i suggest a windows format/repair is in order. Bogbas is right your windows is buggered. I would suggest a clean re-install of windows over a repair if you can get hold of your data.

Its unbelievably hard to see someone you know in a coffin. The older guy i knew even more and i couldn't bring myself to see him, after how upsetting it was the first time round. At least your on the mend twilight!

Is that ram double sided? If it is you wont be able to have more than 2 of them in a four slotted mobo.

Yeah keep it. Someone i know got two DVD rewriters instead of one (for 40 quid!) and he rang the company, and they said keep it. Costs them as much to get it sent back anyway!

aww damn thats no good, the only option really is to send it off to be fixed. Tbh, messing round and pulling parts out probably wont help things.

I havent been in any car accidents myself, but i know one person that did. he was on his own and he crashed into a lampost. The car flipped over several times. He wasnt even 19 when he died. And another friend of mine got run over by a car when he was on his bike and died when he was 15. Them's some nasty pics dude, you were very lucky.

I reckon you should just send it off to the manufacturer to look at, or take it back to the shop. As long as you not having it on your lap/table so that the fan is obscured, or its got damaged (could that be possible?) it should be working fine.

I used StyleXP when i had a crappy 512mb ram and it just killed everything, had to reinstall xp it was so bad. I use a paid piece of software called tuneup utilities: I dont mind using programs that use a bit of ram..theres only a difference of about 5% from not having it on.

This is usually nothing to do with viruses at all. Could be anything from software or hardware clashes to programs not shutting down properly. Couple of solutions: Right click my computer > Manage > Event viewer Any problems will usually appear with a red warning icon. If you find a lot of these you may find this could be the cause. Theres also another solution, but this is a registry hack and can screw up windows big-style if you go round messing with all the settings. Go to Start > Run > type regedit HKEY_USERS > .DEFAULT > Control Panel > Desktop Then on the right is the AutoEndTasks If you change it to 1 this will automatically shut down and programs on the menu bar when you go to shut down/log off. As it is set, windows will wait until the programs close themselves or you tell them to close. OR In the REGEDIT: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control And on the right is WaitToKillService. This value is in milliseconds. Take precaution changing this file. Take it down in small increments (maybe 500's or 1,000's) and each time you do check it shuts down right. Don't make it any smaller than 6,000. Oh yeah, sorry for bumping this thread.

Mesh computers are awesome, their cases are really well built and the hardware is superb. Bought one about 2 years ago and its fantastic, will surely buy from them again. Dell = no. IMO.

Probs got a bit stuck in it thats stopping it from opening. can you open it enough to take off the front cover bit (if thats possible) you might get a better view. i wouldnt have thought shaking it about would have broken it, unless you were incredibly violent with it.

The only time i was off "ill" was when i had slipped discs. I couldn't get out of my bed so school was kinna impossible. Other that that i usually would go to school/work, makes the day go a bit faster than lying in bed wanting to die

I have no idea what this file is. This happens when i click on OK after adjusting the network settings - it wants a file called...secur32.dll Any ideas guys?

If i seen anyone in the dark standing staring at me (ghost or not) id be crapping myself, so i dont blame you for being scared! Then you hear every lil movement round the house after and the fear grips you like something unreal! Theres definately got to be some truth about ghosts and stuff, but who knows.

i dont understand why you're so upset. These things happen to everyone buying computer parts - something better comes out a few months later, at the same price. And you cant rely on what a company says they will do, cause these things sometimes change.

Thats a super PC, but christ, nearly 2 and a half grand! Its a hell of a lot of money.
