If you think about it in terms of game structureMetroid and Zelda are very similar and have been since their inception (albeit from different viewpoints) so for Zelda to go the way of Metroid Prime would't be such a bad thing. I have always found the FIFA games to be enjoyable, 98 and 04 are my favourite iterations. The arcadey feel reminds me of ISS 64 which is still my favourite footy game ever. And I find FIFA gets played more than Pro Evo when I have my mates round for a spot of gaming as they find it easier to play.

This happened on mine, I pushed the switch one day and it snapped off the casing and disappeared into the depths of my cube. I had to hack the back of the grill off and tape the switch permanently on US, luckily I only had one JAP game. If the actual switch is broken you might be able to change it yourself or get a friend who knows a bit about electronics to do it for you. Otherwise...well...

The fact that the Rev control system is perfect for FPS makes me wish Nintendo had kept Rare on-board. I'm sure with Rare's excellent art capabilities and Nintendo's innovation they could have changed the genre just like with GE and given an extra reason for casual gamers to buy one.

If any game could raise interest amongst non-gamers then it has to be Wario Ware. Although a compilation of the best boards and mini-games of the Mario Party series wouldalso get my vote.

I gotta admit I was totally gutted when I first saw it, then I started thinking of the great potential and loved it. The IGN mock-up of the shell controller was the icing on the cake for me. Give people time to adjust, i'm sure once they get a chance to have a go themselves they'll change their mind.

I had a few similar ideas aaaaaages ago, it makes me smile to think I wasn't far off Nintendo's thinking. Around the time of the N64 I started designing a multi component controller, it had the middle 'trigger' bit of the N64 pad with sockets at the front and sides to add other components like a D-Pad. I was also wondering not so long ago what my TV remote would be like to control games (seeing as how most now have a d-pad type thing on em).
