  1. Why don't YOU tell us? Hahahah. I think we need someone to give you a lavender massage, Mr. Hero of Time. If that is your real name.
  2. Haha, that's what I saw! And, Balance Board. This game has eveeeerything.
  3. Did anyone see the Everton-Chelsea game yesterday? I watched it this morning, and Saha gave John Terry a horrible, horrible time. I can't think of a time when I saw one person give him so much grief. He looked very tired and slow.
  4. Congrats on the work, chaps. I've had an excellent day. Today is my day off, and I got a call from my Agency asking if I fancied working in the afternoon, but would understand if I didn't want to because I had stuff planned for today. So, I turned eet down, and they were fine, so life was good. Then, got a phone call directly from a school asking if I fancied coming in for the afternoon, so I turned them down telling them that I had stuff planned for today, so they were fine. Finally, I got a third phone call, but I missed it as I was in the shower. It was from another Agency I work with, saying they had some information about a vacancy. I rang them back, and the female named Hayley picked eet up: "Hi, yeah, there's a vacancy...at Marshfield Primary School." "ooooo!" "Yeeees. It's for somebody to cover the class teacher every Thursday and Friday until Easter-" "YEEES! GIVE EET TO MEEEE!" "haha, ok, it's yours!" Apparantly the school wanted me and gave me first choice on that. It means I've got 2 days a week guaranteed, which is great - no having to worry if work will be coming in for those days. So, the other three will be filled by other bookings, last minute work, etc. Foot through the door. I've been getting positive feedback from each school I've been in, and it looks like it's starting to pay off now. I'm hoping that if I do a good enough job for those weeks, maybe something more permanent or long term will come up. Also, I'm also going to ask the school if this will count towards my NQT Year, which would be a massive fucking bonus if it does! Although it doesn't sound like much, it's more of the fact that I feel that I've earned this. To have a school ask for you especially is a great feeling. I'm a bit more optimistic about getting a full time post before the Summer now. (I ran around the house, beating my chest infront of my Mum (and cat) and let out a huge war-cry.) Also, 2 minutes after that, Ine's final birthday present came, the day before I leave to see her. Last minute! I almost made love to the Postman for bringing theees gift to meeee. After that, I popped to the gym, knackered out my man-tits and bought new clothes.
  5. When they say a Remake of Extraction, what do they mean? I mean, it's not a straightforward port of the Wii game onto the other consoles? It seems very, very unfair for them to just release that as 15 dollars, whereas Wii owners were charged full price. We'll have to see. I don't particularly care as I love the game anyway. Great game.
  6. Hurrah for lazy days. Time does fly, I was in 6th form aboutttt...*counts*..5 or so years ago. Whaaaat? I feel old now.
  7. Aye, definitely, I know how to get there now. I think it's possible to get there by train too, although I caught the bus that day. I waited 40 minutes outside on the main road for a bus after school. Was freezing.
  8. From HMV, for 3 quid. I also bought a bottle of Fanta because...whenever I go to work or the gym, I take my old fanta bottle filled up with water with me. But, I lost it yesterday, so I needed to buy a new one. I like the shape of the bottle...it seems quite feminine. As in it reminds me of the body of a female.
  9. I don't think you'd have been too impressed if I rang you at 7 in the morning asking if you fancied a pint! Also, I left the school at about 4 and was shattered, so just wanted to get home and have a shower. It was in Undy, so not quite in Caldicot, but pretty close to eet.
  10. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalf Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerm! Technically it starts Friday, but that's when I'm off to see Ine. And, I have no work planned for tomorrow, so tomorrow is my day off before my big day of travel. I'm absolutely tired from work and travelling to work, I feel like I've been everywhere. Newport, Marshfield, Cardiff, Aberdare, Caldicot/Undy, Trefforest...I've earned my rest, I think! Work has been great this half a term. Apart from the two weeks at the start which was marred by the snow, the four weeks or so after that have been piled with work. To my knowledge, I have received work for every available day this term bar three days. Giving that I had fuck all in the month before Christmas (1 day in about 4 weeks...) this has been a great result.
  11. Can't believe Nani got himself sent off, after all his hard work in the last few games and earning himself a starting place. Dangerous tackle, Ref did the right thing, and I don't think he had much choice. However, our response after that was great. Never gave in, and we probably looked just as dangerous with 10 men as we did with 11. Also, well done Mr. Louis Saha. (God, I miss you...)
  12. Congrats, Soag. You should be true to your name and dress up as a goat on the big day. Or rather, the Shadow of a Goat. Yes. Paint yourself black, whilst wearing a goat costume.
  13. Keep your bluddy knickers on! *look at picture* *bends over*
  14. Aww, but then I am also your male, so balance is restored. Also, you don't whine that much. Your thing is that you are insanely creative and artistic. And, a bluddy great cook. Plus many other things. Well done on being great! My thing is thaaaat I...don't really have one. I don't think much of my actual personality comes across that much through posting, so I probably seem a bit boring. I go through bouts where I'm serious the one moment then DO EEET! GET OUT OF DER! THERE ARE PEEOPLE TRYING TO KEEL YOU, GET DOWWWN! I behaved myself when I met Jayseven, though, and Ine for the first time.
