I've already fucked up there. Tried doing the same thing two minutes later, from roughly the same location, and ended up slicing it/barely touching it.

Xpert 11 Season 26: Space to move, Space to breath, Space to win

I fucked up in the derby. Was winning up until the 83rd minute and then lost it. I made two substitutions and brought on two youths as replacements, which proved to be a foolish move in a game of this magnitude. Am cry. -

I reckon it'll be a 2-2 draw. Can't see me winning this one away, not with my current squad of players. I'd happily take a draw tomorrow. -
Holy shit, this is incredible. The charts are still going! I haven't followed it since about 2003. Thought it had stopped by now.

What are fondant potatoes? They look like roast potatoes but different in some way.

Yeah, retailers clearly aren't happy with it. The ASDA near me doesn't even sell the WiiU and the Sainsburys close by only has a puny and insignificant amount of shelf space for it. In fact, it's part of the Wii section, but on the bottom shelf. Nintendo clearly made errors with the 3DS launch and they have made arguably worse one with the WiiU. Some would argue that the price drop prices from ASDA and HMV (250 and 199) should have been the RRP of the system to start with. I paid 180 for my Wii at launch. Going higher than 230 is pushing it, imo. 199 is only a steal when you consider the prices that came before it. It's still 20 quid more than a Wii at launch.

I take it you like the straps then? Great lifting. Hope I can get up to that one day.

It's fine, no worries. Logistically, it's asking a bit too much. You'd have to physically go out and get one, then go through the hassle of sending it/me driving there to collect it, and then there's transferring the monies over and stuff. For the sake of saving a few quid, it's a bit too much hassle. I was hoping the deal would still be a "a quiet one" and I could have just strolled in to town at midday and collected it. Somehow, the information seems to have got out and they've gone. I was also anticipating HMV having more than just 4 units in stock. I'll most likely wait for E3 now and see what happens. If there are some huge games announced, or stuff revealed for later this year, I'll hope for an ASDA-esque deal and go for that.

Would glad pay an extra 20 or 30 quid above the 199 to make it worth Rummy's while. It's probably gone by now, though. These things have sold out quick. Note to Nintendo: Make the launch price cheaper for your next console. :p

I've just phoned HMV in Bournemouth and Poole. Bournemouth had 4 units and they've all sold out. Opening time was at 9 and I wasn't even up at that time, so was never going to make it. Gutted. Am cry, N-E. Am cry.

Hahahaah, I understand this completely. It's uncomfortable asking someone for a spot, and then looking up from the bench and seeing them looking down at you...most uncomfortable feeling ever. Try not to make eye contact, even for just a second. I'm debating whether or not to keep chest flies in my routine, or whether it's better to replace them with an incline bench press instead. But then, I wonder if then that'll be too much pressing. Flat bench press, shoulder press, incline bench. Could be too much. I've had mixed advice about flies. The only thing I would change with your routine is where you do your deadlifts. I'd need to do it much earlier, as that's when I'd feel fresher. I try to do most of my compounds at the start. (although I do pullups before deadlifting, as it doesn't impact too much). The benefits of doing leg/push/pull is that you do work out everything in those 3 days. I was going to start the split again and do legs yesterday, but had to run an afterschool football club. Came home to watch the England game and fell asleep immediately afterwards on the sofa. Too tired.

I don't usually score goals, I prefer playing in defence. I just saw the ball in the air and thought "right, that's mine, and hit it." Usually it would have flown over the field and out onto the road. :p

Yeah, this HMV deal came out of nowhere. It's insane no matter how you look at it. The ASDA deal is a sensibly great deal. HMV are lunatics over this one.

Happy Birthday, Ike!

I saw this thread when I was just packing up for work at about 6 o'clock last night. I drove to Castlepoint where there is a HMV in the hope that they had this deal. Unfortunately, it's the HMV that is closing down, so no deal. No WiiUs even. There's one in town. I will try there. If I see it, I'm having it! 200 quid for a WiiU and ZombiU? Yes. Fucking. Please.

U r mi hiroooo. Great game, that was. Balotelli's goal was a beauty. The England game yesterday was like a training match or something. When each goal went in it was "heh, nice". Have to feel a bit sorry for San Marino when their coach said he would take a 5-0 defeat as a victory. I was playing football at break-time with some of the kids and the two trees we use for goalposts (ol' skool) was infested with rabbit shit. So, they ended up declaring this wooden log as a goal, which was about a metre and a half long and not very high at all...probably less than half a metre. I was stood chatting to another child a fair distance away. Can't remember how far exactly, definitely was further than 25 metres or so, when I saw the keeper kick the ball into the air. It took a bounce and was on the rise down, I stepped away from the person I was talking to and watched the ball, then smacked it and saw it curve in the air. It flew, rose and then dipped right at the end, hitting the log in what would be the keeper's left hand side. All of the kids playing looked at me like I was a God and one ran to me celebrating like it was his goal. Definitely one of the best goals I've ever scored, it was just lol how it all happened. The distance out, the small target, the not paying attention. Never will happen again. :p

Bought two of these for about 9 quid each. Loving them. I also bought a set of York Spring Collars for a few quid, but they didn't fit around my bar, despite a user review saying that they would. A bit pissed at that, but it's not a huge deal. Need to buy some more plates. Am thinking of getting some 15kg plates this time, maybe 2 of those. Or 4 lots of 10.

Good job, that man! Enjoying the game, so far. Hopefully the second half will be just as good.

Rest day today! The DOMS hasn't actually been terrible either, I was expecting to be drained completely, but I almost feel the opposite. Definitely going to go with the Leg/Push/Pull split for now. Raineeng, what's your routine exactly? Do you Bench/Squat/Shoulder press?

What if you dress up in drag? Can you get in for free? Do eet, Charlie.

This post sums up my views. I believe the player knew what he was doing, but perhaps got too carried away by the moment and didn't "think" things through properly. He deserves to get punished for this. Sportsmen are under the spotlight and have to be seen as good role models for others. You can't do what he did and expect no repercussions from it.

Pull/back day. Deadlifted 123kg for 3 reps. Couldn't do any more, as my grip was taking a battering. New record for me, beating the 120kg I managed before and better than last week's 118kg.

As much as I loved Jordan, that had me in absolute tears. Funniest thing an Admin has ever done. Evaaar. I joined because I was looking for some GameCube wall-papers or something. I joined around the time that I picked up Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 for the Cube. Excellent times.

That's pretty shit news, sorry to hear that. Use that anger to lift rather than to eat badly. Tiredings o'clock. I saw a split a few days ago somewhere where you do 3 days on and take a rest day. It's effectively Legs, Push (shoulders and chest), Pull (back), rest, then repeat. The idea is that you focus on the important exercises and then you train each body part twice in a week. I tried the Push part today. Never done shoulders and chest on the same day before, and it went better than expected. I've figured out a way to do dips at home using the spotter's catch on the squat stands. Overall, it took me around 90 minutes and I managed to get in some tricep work. I didn't go for the usual 5 set 5 reps, cut it down to 4 for the main lifts and 3 for some of the non-as-important things. Just finished dinner and am still hungry.
