I suffer from minor paraplegia because of AS, its not just a typical arthritis, so you can't really box it in with every kind.
-
ooo burn! I'd sooner see a ban in alcohol than a ban in smoking!
-
it just gives you a restricted amount you can eat in one day, according to weight, activity, height, gender. Lunches can be like chicken salad, or low fat ready meal with lots of salad, maybe porridge. I'm a bit limited at work because I only get half an hour and we have a microwave and toaster on offer :P I don't tend to eat an extreme amount of food during the day because of side effects (lots of sickness in the morning with chemotherapy drugs) relevant to the exercise point; (wiki) I kinda got the short straw with the health stakes...

Exercise is a hard one.. As much as I'd love to make every effort to cycle to work, I think it would actually kill me. Its only 2.5/3 miles, but I've got ankylosing spondylitis, which is basically stiffening of the spine The plan is to make an effort to go for short trips to the gym straight after work every day. And get out walking when I have the time/nights are brighter. I go to weightwatchers on Tuesday after work, and that's basically my bad evening, I get a take-out as a treat. Then I'll eat healthy stuff within my weightwatchers allowance for the rest of the week. (salads, veggies, potatoes, porridge all that exciting stuff) I had fucking chicken salad for the first time in my life last week, isn't that crazy! I mean I'm far from perfect, but I think as I lose the weight, I should be able to make changes. I definitely see your point about making it part of your routine, rather than going cause you have to..

like a chippy, or half a chinese. Our takeouts (northern ireland) tend to be very different. I've been over to the mainland and your portions are double ours! I'm on lots of meds that decrease cell production and weight gain is a big side effect (the doctor actually specifically told me this after i told her i was with weightwatchers) it slows down the function of your body I work in a call centre. (so minimal exercise xD) I'm joining a gym next week hopefully, pending ze cash! I'm hoping that will help.

Well people that struggle to diet are usually considerably bigger than the difference you mentioned. And obviously enjoy eating food more than you do. Mines a compulsion. I've got an addictive personality.. I can kick habits very easily, if I have another habit to fall back on. Like I could distract myself with smoking and lose weight very easily! I've managed to kick all of my bad habits, so i'm really struggling with this one. Good idea, then you can't make a pit stop at the junk food on the way through Tescos ;P I figured I'd make the thread for twentytens, and let you decide if you'd like to merge it or whatever. Women are supposed to weigh a little bit more than women! At normal sizes, wimmens have boobs, men don't. So a few kg aint much to worry about. I reckon you are pretty normal, and the exercise is definitely a good way to go rather than a diet! Some people are just blessed with being skinny! Some aren't! Yeah the rotten scumbags, I hate you all. I have a normal 1 person sized take out, and I could gain 2 or 3 pounds on just that. I know one person in particular who is hella skinny - she does eat like full fat buns n stuff, but she eats one. She couldn't finish a full bag of crisps or a large chocolate bar in one go!

This topic is over-done, over-argued, and about 2 years too late... Smokers have settled, non smokers are happier. Get over eeeeeeeeeeeet. I would just love a smoke right now!

dairy/fat causes mucus buildup in your throat, and i'm probably more sensitive to it than others because my immune system is in overdrive
-
Lindt and Galaxy chocolate have a lot more fat/dairy in them than cadburies chocolate does. I hate lindt, it makes my throat feel tight and congested after I've eaten it >_<

I would have thought universal health care would have a whole lot more benefits than letdowns. Like cancer patients actually being able to afford their drugs... I'm on medications that I couldn't afford outside of the NHS!

My uncle works in cadburies! I think he's just worried about his job more than anything. Cadburies is awesome and they better fucking keep the factory shop/tour open for April, or i will be PISSED.

Eeeeeets twenty ten! About that time of year when people are making new years resolutions, including the biggie, losing weight and getting fit! I went back after Christmas to Weightwatchers, had put on a mega 7 pounds. I was happy enough with this (doubled that the year previously), and now i'm working on pulling that back. Last week I did nothing but scoff my face (comparitively) and lost a mega 4.5lbs. Total what the hell moment. This week I went, and lo and behold, my previous weeks eating had the better of me! I'd only lost half a pound!! =( After eating fucking salads and damn weightwatchers meals!!! (@mods/admins - I know there's a thread already, but its a 2009 thread! :P)

You sign up with whatever deal they want you to, then that company sells on your details, and they sell them on, etc. That's how the money is made. It's a con and you'd be stupid to even contemplate using that site. Nothing in life is ever free.

I think its already exists! paraphilia is a biomedical term used to describe sexual arousal to objects, situations, or individuals that are not part of normative stimulation. /wiki -

I'm not saying its bad or anything, I've just done far too much indulgence in the past =P You sound like a Frijj salesman/advertisement! -
I have very expensive (quality headphones) and I could make out not one damn bit. I don't really want to deafen myself just to hear a crappy joke... I blame your mumbling, and the fact I'm not accustomed to hearing your accents very often..

mmm calories! -
I haaaaaaatted the hazard perception. Things like the horses, were pretty obvious because they were an auto "click as soon as you see", but some of them are like, click when you see potential problems, click when it causes the problem/hazard. Oh god I hated it, completely worried over it, and paid very little attention to my multiple choice.

I don't think its his hand going in the middle! (in before you filthy lot!) -
Steee from Hollyoaks is such a cutie ^___^; Love how he just (unintentionally) dived right headfirst onto the ice =D Dr Hilary did bloody well considering how bad he was from the VT. I think they do that on purpose - I imagine most of the footage is from the first week =P Expecting The guy from the Bill to do well (He's also an old school hollyoaker! Don't these guys get everywhere?!) he just seemed natural. Loved the controversial scoring from the judges with a few of the contestants! 2.5 and 4 for the same dancing.. Mad :P

I really like the developing relationship between yourself and Claire on screen =P

Mine are the same. Theres a good rule to follow here; Intergrated stuff is basic. And usually crap. Webcams, mics, graphics, its all the same.

crap quality, cube hit the nail on the head. One gets what they pay for..