  15. Coolness, is that facial hair that I can see? The boy hath become a man! Also, you would make a brilliant advert for colgate. Aaaand, in the background, that symbol with the slipping man keeps cracking me up. It's like you're advertising danger.
  16. Hahahaha, I Know Who Killed Me is brilliant. If you could describe that film in one word, it would be ARSE. Definitely one of the worst films I've seen, and I didn't even have the heart to watch it all the way through. Avoid like genital herpes. The Spirit isn't great, though. I can't believe I got tricked into seeing that. What a con.
  17. There's definitely been a few games over the years that I've loathed or hated at first but then came to love it. Even with films, Waterworld (I chose that example for the theme) definitely got a "...that sucks" from me the first few times around, but now I like it, although in a different way than nature intended, haha. There's still time, I do want to like it. But, who knows. Another example is A Link To The Past. I didn't connect with it when I initially played it. But then, I went back to it quite some time later and loved it the next time around. Certain things that annoyed me in the first place didn't annoy me the second time around. So, your circumstances when you play the games are important, too. You never know, I may go back and dislike The Wind Waker more next time.
  18. Yeah, I know what you mean. The game just seemed a bit too slow paced for my liking, and I didn't enjoy the nautical theme/sailing. Maybe one day it'll click with me, but I found it a bit boring. Brilliant fight at the end, though. They're both stylised games in different ways. I think the Wind Waker is more of a typical Nintendo-looking game than Metroid Prime is, you can instantly look at the Wind Waker and say "ah, Nintendo." So, yeah, I agree with you on that one.
  19. A console is really only as great as its games. So far, I've really enjoyed the Wii, probably more so than the Cube. I think the Wii has been a great evolution or step up from the Cube...at least to me anyway. The library of games is a lot larger on the the Wii than it was on the Cube, but the category that I feel is getting overlooked is the Racing genre. There's not enough quality racers on the Wii, and there weren't nowhere near enough on the Cube. Probably the same situation with regards to fighters. Off the top of my head, I think there's more shooters available now than there were on the last console. Saying that, I don't think the N64 had that many quality fighters. So, to me, providing we still get quality games, I'm happy. There's plenty of quality out there, the difference compared to the Cube and possibly the other consoles is that it is less "in your face." How many people had heard of Little King's Story, or Zack and Wiki, for example? These are games that only a certain audience know about. The World and his Wife know about Super Mario Galaxy. I like the Wind Waker, but I really am confused about its popularity. It doesn't deserve half of the recognition it receives, in my opinion. As for the definitive Gamecube game, Metroid Prime has to be up there. Made the jump from 3rd person to 1st in such style, and it really is a piece of art.
  20. I was thinking the same thing about Clichy...why didn't he stay on the back post? Throughout the whole game, I think I counted about 3 headers that Arsenal won in the Chelsea box. The whole game was this: - Arsenal win the ball in the middle - Arsenal drag the ball out wide - Arsenal whip a ball into the box - Chelsea clear the danger Repeat for 90 minutes. If the game plan was for Arsenal to launch so many balls into the box, then why wasn't Bendtner playing through the middle instead of Andrey Ankle-Height Arshavin?
  21. Happy Birthday, Mudkipz.
  22. Haha. The game against Pompey started off slowly, and they had a good chance or two to go ahead, more notably the one where Jonny Evans cleared a shot off the line. But, today was not their day. I'm worried for them because I'd like them to stay up, but they didn't seem to have that belief there today. It reminded me of the game we had against Wolves, where I think they were expecting to be beat before the game actually started. But then, they were playing United who had just beaten Arsenal and City...not the best time to play them. They really could've done without the game today. On another note, Carrick really has been putting in the performances lately. I think the team has been playing better, and Rooney is on a brilliant run at the moment. It was also pleasing to see Nani playing, and he even put in another good performance whilst out on the left. I'm hoping Arsenal get something against Chelsea tomorrow...come onnnn!
  23. There's a mode similar to that in AvP2, I think. Survivor, or Hunt, where if you kill the other person, you "switch races." Very fun. I hope they keep the Overrun mode or Evac, which are both fun as hell. Evac is great, got such a vivid memory of the first time I played that. Can't remember the map, but it was set in a hive or sewer type of place, kinda like the one Newt falls into in Aliens (murky water, with railings and ladders and platforms on the walls). You have one team which are trying to get evacuated, and the other team preventing that team from being evacuated. The Evac team were the Marines, and the aliens were trying to stop us escaping that colony. So very fun, we were all huddled together in a group, moving slowly, trying to ensure that we all made it out alive. If you die, you're out until the next round. I remember in one game where I was the only one able to make it to the Evac zone. Best moment of my life.
  24. This means you have survived in life without having to watch tv during working hours. This also means you have won at life. I remember I had a day off work once, and turned the telly on to see what was on at around 10 or so o'clock. Never again. This David Dickinson is alright though, I can stand him. Except this:
  25. I'd rather it was done at the start, though. If anything, I think it might lose momentum? How many people will download the first episode but then don't/opt to not get the second or third episodes?
