We have to keep ours on 24/7 because the dish gets condensated and stops working.. Our dish is quite old, and we live in a damp country (ireland) but apparently its quite common.

What's your favourite N-Europe moment ever?

that confused my poor brain... I think at the time someone (ashley maybe) changed their sig/av combo and my brain just went boom Good times. -
Pyxis, your food looks yummy. Can't beat some good ol mushrooms. I made a lasagne, it was okay but i think i overdid the pasta, and didn't make the "gravy" watery enough. So its quite dry haha Trial and error! It was my first and it was (somewhat) edible!!

tail-light guarantee?

They shouldn't be ringing to get this kinda stuff as far as I'm aware. I always make a habit of asking companies to forward my info through the post, and don't give them my address. If they are genuine they'll already have yer details on file and sending a letter will not be an issue.

Long cat is looooonnnnnng. Did your friend not even ask you? Surely this person needs to contribute. I'm sure you aren't all made of money that you can feed and house him for freeee. -- I don't really remember much of last night. Was really tired and sick, not really sure why. I'm hoping something shows up with these blood tests on Monday because I do not know how I can cope if this is just... something I have to deal with when it comes. Like every fucking thing. I feel crap and keep worrying about this lymphnodeycancerwhatsit, because of my heightened risk and family history. Urrrgh.

Agreed The people that hate are usually the ones that are hideously jealous, or Apple whores (sorry had to be said)

a picture doesn't look the same when its on a flat object as opposed to a round arm shape....
-
the design is wrapping around his arm... thats why some of it looks odd, when its probably not.

His attitude was wrong but the point was valid enough. (the driver that is)

This is what I'm kinda thinking. Obviously there are health exceptions... like taking cod liver oil can help some people with psoriasis, where you'd maybe have to eat ridiculous amounts of fish to gain the same as what you would from a supplement. And people suffering from arthritis are said to be helped with Glucosamine Sulphate. Things like that I see no harm in trying - under medical supervision of course. But I don't believe in taking these "multivitamins" (where you can easily overdose - which is as dangerous) and they can interact with other medications one may be taking. If you have a damn cold LET YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM DEAL WITH IT.

I've got a swollen lymph node in my neck.. went to the doctor, I have to suck it and see. Getting my bloods done on Monday, if they are abnormal or it doesn't clear up in 2 weeks, its something to worry about. my aunt only recently went into remission with her fucking lymph node cancer. My dermy did mention that I've got a higher risk of cancer and to be vigilant about checking all the usual spots (especially neck) This swelling is pulling at my muscles down my neck and shoulders/back and its actually really annoying.. And i'm so freakin tired all of the time. The doctor was useless. First she yapped at me for not checking my bloods (this was never communicated to me from either them/dermy/rhemy so I'm meant to mind read, and I was given a book for the results and they said just to get it filled in every month) She said it could be from psoriasis flaring in my scalp.. but i've had hundreds of scalp flare ups before and nothing like this. My scalp isn't even flaring up. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Soo bored of being sore and broken.

Hahah that's fantastic. I was named after my granny from hell, who once told me to drink vinegar cause I needed to lose weight. WHEN I WAS 10 YEARS OLD I think a name change might be in order!

Before I read that I thought, well fair enough if he was driving... because you wouldn't be in control, but then i read the article. Astonishing really.

Agreed. Netbooks (in my opinion) are one of the best technological advances in a good few years. They run an older operating system, because guess what, the hardware is slower to support the 7 hour battery life, and XP is a pretty solid OS. Its still used in a lot of corporate settings, even though Vista has been out for years and even replaced by 7. So it can't be all that bad. The ipad just feels like something people waste extortionate money on, just to be "technologically pioneering" or something. Yeah it looks nice, but its serious money, and to have to jailbreak it (and invalidate your warantee), just to get it to function in a useful way seems a bit ludicrous to me.. I don't hate or love Apple - I do own a nano after all - I'm judging on the product rather than the company. (the last comment I made about Caris loving apple things was more in jest than anything, I noticed people made comment on it a few pages ago)

ditto - seeing as the battery is a pretty crucial part of the car... I'm sure we're all aware how fucked you are with a dodgy one and your car won't start. My next door neighbour bought a car before he passed, and he obviously couldn't afford the insurance (17 year old - male - learner - in northern ireland - that's big money) so he sat in his car rocking out or whatever and got through about 3 batteries!

nc10 get innnnnnn! Wooo! *high five*

I don't understand your obsession with everything Apple either, no offence
-
I just...don't know.. what to say.... What a waste of time and money. I'll stick with my awesome netbook. Just a few years too late, Apple!

If you can find an instructor that would teach you in a petrol!! You'd basically have to buy and use your own car/teach yourself. I didn't even touch a petrol car 'til after I passed, and it was a hard hard learning curve.

I would say its a diesel, they are more economical - makes sense if its being driven in all day... Only thing is you gotta nearly relearn to drive if you change over

You should shop around, look up online and see what gyms are in your local area and ring them for quotes! I got to a local one and they have an option for gym only, and its only £22 a month. Scooore.
