Great performance from Everton. Martinez really got his team up for it and they killed Arsenal in midfield. Arsenal and Arsene Wenger didn't seem up for it today and the body language after going down 1-0 was awful. I still think Arsenal will get fourth as they have easier fixtures. But, we'll see.

Aye. The music in this game is so special. It's mindblowing actually. There's not just 5 or 6 good tracks. There's about 20 or 30. The amount of time, effort and care that went into the soundtrack alone is astounding. It really makes a difference, too.

I'd have strongly considered going digital for this if it was about a tenner/fifteen quid cheaper. £35 digital, and I'm there.
-
Ahhh, phew. I had images of you attempting to do the whole lot in one go. "Yaay, quest completed...49 to go, huhuhu. :'(" I really, really, REEEEEALLLY wish that this game could be run off the GamePad in its entirety. Not just the ability to stream the picture, but being able to use the controls on the pad, too. I would have swarmed over those sidequests like an army of blood-hungry Nopons. Playing this whilst watching Match of the Day, hnnngggg.
-
Maybe ease off on the sidequests a little? In case you feel a bit bored or burnt out. I know I'd have enjoyed the game less if I spent that much time sidequesting. Either way, I'm happy to see you persevering with it. Reyn time, motherfucker.

At the risk of sounding like somebody who just swoons over pretty visuals, this game just looks fucking incredible in HD. It feels very "right". I don't know what it is, but something about this game just screams to me that this is how Mario needs to be on a home console.

The idea of dual screen feels more integral or essential to me than it does gimmicky. For me, it's gone past the point of being "just an idea" to something that I wouldn't want to see disappear. Nintendo would be taking a huge backward step by removing it. The only thing I'd like to see them do is make the next handheld more powerful, I guess. I can easily live with or without 3D. Aside from that, I don't think it needs another else, no gimmicks attached. Almost a GameCube style evolution over the N64; more powerful, giving developers more range to create interesting games. Although, Nintendo's handhelds have always been more about the games themselves rather than being "an awesome set of hardware". So, long may that continue.

Rooney not so much, but agree with you on Van Persie there. It's actually eerily similar to the situation when Ruud Van Nistelrooy was at the club. We played much better football after he left, as it allowed the likes of Rooney and Ronaldo to step up to the plate. Van Persie and Rooney don't look particularly great when they play together, it's not an amazing partnership. I actually thought Rooney and Welbeck's partnership was a lot better. Some of the football they played in the 4-4 with Everton a few years back was incredible. They did look like being the front two before Van Persie arrived. I'd disagree with you about Rooney because I think he could have done a good job playing up top, with the likes of Mata and Kagawa behind him. That's what I would play, some form of 4-3-3/4-3-2-1 with Rooney through the middle and Kagawa and Mata behind him. Either way, the style of play was much better today, keeping the ball on the ground, quick 1-2s, moving the opposition about (Hernandez is pretty good for this). We need to do more of that.

Wouldn't surprise me. Today was one of the first times where I thought, "he's got it now." Like watching a kid struggle with a game for so long, and then that moment arrives and it clicks. We have a looooong way to go. But, there's some class players in this team. Rooney, Mata, Kagawa, Januzaj for starters. We need to build the team around them. As I said earlier, Kagawa and Mata were brilliant today. Loved watching them link up.
-
Kagawa and Mata were class for the entirety of that game. They are on the same wavelength and they need to be starting every week. Both of them. Januzaj, aside from some bad crosses/shots, looked great, too. I was happy to see him score twice. As for Moyes: The line-up was good today. He made good substitutions and the tactics were just right. Generally, our away form has been great this season. It's the home games where we've messed up. On to the next game. It's a shame we can't play Mata. But, Kagawa HAS to start. I will lose my shit if he doesn't.

Imo, Mario Kart 8 has a lot to live up to compared to Sonic Transformed. The amount of variety in that game is immense. I'm playing it right now and have forgotten just how damn good it is. Such a thing shouldn't need confirming, it should already be a given.
-
Thank you for giving me my laugh of the night. I didn't even bother swimming in the sea until after I'd reached the next location. Use the platforms/transporters, brah. I thought it was pretty obvious...it is at the end of the pathway/beach, after all. Don't give up, because imo it really kicks on from here. Loveeee the next location you get to.

Happy Birthday, Don Shabba. Go forth and Shabba'aise.

What Would You Change About Nintendo/With Nintendo?
Fierce_LiNk replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I agree with this part. What worries me about Nintendo is that they seemed to have distanced themselves from the competition too far. So much so that they're almost completely unaware of what their competitors are doing. As much as they say they aren't, they're clearly competing against Sony and Microsoft. They've seen it as a good thing to remove themselves from that position when competition does the opposite; it drives up standards and means different companies will do different things to "out-do" the others. I get the feeling that Iwata is a bit too soft to be in charge of Nintendo, he doesn't seem to have any aggression or drive at all. -
Amazing, isn't it? Antonio Banderas is one sexy mother. Surprised that it's Smash Bros. news that we're getting, but I'll take anything. Give me moar X newssssss.

Dat gif. (Yaaay, I get to use that gif twice in a minute) *unzips pants* My body is ready...to pre-order. I think it's time, brah. Game looks stunning. It's going to look shit hot.

I have hooked up my Wii to the bedroom TV. The Wii U is set up with the new tv in the living room. Playing Rayman Origins in bed. I think my real house is going to have an awweeeesome set-up. Possibly N64 in bed? Hnnnngggggg.

Ine wants to keep every cat/animal that she sees. :p We can't at our place though, as we're pretty sure the landlord won't allow it. But, we can dream.

This ban won't stick, I'm sure of it. Although I've not read up on this and can't quite remember the full details, didn't a similar thing happen to Chelsea and they ended up getting their ban heavily reduced? Same thing will happen. Either way, I'm sure Barcelona will find a way to cope. They've got great youngsters in their academy and youth teams, so it'll just mean that they'll look to promote from within instead of buying elsewhere. The two areas in particular will be in goal and in defence.
-
Jesus, it's like walking into a Klu Klux Klan group gathering in here. So many Nopon haters. Our Great Heropon will be disappointed to hear this.
-
PM me her number, Broseph. I take it you will be making the annual trip down to Bournemouth this summer?
-
Asalam Alaiykum to you, brother. See you at the mosque tomorrow, brah. I've told Ine to go for the job OR ELSE SHE WILL DIE. The plan will either be to supplement that job with either moar freelance or another part-time job, if successful.

As for Iwata, I wonder just how strong he is with regards to changing things if they're not working. Obviously things aren't working well as they are and Nintendo as a company must be aware of this. By the end of this year, we should know how big his balls are.
