awww shes sooo big :3 rawr big tiger sitting at the window keeping an eye on everyone :3 betty ready to pounce betty comes into the living room where i often sit on my computer, will sit there watching me, sometimes would miow, then turns tail and leaves... its like shes trying to tell me something lol

Eep. I've spent a lot on these braces so I guess its more motivation to keep to the maintenance!! I think my ortho wants to put the back wires on my teeth at the end too! Yeah I'm gonna enjoy being able to close my mouth comfortably lol :p

my teeth have already started to move, after only 3 days of having these braces in... one of them has twisted slightly into line, and has filled in a gap and left a gap somewhere else and its a really visible change o_o At the moment my teeth look more gappy than they did 4 days ago.... but yeah it is a good thing because its helping my diet and it will fix my teeth eventually... i'm quite enjoying the obsessive compulsion to clean my teeth far too often..

I do cal zigzag so every day is different. Some days I only eat 1300 calories and some i go up to 3500. And yes I'm with Charlie, its not always just enough to exercise, and in all honesty a bit patronising to people who have to make an effort to cut down. I was gymming 4/5x a week and burning near on 900 calories per session and not losing weight because I was eating healthily, but not cutting down on portions. It sounds like an excuse etc but some people just simply do not have an active metabolism. Think the trick is just getting portion sizes correct and keeping an eye on your calorie intake really... You've done well to get as far as you have so i'm sure you've an idea what's good to eat and whats not I dunno if this would be any use to you : http://www.bupa.co.uk/individuals/health-information/directory/p/hi-portion-size

you don't believe in dieting because you obviously don't need it... not everyone has the same ability, lifestyle and physical makeup as you...! And full fat coke is just downright bad for you in every sense, not just the calorie sense :p besides, if you are "dieting" you are doing it wrong. You just have to eat healthy, have some treats but keep an idea in your head of where your limit is. I'm currently eating nothing but a liquid/soft food diet because my teeth are in a lot of pain... (braces) and its definitely helping me keep under my quota lol. I had tomato soup for my lunch and my perfect freakin ceramic white braces were stained orange o_o LOL I suppose you could say I'm calorie cycling at the moment... I'm basically doing 2x bmr once a week, and working out my tdee etc and dividing the rest up over the week. A reasonable loss for me is about 3500 on high day and 1300-1400 during the week. Trying to have different amounts every day to keep my metabolism ticking over (something I suffer with a lot it seems) but I'm having great success with it so far (-4, -3.5 in two weeks!)

varicose veins are more common than you think.., i've loads of them but it runs in my family... curse you genetics *shakesfist* if its painful you can get them removed but its surgical and a painful procedure itself

I'm getting a payrise of about 2k a year, and hopefully backpay (of about 3 years!!) this month tooo, yippeee Oh how I love nhs reforms *nods* counting the days til next monday

Yeah beans aren't bad in moderation like most things. The carb reading off beans is high because beans are a natural carbohydrate as well as having a bit of sugar in em. I tend to drain away most of the sauce to reduce the sugar (if that might make you feel better about eating them) as well as just sticking to a half tin/one of the snap pots. The low sugar/salt ones are gack.

PANCAKES Yes I had some today with lemon and some sweetener (diet lol) Worked out well that is pancake day today because I had to eat something soft and easy to digest with me getting braces!

I got my braces on earlier today... i actually found the whole experience rather relaxing, and they aren't at all sore or annoying like i'd expected them to be... wooohoo

I think the fact that you can nip into Primark and the like, grab a shirt for like ?2 has really ruined the art of making stuff.. northern ireland doesn't have markets like over in the mainland, so material is pretty expensive.

red onion, peas, and a small potato, oh and some cheese on top. cut the potato into 4 pieces, stuck it in the microwave for 4 minutes, and it was cooked enough to not fall apart in the omelette cooking process. It would be lovely with some kind of ham or maybe chicken in it, but I was at my calorie limit that day and wanted cheese over the meat lol =P
