Yeah, dude. She ran out infront of you so if anything happened it was her own fault. I'm sure she's learned a valuable lesson tonight and just be thankful everything worked out okay. Terrifying experience though, but seeing her get up must have been the biggest relief ever. Like spending all of December thinking you weren't gonna get a copy of Ocarina of Time and opening a copy on Christmas morning.

Bad Machinery, the spinoff from Scary Go Round is well worth your time.

I hate the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie. It is absolutely horrible.

I used to collect toys, I found it too expensive and sold/loftified most of my collection. I went through a period of collecting nerdy t-shirts for a while and I seem to collect copper coins without really realising it. For now I'll just settle with collecting memories in my head.

Please, please, please stop watching the X-Files at the end of season seven. If you absolutely demand having more, season eight is passable with an excellent finale. Do not under any circumstances watch to the end of season 9 if you are heavilly invested in the mythology of the show. The mystery and surprise is replaced by basically spoon feeding you the answers in the last ridiculously boring episode appropriately titled The Truth. Anything after David Duchovny left the show rarely hits and often misses. The budget goes up but the core dynamic of the show is totally rocked and damaged. Damn you, Chris Carter! The will they/won't they element was what kept us hooked! I Want to Believe is also wank. So very wank... unless you love terribly tame, boring movies with fantastic music, in which case you'll probably adore it. X-Files is one of my favourite shows. I love it dearly, but there's no denying it starts to get ridiculous toward the end of the alien conspiracy storyline... that is never actually resolved, I'll add. They also do something completely unforgivable toward the end of season nine to a certain trio of amazing nerdy characters. It peaked in terms of character episodes probably around season six. Comedy episodes around season five with occasional flashes of brilliance and experimentation upto season seven. Mythology dies as soon as the word Super Soldier is used. Don't get me wrong, I love this show and grew up loving it. Fox Mulder is one of my favourite television characters ever. I am totally gay for his dry wit. The resolution to the storyline with his sister Samantha is one of the only things in television and film to make me cry. Just be prepared to fall in love with this series and part company with it with a load of great memories and experiences, but ultimately wondering if you really should have bothered.

When Bilbo goes evil in Fellowship of the Ring. Shits me up EVERY TIME.

I maintain downstairs when necessary and I hate being clean shaven with a passion. I am totally incapable of growing decent facial hair but every time I shave I look like a chemo patient. That's it, I've decided I'm never shaving again.

Just tell me where to buy this.

I want those Toy Story Collection figures, Jesus. Who wouldn't want them?

I want to go on a quest in London this weekend to find every item pictured in this thread and consume it all like a fat kid on halloween. Except the Fizzy Jerkz, which as noted no longer exist and are greatly missed.

I've never watched a single Ghibli anime movie, and I consider myself to be someone who likes the occasional anime. I really do need to get around to watching these masterpieces.

Haha, or the URL to this thread.

Happy birthday, dude!

Man, I want to get out to Florida again so bad. America has everything I want from a holiday and nothing I don't. Halloween holiday time will serve you extremely well.

When is someone going to put Guile's Theme over the NE meetup video and make an already epic game of Jenga even more epic?

Woody, Buzz. It's all just covert filth. They knew they'd be appealing to adults from the start.

You have a Tin Tin avatar. This demands my respect.

I always smile when I see this thread title. Thanks to whoever made it that way.

Jenny wasn't even as hot as I remembered her. The show's only redemption is that I can delude myself into thinking Pugwall grows up to become Crocodile Dundee.

You can never know enough about old cartoons. I know who I'm calling if a cartoon question I don't know pops up on Who Wants to be a Millionnaire? I used to spend every Friday night at a previous job chatting about retro cartoons with a colleague. It's always fun to revisit old shows from your youth. I watched half an episode of Pugwall on YouTube earlier. God, I had tapes of that when I was younger. What can I say? Nobody told the guy what to do or say. I thought he was cool. I... still do. Jeeze, that is obscure.

She woke you up, she's lucky she didn't endure a second nightmare fist. I don't have any weird sleep habits. All that comes to mind, and this is barely remarkable, is that I can usually resume a dream from where I left off if I get back to sleep quickly enough.

It might work better if we start limiting everyone to one guess per day or something. Something to keep the stakes high and the game running longer? This is fun and I really don't want it to die out quickly. [edit] I'm sure I just figured out one after racking my brain. Lovely and covert.

I figure as long as one person posts at a time and everyone gets a shot it's cool? Coming up with thumbnails is a hell of a lot of fun. Personally I'm not in it for the points, I just love testing my memory of old shows. I'm afraid my knowledge pales in comparison to the rest of you. Absolutely great choices and nostalgia kicking around in this thread. I figured out what number two was after checking the intro to confirm. Brilliant choice there.
