  1. I shy away from 4-2-4 and would only really use it if somebody else had a shit midfield or if my midfield was really bluddy good. Or, I guess, if somebody went 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 or something. Against 4 or 5 midfielders, I think it's dangerous. It does work well with long balls, but when the other team has possession, it can mess you right up. I think I'll lose my last game, but I'm happy that I'm still in with a chance of staying up. It's been a hard but necessary season and we've done well to get to this point. If we stay up, it should be much easier next season for us.
  2. You went full retard that game, brah. 2 midfielders against 5, away from home. I let out a real life gasp when I saw that line up. But then thought fuuuuck when I realised I had put 3 defenders out... Great game, although...I can't beliiiieve Gregor Forsyth scored 5 goals. What I can't believe part II is that he also didn't make the Xpert team! Come on now. :p How come you went 4-2-4? I thought you wanted to stay up?
  3. I was knackered after it! As soon as I found the
  4. Ahhhhhhh!
  5. England's women were dire. They've been absolutely awful in every game they've played. It's scary how far behind the team is to the competition. The same goes for the men's senior team, the U21s and U20s. The coaching and selection process needs to change. I can only see the gap widening at this rate.
  6. Really? So, if you wanted to start a collection digitally, it would make more sense to go to GAME and get the download code from there? Then, come home, enter the code, and download it from the eShop? Rather than going to the eShop directly. Is that right? I have no idea how these download codes work. Are the download codes usually the same price then as the boxed version?
  7. Hmm, I think I'm good thanks. Didn't really enjoy the last one. A bit too long, too many inactives and the town were slooooow. I'll pass. Too many Wii U games to play. :p

