It's definitely worth it at that price, hell i bought it full price and i still felt i got my moneys worth! As Zechs said it looks amazing and the samurai/wild west theme is such a breath of fresh air in a market choc-full of space marines and ww2 FPSs.

To be fair to Namco, Tales of Vesperia and ToS:DotNW* both bombed in Europe so don't be surprised if they're a little reluctant to release the game in a territory where it's unlikely they'll make a profit. Games companies are businesses at the end of the day. Saying that, I'd love to have another Tales game released here. Hopefully either the PS3 or 3DS version will show up in Europe some day. I'm praying Nintendo offer to help translate/distribute it like Symphonia. *Yes I know most gamers here considered it a shit semi-sequel and didn't go near it, but I really enjoyed it. So there! :P

Cool! Looking forward to having my arse handed to me by some pro Wii players
-
Yeah very helpful cheers! I think I might buy the Wii version and rent the 360 one if/when my mates come round with their copies.

Few questions before I decide whether to pick up the Wii version: What co-op options does the Wii version have? Can you do a two-player split screen/online campaign mode? Does it have bots? Lastly, can you go online with more than one player on your console?

So she's leaving the game industry? Hardly surprising given the immature abuse levelled at her by certain sectors of the gaming hardcore. It's a shame as she was actually pretty good at her job.

I too have been replaying Excite Trucks recently - you're right it is an absolute classic! Me and my mates have had so much fun trying to unlock super excite mode, just keep missing out on one or two stars on each of the last three courses but rather than being frustrating its just incredibly addictive to fire it up and try again and again. I think that's pretty rare in today's market. The sad thing is it makes me want Excite Bots even more. I still can't understand why we didn't get it, or why the US never got Disaster or Another Code R. Nintendo are still a very strange company at times.

I'd much rather have the original SNES visuals over a NSMB makeover any day!

I think Nintendo don't have some games on their game database - I had the same problem. SOme games just pop up out of nowhere so I guess they just add them when they get time? On topic: Can't wait for PES 2011, but a bit torn between starting a whole new game and continuing my awesome Mii team in 2010.

I'm gonna start playing this today, it's been sitting on my shelf taunting me for far too long!

That reminds me: Bomboozle! Only £1.79 on the app store Seriously though, it's a great block puzzler. There's a lite version available too so you can give it a try for free.

We can change the world, one copy at a time!

I've finally got my iPhone 4 on Orange PAYG - does anyone know how to request a micro-sim? I have a sim card for my 3GS but obviously it doesn't fit in the new one One other question: I lost my 3gs ages ago and only synced it with my laptop after having it for about a week - I've synced my new one but im missing tonnes of podcasts and apps, is there any way of downloading these again without having to fork out loads of money all over again? Cheers in advance

"Thanks. I'm sold. Gonna buy it now." "After seeing this in a HMV for a measley 6 quid, I've now purchased this." "I did the right thing. I bought this for my friend for his birthday. Come September, I shall do the same for myself. It makes me feel manly buying two copies of things." N-Europe Forums: Bringing gamers to their senses since 1908.

Didn't Vesperia bomb outside Japan though? I'm not surprised they won't bring them out in the west, but I'm really disappointed we won't be seeing English language versions. If Nintendo didn't have Last Story and Xenoblade to concentrate I think they probably would have looked into translating Graces.

As much as I'd love to have Kirby sitting under my Xmas tree come Dec 25th, there's far too much for me to play through already. It'll make next year start with a bang anyway. It's not like we have much else for Q1 2011 to look forward to. Yet....

I'd completely forgotten about picking this up...Most of the gaming stores around me have gotten rid of any new Wii games (it's pre-owned or nothing), so a case of out of sight out of mind for me. Will get it once I've cleared a bit more of Mario Galaxy 2 and Rune Factory.

Arc Rise Fantasia (Marvelous/Image Epoch)

I managed to get through most of Baten Kaitos without realising I could switch off the voice track - I'm sure I can stomach the same with ARF. -
With Tales of Graces not getting a release over here Xenoblade is one of my last big hopes for another awesome Wii RPG.

Hope you like it! Fragile Dreams really struck a chord with me (I know the gameplay issues might put some gamers off), there were some beautiful moments and so much emotion in the scripting, performaces and cut-scenes. One of my all-time fave games )

Whatever the hardware manufacturers do with their next consoles will encorporate more digital download capabilities to combat lost sales from 2nd hand sales. Maybe Nintendo are thinking of offering full games via downloads for their next console?

You took the words out of my mouth! Wasn't the patent for sending some kind of signal from the handheld device to the stylus to make it rumble? Presumably through some kind of conduction battery thing (not sure of thats the right term!).

Would be nice, but I reckon this is just for their demo pods.

Anyone got any thoughts on Ghibli's next project, based on the borrowers? There's a new trailer just been released, I can't wait for the UK release!

I think one more Galaxy, then Miyamoto will look into fitting a true co-op experience into the next Mario iteration. I'd personally love to see a return to the open worlds of Mario 64, but on a grander scale and with interlocking levels (a bit like Banjo Tooie).
