  1. I hope you can spank their arses, Dysonia. Fuck them well and truely up the arse. Do it for yourself, boyo. Do eet naawww.
  2. I can't believe Kuyt hasn't been "found out" yet. Basically, his hardworking attitude has papered over the cracks. He does a decent job, but in no way should he ever start over a more natural wide player such as Yossi. He's a big money buy being played out of position to justify his price tag. Rafa likes playing this 4-2-3-1 system with Torres up front, which means that the only way to play Kuyt is to either have him up front instead of Torres (unless Torres is unfit, this is never ever going to happen) or play him out of position on the wing. Maybe if Kuyt played in that middle three and played further up, so just a bit short behind the striker, then that would work. But, of course, that's where Gerrard plays, and I don't think he would want to play either wide left or right. He does a decent job, but I think the guy is getting far too much praise.
  3. Really enjoyed the Arsa-Barca clash. Can't believe it finished 2-2. At half time, I was expecting Barcelona to finish the game 6-0 or something daft. What I admire about them is that they have much more to their game than simply the "passing game" that everyone rants and raves about. The two goals came from simple balls over the top, but they chose the right move at the right time. They can pass the ball, then can certainly win it back when they lose the ball, they can cross it effectively from wide positions and they can play a ball over the top of the backline. Much more than simply just passing it around into feet. I thought Song was really up for it in the first half, and it's just a shame he got moved to centre-back, because he was one of the only ones hustling and hassling Barca in the first half. I agree with Ramar, Walcott and Almunia (in the first half) gave some great performances. Also can't believe that Puyol got himself sent off...a great game. Now, the Chelsea clash on Saturday: Looks like Rooney will be out for around 2-4 weeks, so will most definitely miss the game on Saturday. If Owen was fit, I wouldn't be an emotional wreck, but that isn't the case. I think we'll most probably go 4-3-3 with Berba up top. This will work as long as he stays in the box and doesn't drop deep. We need him to stay in the box and give the ball to Valencia to whip it in. That's the difference between the first half and second half at Bolton. Second half he stayed in the box and didn't drop deep as much, and as a result bagged two goals thanks to some great midfield play. Cmaaaan Berba.
  4. My sweeeetest frieeeend. Everyone I knowww Goes a-way In the endddd. You are a racist, madam! I had my last day at the school yesterday. The staff gave me a card, a bottle of wine and chocolate. Question: Can I take the wine on the Eurostar with me, in my bag? Or will the Eurostar Police go all "He's Asian...smuggling suspicious sheeeeet into other countriesss!"
  5. I resent my name change. But, she'll be laughing at this one. Happy April Fools Day, You Mother Frakers. Great work.
  6. Looks bluddy fantastic. I don't mean graphically, I mean in the sense that it looks like it's dynamite to play. Can imagine this being very fun. So excited for this.
  7. I agree most of what you were saying and I knew we were on the same side. Make love not war, sucker. You never know, it might just prove to be a slow burner, as a fair few might pick it up when the price drops. Saying that, I paid 30 quid for mine. 30 quid for a quality game and a motionplus is a bargain. Even if you don't want to use the motionplus for other games, 30 quid for a new game isn't too bad. I think I paid around 25 or something for Silent Hill, so it's around the same. Haven't played this tonight as the football was on. Gonna sleep and play some more tomorrow, when I'm feeling fresh...after work.
  8. They were a lot more controlled in the first half, and hit Bayern on the counter quite well. They were being defensive, but it was working in the first half, until the last 5 minutes or so where Bayern finished strongly. They didn't have control in the second half. Rooney will be fine, although I'm not sure if he'll be alright for Saturday. Probably will be, but we won't know until the morning. All in all, it must have been a good game for the neutrals. Very open, chances at both ends, and entertaining. The away goal was the important thing, getting a win would have been brilliant, but I would have taken a score draw or a narrow loss beforehand
  9. I don't think there's much in the rumours, but you never know in football. Stranger things have happened. Awful second half from United. Completely over-run, sloppy and careless. Van Der Sar has kept us in the tie. Still, the important away goal will be very handy for next week, and we can win it at home. Fair play to Bayern, they went for it in the second half and got what they deserved.