  8. This is lovely. A friend that I went to Uni with is deaf and has made this video for the band The Levellers. It's the official video for the song. I had no idea she was doing this and apparently it was kept pretty quiet. So utterly brilliant.
  9. That's a good post. How sure are you that the GAME download code is going to be the same? This. Changes. Everything. That potentially could be a really sweet deal. Hmm. I'm planning to get both games anyway, but having both downloaded might be the way forward...the future.
  10. Some people can get used to it quickly. Many can't. It's a mindfuck and it can actually be quite dangerous if you forget for just one second where you are. @Oxigen_Waste's post encompasses some of my feelings. Nooo, you misunderstood. :p We have millions of the buggers. What I meant was that I wasn't looking forward to using roundabouts in a different country, since you have to go the other way. That would confuse the fuck out of me.
  11. Money, brah. It's going to take at least double what we've paid for any other player ever. I don't even think Spurs would sell for £60million. They would probably be cocky and ask for another 10 on top of that...That's a lot of money. United have never spent that amount before. Plus, the wages on top of that. At United, he would almost certainly win trophies and I'm sure he would have a fantastic career. But, I don't think it will happen because of the finances. Too expensive. We're more likely to look elsewhere and get somebody else for a 10th of that price.
  12. @Charlie, I don't know about you dawg, but even seeing cars driving on the other side of the road is a mindfuck. Been to Belgium a lot of times, but the idea of driving over there would confuse me, at least for a while. Roundabouts...not even once.
  13. Yeah, I know we've signed Varela. I meant signings from this moment on. Zaha and Varela are the type of signings that we're probably best at. Taking youth/younger players and then developing them. Like Ronaldo. I can't help but think that we wasted a bit of money on players like Ashley Young, though. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets moved on to make way. If we could get a young midfielder in the mould of Rafael, somebody who is young, hungry and quick and wants to impress, then that would bode well. I'm not sure on Fellaini. He's great, but whether he'd fit in and stamp his authority, I don't know. It could be one step too far for him, in my opinion. Everton might just be the perfect club for him.
  14. We won't get either of them. :p By the end of this transfer window, we will have Garay as cover for Vidic. Fellaini in midfield and maybe a youth striker from abroad, or somebody who isn't from a huge team. At the very most. We could just as likely end up with none of them and recruit from within. If it comes down to the last week of the window and we're just putting a deal in place for Fellaini (as our main bit of business this summer) then that tells you all you need to know. Looking at out dealings, we've tended to shy away from huuuuge prices and deals. Berbatov was over 30million, Veron was pricey, but since then we've not really done business in the same way. We're looking at the 20-25million pound bracket, and even then I think the club don't tend to like spending that much money unless it's a marquee signing. To get players like Bale and Cesc, you need to be bidding much more than that. There is no way we'll be getting Bale or Cesc, or these other big names being touted. We may offer big money, but the clubs will either want more or clubs from abroad will offer more. Like I said, we matched bids before for Moura and I reckon we did have something in place for Alcantara, but we were either outbid or outmuscled in some way (Alcantara's situation was special). Hmm, not really what I was getting at in that sense. I tend to think that most high tier clubs operate in the same way. You wouldn't go for just one summer target, because that would be the equivalent of putting all of your eggs in one basket. You shop around and you see what's there. The difference this year seems to be that, somehow, these names are being made public. (not from Moyes himself, but somehow the media are getting wind of a lot of this stuff) Maybe it was the same in the past, I don't know.
  15. Entrance song: It's hard to choose one, but that one fits. It could even be instrumental. Favourite Words: Epiphany Surreal Nemesis Cascade Encompass My non-serious list would be: Earth Fire Wind Water Heart Coveted things: Abstract - To be able to "jump bodies" in a way similar to the film Being John Malkovich. Maybe not quite like that, but being able to be somebody different and experience different things. Real - My own house.
  16. I almost had tears when playing the first few parts of Colours. "Welcome back, Sonic." It was like being back in the days of the MegaDrive. THIS is what a 3D Sonic game should be like. They're both completely different as well, Lost World and 3D World. They should compliment each other nicely. I expect 3D World to trounce Lost World with sales, but it wouldn't surprise me if this ended up getting equal review scores, or maybe even better scores. 3D World looks a bit "safer" and I expect Nintendo will really polish that up before it releases.
  17. Colours was Hnnnngggggg! One of my favourite Wii platformers on a system with a lot of competition in that area. Fuck, have SEGA finally re-learned how to make great Sonic games? It's almost blasphemy, but I'm looking forward to this much more than the new Mario.
  18. I have no idea. I reckon Ell might be the one to ask? Did he organise it last year? Can't remember. Think I played for a bit in the year before and then just gave up. UNLIKE XPERT WHERE I FIGHT TO THE END. I want to see Welbeck given more of a run up front, too. No point putting him out on the point. I don't like it when managers do that, strikers should be up top, wingers should be out on the wing. The Chelsea fans are going crazy already. Wassamatta? You worried? :p Also, fuuuuuuu. If I hear David Luiz pronounced as Day-vid instead of Dah-vid one more time, I'm going to rip out my testicles and beat somebody to death with them. Radio presenters are so fucking annoying. Why do I think that somebody at United is running around with their hands in the air shouting "BID ON ALL THE PLAYERS!!" This is going to be a summer where we literally bid on everyone. I can see it. So far we've been linked with...Alcantara, Baines, Fellaini, Fabregas, Bale, Strootman, Erikson, Ronaldo, Modric, Garay...pretty sure there's more.
  19. But...but...The Sonic Cycle. The Sonic Cycle! Why isn't the develoment of this game following the cycle?! Shouldn't we be receiving bad review scores pretty soon?
  20. I am just about to boot it up. I've made a cup of tea, the lights are off and I am ready to be suitably awestruck. Ok, I've made a start. I fucked up twice in that beginning part before anything even happens and died! I restarted both times because I didn't want to miss anything out.
  21. I fink I av postid dat gif b4, brah!

Also, I am the heir to the throne in Xpert. Zell's Submarines are false idols!

  22. I quite enjoyed doing that. I'd be in the gym for 6-ish, doing my stuff before work. It also gets it all out of the way, so your evenings after work are all yours and you haven't got to worry about sneaking any exercise in, since you've done it already. The downside was that I found myself flagging around mid-afternoon. 2-3 o'clock was hard and I usually just came home and crashed out for a bit. Anyway, my arse and hamstrings ache from Leg Day and now I've got squash tonight. This is going to be fun. I'll be devastated if Ine gets a fourth straight victory.
  23. Have you tried speaking to him about this? Although, I can imagine that would be one awkward conversation to have. The telling sign is that part I bolded. I take it that his other half doesn't like you? Or doesn't like him spending time with you?
  24. I much preferred that the levels were short. It usually meant that the pace was fast and frantic. Short but very, very sweet. I hope the longs don't become too long and bloated and I loved the approach in Colours. My favourite Sonic game, so far.
  25. To anybody who hasn't got this game yet: Buy it. It's 25 quid at Grainger Games and it is completely fucking awesome. I love it. Even more so than I expected to. It's just...very fun. Everything is fun. Even when you mess up, it's still a great laugh. Can't wait to play some of you bitches on here. Leaderboards will be shattered. Times will be recorded. Anguses will be peppered.
