  1. Or8, brah. Calm down, calm down. We'll see tonight. I'm excited. My body is very ready.
  2. I've got it, but it hasn't arrived yet. Should be here tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. Hmm, to be honest, I'm not that fond of it. It's a decent game, but I don't really need it right now. Good price, though. Need for Speed is awesooooooome. I really recommend everyone go buy it. £25 quid from Grainger Games. Go!
  3. Looool, I'm smelling another transfer scandal. Quickly, hide your posts before @DuD and @The Peeps show up.
  4. Need for Speed and ZombiUUUUUUUU came today. Tekken must be coming tomorrow then. Going to play Need for Speed now and ZombiU tonight. Not going to play ZombiU in the light like @Blade, here.
  5. I would have loved to have seen this happen. It would have possibly made things cheaper for the average citizen in the long-run, as you wouldn't have to worry about paying for the car, car tax, insurance premiums, speeding fines, parking tickets, parking charges, petrol, etc. Ine's home city of Hasselt is pretty cool as they have "free buses" in the sense that your taxes pay for it. So, you can just hop on a bus and go into town. I do believe they're stopping that, though. A shame. It's going to take a lot of money to get to that stage, mind. We don't have enough cycle lanes in this country and this makes driving a bit nervy at times for me. In the South, there's so many small, tight country roads that can barely fit two cars alongside each other. Throwing cyclists into the mix just adds chaos. We need more cycle lanes for a start. The trains are another matter...the trains in Wales are a shambles and I don't seriously believe that they've been refurbished since the 80s.
  6. It makes you wonder, though. How much did Chelsea buy Mata for? Around 24million? So, 24million + the 10million means we're either valuing Rooney at more than £34million, or Chelsea are undervaluing Mata. I reckon we should just try a cash bid for Mata. £20million. Have him AND Rooney. That would be the equivalent of having your cake and eating it.
  7. The more I think about it, the more I reckon United should have taken that deal. Unless Chelsea do come back with a bigger offer. We'll see. But yeah, if Benitez had done that, I can imagine the fury from the fans. Although, I've got a few Chelsea fans on my facebook right now saying, "Noooooo, don't do it!" Aaahahaha. I think this deal would actually anger more Chelsea fans than it would please.
  8. @Haden, I am willing to let you have Daan Wielink, Patric Barculo, 1 million and a hug for that Conden fella. What say you? A rare win for the DRAGOOOOOnians, but we are going down. No worries. The end of year party for DRAGOOOOO will still go ahead.
  9. Cars and the whole process of learning to drive is stressful and an annoyance. However, at times, it can be a necessary evil. For example, when I was supply teaching, I had no car and had to make do with public transport. One particular job saw me waking up at 5am and boarding a train at around 5:45, where I then had to switch at Cardiff to take another train, and had to take a 25 minute taxi anyway when I got off the train to get to one school for 8:30. Getting home was the same. It was a nightmare. 4 trains and 2 taxis to get to work and back. Even now, there are no trains and buses that can take me close enough to get to the school without needing a car at some point. Yes, they're a pain, but they're also a huuuuge convenience and can actually relieve stress in some ways. Some of the transport links that exist in this country are absolutely dire. So, either they would have to be monumentally improved, or we have to look at improving cars and looking for alternative fuel sources or how to make them greener.
  10. The likes of Mata, Kagawa, Nani (on form) and Zaha behind Van Persie or Hernandez... Hnnnnngggggg! Mata is exactly the type of player we need. A creative midfielder, which would also allow Kagawa to be in his preferred position (behind the striker) and would also solve the issue of an unhappy player not wanting to be here or being out of position.
  11. Very self aware. Yeah, I agree. Each team has their own marquee player, but aside from Juventus, none of them have an Earth shattering squad. Can't see an Italian team winning the Champions League for a long time, especially with the likes of PSG and Bayern strengthening in a serious way. Breaking news: Chelsea bid for Rooney. Apparently the bid was £10 million plus either Mata or Luiz. ... I really, really, reeeeally like Mata. Would love to see him at United.
  12. Juventus are going the right way, but the Milan clubs are looking pretty dire. I remember the league used to be full of powerhouses and the national team were scary to play against. For me, they've lost their edge and it's only thanks to the likes of Pirlo and De Rossi that I even bother paying attention to Serie A any more.
  13. Money talks. €60 odd million per player, God knows what they'll be on in wages. That's a LOT of money. Monaco have spent around €130million on 3 players in Falcao, Mountiho and Rodriguez. If anything, it's better for the French League in a sense that more "superstars" will be thinking of going there. For too long has their league been lagging behind. I'd say the Italian League is in a similar predicament.
