on the side. It looked like Liam Gallagher's house party. The next day, I was downstairs in my friend's room, and we heard the rats scuttling inbetween the floorboards in the kitchen above us. We placed traps around the house. One evening, we were all in the living room, and we heard a sound in the kitchen. It sounded like a toaster had just popped up, but it also sounded like a trap. The four of us ventured into the kitchen, and checked the trap by the toaster...nothing. We looked around the kitchen. One of my friends then remembered that there was a trap in one of the cupboards underneath the sink. She opened it slowly, and she saw blood on the top shelf. Then, when she opened the door fully, the rat fell to the floor. It was inches from her foot, and inches from mine as I was next to her at the time. That was it. It set me off, and I shouted the cry of "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!" and pointed! We were all terrified and ran out of the room. Then, one of my housemates went back in there to put the rat out of its misery, and that was it. The blood though...fucking hell.

That's one thing that I thought. The other is the conflicts taking place abroad. It's a way to get people into the army, therefore off the dole. Clever idea.

Having that call-centre experience is good, I think. It helps you come into contact with so many different people. Plus, it's good work experience. It'll help you if you're ever stuck for work, because there are a lot of call-centres out there. I've worked in...*counts* five, I think. Looks good on a CV, heh.

You mention about the assists, yet Berbatov was joint second in the league for highest number of assists. He scored 9 league goals in his first season, three behind Wayne Rooney. It wasn't an amazing number of goals, and I think it was a season where he didn't feel entirely settled in the squad. He and Tevez weren't guaranteed places in the side, especially with Fergie tinkering and playing Ronaldo as a striker in a few games. But, the assists show that at least he contributed to the team play. Still, he plays a little too deep for my liking, but if he's setting others up to score...then, I don't really know.

I'm a lot better these days. I try to be a bit more reserved before I say stuff...damn.

Well, they had quite a few line-up changes. The first lead singer died, as well. So, people can be forgiven for not knowing who is actually a member. I guess. Still, I thought he was an awesome guess. A nice guy, passionate about cars, and funny. Good guest, I thought.

*I unwillingly take the shovel* In my student house, somebody bought me a stool to sit on. It was called my "perve stool." Basically, everytime I said something that was inappropriate or pervy, I had to sit on it. I made a mockery of that stool though. It became my bitch. Screw you, stool.

Sorry, Miss Wolf. Although, in fairness, it was just initially about you watching hot females with beach bottoms on the telly. Sorry, though.

You could always move over here? No? Ok.

I only thought of it as a reflection when Dyson said it was. But, going on what Dog-amoto saw, I see the same thing as him.

Look at the image. It looks like a girl is bent over, wearing yellow pants. Kinda like this image: Think about how the girl is standing. It's the same sorta pose as the reflection.
