I've had a constant string of sickness and infections since Christmas. My glands are officially huge, and I keep having to take naps in the middle of the day (despite a full nights sleep every night). My psoriasis is coming back. Fucks sake when is this going to end Only just got over a really bad kidney infection!

Aawww your Nan looks like a sweetheart

Theoretically it would cost about the same... but with added miles onto my car its not gonna last as long, thus will need more repairs/replaced sooner. To be honest I don't want to live much more than 5 miles out of town, but up to 10 for the right place.

500ml is about 0.5kg if I recall, which is 2lbs.

I'm looking at rental properties and the only thing in my area and budget is in the most god damn awful areas of town, or reaaaaallllly far out of town, thus adding to my transport costs. Can't win

Nothing says I love you quite like money...

I asked my OH (as this is our first valentines) and he's not bothered either, so we're doing nothing. Money saved yay -
Thanks for all the responses everyone I think I just needed a vent, and to be talked down from my silliness. I am happy with my OH, I don't really intend to leave him over how I feel now. I think its just super odd for me as its probably my first significant grown up relationship. Dealing with all the new stuff, and not having as much alone time gets to me a bit... I'm used to being a loner!!!

My relationship is becoming rather... odd. I feel like I'm the man/trousers of the relationship. I drive to him most of the time, i drive us places when I do go to see him, I am the "decision maker" and the breadwinner (by a considerable amount) and I'm always looking after him. And I'm the one that always wants sex....he's the one that says he's tired.... And he's the mushy one that likes hugs and I'm the one with the sore shoulder... I'm not sure how much I like it... I'm by no means a controlling person, quite the opposite... :/ What dooo I doooooo forum?

I've worn glasses since I was 4 so I really don't have an issue with them. I tried contacts a few times but they annoyed the heck out of me - my eyes are quite sensitive and prone to infections, and the contacts i needed were monthly ones for astigmatism. My sister had laser surgery and she loved it, has absolutely no problems with her sight

You caught a martins! Quick grab a pokéball!

Yes totally agree. I had lots of people messaging me with the most ridiculous chat ever. Just have a bit of fun with it, don't be too serious. Crack a joke. Talk about something you have in common with them... Its not easy on the female side either because you have to sludge through all the men who are just looking an easy shag...

You are gonna turn into a gourmet jelly bean....

Yeah I get paid sick but that's not the issue. The NHS has trust doctors within occupational health who assess you. Every time we hit certain levels of sickness we have to go to occ health. 3 single ocassions in one year, or 10+ days within one year, and you hit stage 1 on the policy. Once you're on stage 1, any single sickness within a year puts you on stage 2, then another stage 3 then at stage 4 they consider contract termination. Apparently they can if they see that you are long term unfit to work. The policy has been in place for years, and it hasn't been changed to date.. despite the unions having kittens about it

I can't even remember what I was going to post because there are so many lols in this thread

Everyone in my office is dosed at the moment. Because of our sickness policy we get monitored with our sickness.. if it gets to a certain level they threaten you with termination. So people refuse to stay off and smite you with their bugs. Cheers colleagues.

late to the party.... You count the friggin bar...!!! Like Charlie said, its 20kg, whether its the bar or not.... there is no logic in not counting the weight of the bar...!! I also train with bars of different weight (both mens and womens oly - 20kg and 15kg respectively) so it would make no sense to not count the weight

It really does