  10. See, I thought the backtracking would annoy me, but I'm not all that bothered by it. I would have liked the first cutscene to have been playable, like the truck scene that you mentioned. I was expecting some sort of quicktime event but nothing happened. Then, when you "save" Jian, I was expecting some sort of fight, but it was just a cutscene. A little disappointed at those bits. The controls and gameplay during fights really are excellent, though. Absorbing is the right word for it.
  11. I can't put this sucker down. Played a bit more after dinner...which meant I did none of the work I had planned. Really like it. Love it, even. Love the setting, the controls, the sound, just about everything. The Guillotine move is great and I'm whoring that. Where do you think it lacks polish or quality? I think I could probably name an area or two, but just curious about what you think first.
  12. It's not that ridiculous when you think about it. You hear all this talk of a lack of mature third party releases in genres that Nintendo venture into. This is a high quality survival horror title being primarily developed for the Wii. What's more, I don't think this has ever appeared on a Nintendo system before. You're right, the series has never sold as well as Resident Evil for example, but the game could be doing a lot better if more gamers were actually giving it the attention it deserves. My point was that people were drooling over mock-ups and boxarts of games that won't be released for many months, whilst other important games are available right now. The first game sold over a million, and judging from impressions and reviews, this is a much more polished product. Sure, some will be put off by the first, but this has very little relation to the first, apart from the name. Again, it's a high quality third party title in a genre that Nintendo do not want to venture in. Clearly there is a market, because the first game did well. So, why isn't this one selling? I understand the argument about the name, but I don't completely buy it. The "best game" is subjective, though. An 8.5 score for a game is a really, really good score...as is an 8. I'm sure I've seen 9s for Silent Hill and maybe a few for Red Steel 2. But, if an 8.5 game isn't regarded as "one of the best games" on the system, then third parties should just shut up shop and go home. That type of score means that the game is a very high quality product. Isn't that what we want, High Quality titles with variety? You're right, gaming is expensive, but with the Wii there is definitely a reluctance for people to splash their cash. People are never skint whenever there's a new Zelda, mind. I do think there's a different breed. By Nintendo gamers, I mean people who solely buy Nintendo developed or published games. The people who never buy third party games. There is a different breed who will happily buy Little King's Story or Dead Space Extraction, or even games like The Conduit. ~ ~ ~ Played about 2 hours of the game. Love it. Can't wait to play more.
  13. I think you're being a bit unfair on it. The word crap doesn't even come into my head when I think of that film. Although, whenever I watch this film, I am just reminded of how much better the first film is. The soundtrack in this is massively overused. Why repeat the same piece over and over?! The first film had such a varied soundtrack. I thought the useage of the John Murphy piece at the start with the house + lake scene was absolutely brilliant. But then, they use the same piece throughout...gah, it really does get annoying on repeated viewings. There were some nice ideas in this film, but they recycle a few things from the first that just don't need it. Such as the "I'mma stick my fingers in yer eyes" part. Just leave the original be. I did however love the field scene and the scene which follows afterwards with the "fire-men." If the original is a 9, then I think your score of 6.5 is pretty fair. I'd give it the same.
  14. Mine came this morning with the MotionPlus+, so quite excited to play it later, but also have a little work to do, too. Why has this sold so ineffectively? Simple. Take a look at the Mario Galaxy 2 thread. People have spent a whole month arguing what they think the final boxart of the game will look like. In that time, Silent Hill and Red Steel 2 have both been released. Two very big third party games which clearly have had a lot of work put into them. If anything, this just fuels the notion that Nintendo gamers only really care about Nintendo's games. If the gamers actually stopped for a moment and paid some attention to these games which are getting criminally overlooked, then maybe all this stupid talk of the Wii lacking quality games would stop. Or, you can ignore all what I have said and wait for MARIOOOO ZELDAAA.
