  1. Happy Birthday, Welshy. Welllshyyyy.
  2. Days like that are almost a write-off. Nobody really understands unless they see it for themselves. The anarchy!
  3. Sorry you're not with her any more. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but if things were the other way around and she was the one who didn't "care" what you did, would it bother you? I think part of being in a relationship sometimes is that you want the other person to be a part of your life. Maybe not all the time, you don't have to go overboard with it. For example, maybe that's why gamer girls are quite highly regarded by us mans, because it's hot having a girl with the same interests as you. When you were with her friends, did you ever make the effort to talk and socialise? It's quite a hard to do.
  4. I would laugh all my way to the moon if it turns out that somebody is bribing Fernando Torres to play this badly. "Reports indicate that these bribes have been going back for years." I can see eet naaw.
  5. I'd much prefer to have the Gamepad affect the gameplay in a unique way, rather than just used as an additional screen for off-tv play. There will be games that will show the benefits of both, but the ability to use the touch screen and maybe use the screen as a "window" (like scanning a boss in Metroid Prime) is the exciting thing about it. Gameplay should always come first. Convenience is important, but as long as the "comfortability" isn't being compromised by playing with unique features, it shouldn't really be an issue. The off-tv play sounds good, but to me it's not really a massive feature. It reminds me of DVD extras. It's there, but I doubt I'd ever really need it.
  6. That's a good idea, although I'd swap it around so that the first person viewpoint is on the Upad and the third person/character is on the tv screen. Seems to make more sense that way? Probably works better for Metroid. A platforming Metroid with this ability would be sheeeeeeeeeeeeet hoooooot. I have no idea what Nintendo are going to for Mario. I had no idea before Galaxy, and that turned out to be a beast. Maybe the touchscreen will be used to "grab" objects like the starbits. Maybe you could play just on the screen, although I doubt that'll be the key feature. I hope they allow you to be able to enjoy the game fully in single-player, and not HAVE to play in 2 player to really appreciate it.
  7. Shocking, really. Conspiracies, in England? Italy called, they want their headlines back. This one is going to run for a long while.
  8. Wow, The Lone Ranger looks awful. I remember watching it as a kid and it was alright. But this, wow...
  9. It is clever, but infuriating if you just use the free version. In fairness, Spotify itself is fantastic, so I probably should just take the plunge and pay for it. Think the adverts are on every third song...sometimes, if you are really unlucky, you'll get a double-advert. If you're extra unlucky, it'll be the same advert twice!
  10. Yeah, I hear them on Spotify. The free version. (I r poor) Also, youtube.
  11. @Haden, fancy a rematch at Le Stade de Draag? I've sent you an invite. Can't wait to start the new season. Just want to crack on now.
  12. Had a feeling that the game would be good, so decided to watch. Liverpool were excellent, best I've seen them in a long while. City were never going to score in that second half, never even got close to the goal. When Liverpool went 2-1 up, it wouldn't have been all that surprising if Liverpool then went on to get another. Reina's fuck up was spectacular. So obvious what was going to happen as soon as he came out of the goal. Cost his team two-points.
  13. Newcastle have brought well in the January market. They needed to, really. If anything, it's good for morale to know that good players are coming in to the club to help out. Chelsea are no longer solid or difficult to beat. I remember seeing them under Mourinho and thinking that they were tough. If you scored a single goal, you were lucky. They received a label for playing "boring" football, but you can't fault their defensive work. These days, they get carved open by everyone. They also don't have a Drogba who terrorises defences like he had done in the past. Ba is good, but Drogba was just on a completely different level. This season shows just how good a job he did for Chelsea.
  14. OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Fuck. Almost in tears listening to that. It's like going back in time and being a student again. Beautiful.
  15. Great to watch the 6 nations again, although I was disappointed by Wales' first half performance. Didn't get going at all, and made it too difficult a task to accomplish in the second. England were more clinical. Enjoyed seeing their game. Looking forward to seeing how they play against Ireland. I fancy Wales to put in a better performance against France, should be a close game.
  16. I concur, you're right. It's worse. :p
  17. Close game against Fulham, thought they defended really well for most of it. As the game dragged on, I was worried about them scoring from a corner, but luckily Rooney got the winner. Very different to the cup match the other day.
  18. Still not a huge fan, but I can live with it then. Seeing them used all the time, especially on facebook and forums just annoys me, seems needless for the majority of the time. Another thing: People who "like" their own status or posts on facebook. It's the same as voting for yourself in a competition, very lame.
  19. It's not really as simple as it seems. When a teacher goes off sick, the school either hands over your class to somebody else (usually the classes double up) or they get in a supply. Can't remember the last time we had a supply at our school, usually the first resolution is the one that happens. In our junior school, we have 6 teachers, with 4 of them ill. So, in a way, you're forced to go in, because otherwise you'd have 2 teachers covering for 6 separate classes, which I guess isn't unfair. Only reason I went in is because of that reason, not knowing if there would be anyone available to cover them.
  20. Not sure if it's been posted already, but Hashtags. Hate them. Especially seeing people use them on forums or facebook. Actually, anywhere.
  21. Feel mega-ill/shit at the moment. Went into work yesterday, against my better judgement and about 3 or 4 people who I closely work with are in a similar situation. Head feels like it has been smashed with a mallet, throat is sore and it hurts to raise my voice, my nose is blocked and my entire body feels tired/drained of energy. Hate feeling this way.
  22. Well, that might improve with the fact that you've brought somebody in to replace Santos. :p
  23. We were dreadful in that second half and can't play a full 90 minutes of good football. Only reason we're 7 points clear is the signing of Van Persie. Without him, it would be much closer, maybe even with City in front. It's exciting, yes. Looking at Arsenal's attacking players, I'd be surprised if they didn't make up the difference now, though. Walcott's on form, Giroud has also made an impact, and then there's the likes of Cazorla and Podolski.
  24. Unbelievable that Spurs didn't get a striker. But, it was to be expected. I said the same thing in the Summer only to have Dazzy throw a list of names, claiming that "oh, we'll just get these players in January." They were never going to happen. The Damaio deal was nowhere near being completed, Spurs made a token offer that was never going to get accepted. Can't see them finishing 4th. I expect Arsenal to push on and take their spot now. Could even see Everton or Liverpool finishing above Spurs. One long term injury to Defoe and that's it, it's over.
  25. Oh my shit, I feel so craaaap. Throat is terrible, head is banging and I alternate between freezing and boiling. Fucking hate being ill. I want to liiifffftttt.