  14. I was thinking about getting a 3DTV originally, but mostly for future-proofing, I guess. At some point in the future, it may become great and it would then be worth it. But, the more I've thought about it, the more I've realised that I actively avoid 3D films, both in the cinema and at home. So, I'd be paying more for something I wouldn't really be using. The best 3D film I've seen has still been Avatar. It's almost like an after-thought for most films.
  15. STARRING BRAD PITT...
  16. That's a good point. I have no idea what the unit is called since it was there before we moved in. I would ask the landlord, but I haven't seen him in well over a year... Would you say 42" is fine in that? (given the dimensions) Am I pushing it? Trying to find a reasonably priced Plasma at 40" was difficult. They seem to come in much bigger sizes.
  17. I've just come back from seeing World War Z. Really enjoyed it. Probably more so than I was expecting myself to. After leaving the cinema, I was driving straight out of Tower Park and saw fires in the distance. Hmm, these cinema screens are getting good. They're etching sections from the film directly onto my retinas. Possibly some kind of subliminal messaging. But, no. Actual Fires. Very surreal coming out of the cinema after that particular film and seeing that. IT HAS BEGUN. Quickly, we need to build a wall around Bournemouth.
  18. October 22nd! Niiice. That'll do lovely. 5 months after it has been revealed, the game will be on the shelves. I won't complain one bit about not having much info on Wii U games if we get more situations like this.
  19. Buuuump! Going to need some help, people. First of all, I'm going to give you the dimensions of my tv unit. It's one of these units that has shelves and compartments on the outside of it and then one cave-like compartment in the middle to fit your tv. The dimensions are: Width: 104cm Height: 69cm Depth: 37cm. - this is roughly the sort of design that I mean, but there's a back part to the unit. We are looking at two televisions in particular, but that brings us to another problem. LED or Plasma? To my knowledge, LEDs are more energy efficient, but Plasmas produce better quality in picture and sound. We have found two models. Panasonic-TX-P42X60B-42-inch-Freeview-Plasma - Priced at £329 and Samsung-UE42F5000AKXXU-42-inch-Widescreen-1080p - Priced at £428 So far, the Panasonic Plasma is winning. Here's the final problem and potentially the deal breaker. The dimensions for the Panasonic are: Width: 100.7cm Height: 65.7cm Depth: 23.1cm and The dimensions for the Samsung LED are: Width: 97.1cm Height: 63.7cm Depth: 23.5cm All of these sizes are with the stands. So, they're both tight fits, but the Panasonic is tighter. Ine reckons that it won't fit and we'll be pushing it, whereas I believe that it will fit and it won't be a problem at all. Can anyone help?
  20. Yeah, work almost ruins it. That's when the exercise and food needs to become more of your lifestyle and not just a hobby. It can take a while before you get to that stage, though. Leg Day today. Done it. My hamstrings feel like jelly today and my calves are noticeably more tired, too. So much sweat! This heat doesn't help.
  21. No. It's a huge over-statement and an argument that is thrown about too often with very little thought. Chelsea won it not too long ago. United have, with the exception of the year we got knocked out of the group stages, made it through and have either lost it in the final or against a strong opponent, like Real Madrid last year. City had a really fucking tough group. Arsenal went out to the eventual winners. People will go where the money is, for a start. It's also approaching World Cup time, so they'll go into teams that will get them recognition or get them noticed for the national team. Like David Villa. He no doubt stayed in Spain because that will give him a good platform to get back into the Spanish team for the World Cup.
  22. Keep it up, people. Weight loss is going well. My traps are also killllling from today. Today was hot and so I ended up working out at about 11-ish. Trying to deadlift without annoying the neighbours is a laugh. :p
  23. HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG! I'm on the lookout for a pocket watch. I've wanted one for years but I can't find the perfect one. Where did you get this from? Details, please.
  24. Can't believe people aren't talking about transfers! Arsenal are contemplating offloading Gervinho to Lyon. Lyon are "considering" offering 6.1 million quid AND Yoann Gourcuff for him. So, you get rid of Gervinho, get some money in return AND Gourcuff. Aaahahahahah. Bluddy take it, Arsene. :p Yeah, Fergie retiring is going to be the big game changer. He was a massive influence for us and now that he has gone it should open things up (even slightly) for the rest. I can appreciate how it will make the league more exciting. All I can say is that I am so utterly grateful to be born in time to see his reign. Not sure what's going on with Higuain. To me, it looks like it's off. It shouldn't be taking this long, and if Higuain was really that interested in moving, he would have said something already. It could be a late one. Wouldn't be surprised if Spurs pinch him, although they seem to be after Benteke.
  25. It seems really awesome. People in this thread are mentioning that it is short. How short are we talking exactly? It's a platformer and I think they tend to be shorter as they can end up being repetitive. So, not sure it's necessarily a terrible thing. The whole premise seems interesting, though. Considering buying it.