  15. Own Goal. He's been on fire this season. 11 goals already! (How many own goals have the opposition scored in favour of United this season? 11. )
  16. Not sure if TeeDee will agree with you there! Don't think many Sunderland fans will want to talk about that one. It was lovely, though. Before today, Nasri's goal yesterday was my goal of the weekend.
  17. I've never been a fan of Family Guy, even before that South Park episode where they made Family Guy impossible to watch. But, heh, I chuckled a little at that. That would definitely explain the thinness of the lady's legs. I leave for Belgium on Saturday, so I've got a final week to make myself sexy (uhh) before I get there...
  18. Own Goal has been brilliant this season. Apparantly Real Madrid are thinking of offering 70 million euros for him, but I hope we can fend them off. The service into the box is much, much better this year. No doubt about it. Last season we wasted so many corners and we didn't score enough goals from crosses or balls into the box. This season, Valencia has really helped us improve in that respect. Nani has been improving with his decision making, so he's now becoming effective from the wider positions. They're key now. Then you've got the likes of Park, Giggs, Neville and Evra who can also provide some good crosses. Our most improved aspect this season. Now, we just need to find a proper freekick taker. Dunno why Wayne is still taking them...not sure if he's even scored directly from one this season.
  19. Very shocked at the Villa scoreline. I was watching Soccer Saturday at the time and Chelsea were unstoppable in that second half. Malouda is looking better and better with each game, but I hope he doesn't turn up next week. Chuffed with yesterday's result. It could quite easily have been one of those games where Bolton frustrated us for 90 mins and earned themselves a draw. The goal in the first half definitely changed things. I thought Berbatov and Nani were outstanding yesterday, looked very special. Van Der Sar and Vidic were fantastic, too. Looked very tough to beat.
  20. If anybody wants me, I'll be in the corner. The code works, people. Embrace eet. One day, you will learn. I just thought of another one: When people say "Oh My Days/Daze/Dayz." Hate it.
  21. I'm probably guilty of that, so I apologise to you now. I think by saying it and dragging it, you are showing the appreciation for something that is funny. "Haha" would be the one that gets mostly used, as I save the "aaaaahahahahaha" one for something that tickles me. I mean, it would have to be something very amusing to get that one. It depends how easily amused that person is, I believe.
  22. In real life, I think I laugh something like "aaaaaaahahahahahahahahha." Or at least, when I'm mocking somebody, or something. That makes more sense to me than "haha." I'm with Dan on this one.
  23. To be fair is ok, if it's used about once a month or something. But, when it's used every ten minutes, then the stabbing is justified. OH! I've got another one, but it's different. When people give kisses in text messages or facebook messages by the hundreds. "I LUV U BABY! xxxx xxx xx x x x x xxx xxx xxx xx x x x x x x x xxxxxxxxxx x x xx xxxxx" Stick to the fucking code The Code: One Kiss for a male friend or a female who you are not entirely friends with. Somebody you walk past and say hi, for example, but never properly speak to them or know much about them. Two Kisses for good friends. People you trust, are close to, etc. Two kisses can only be used with a guy friend if there is a man crush involved. Three Kisses for the person that you love. At a push, this can be used for your best friend. Use sparingly if that is the case. NO MORE. There is none of this 4 or 5 or five hundred kisses bullshit.
  24. When used in parody or satire, I can deal with them. But, watching a game and hearing these phrases often does kill my erection. Taking the piss with them is fine, though.
  25. Lucky sucker. Today/Tonight, I saw the skinniest legs I have ever seen in my life. I was taking a little break after my swim, so decided to sit in the steam room for a few seconds. A lady was lying down in there, and...it just looked quite scary. Very skeletal. A bit odd because the guy she was with was a bit of a fatty. Dunno how that works. Trying to up my cardio at the moment and I'm quite enjoying it. The Cross Trainer and I are in a deeply committed relationship. The downside to tonight is that the back of my foot (the heel-ish) has blisters from my crappy shoes. So, they hurt a little bit when I put my shoes on. Nooo.
