Not to tell him what to do but shouldn't he complete Act 1 before reviewing it? The questions at the bottom are answered pretty clearly if he just played another hour or so.
Broken Age: Act 1
Fantastic game, I'd suggest if you're a fan of adventure games to pick it up. Stunning visuals, amazing voice acting, clever script etc, really enjoyable. The ending and the realisation of what's going on is pretty cool. Switching between the two characters whenever you want was a great idea, makes you feel like you're watching/directing a film.
Finished this last night, what a cliffhanger! Really really loved it, can't wait for Act 2, hopefully it won't be too long to wait.

I've had the urge to play this game again since pretty much a week or so after my first play through, probably because it's a lot more action based than more recent Zeldas.
Tearaway
The game I, a die-hard Nintendo fan, bought a Vita for, 100% justified. It was just an amazing experience that was over way too soon. Really really hoping they make a sequel, though I'm not sure where the story could go from here. Fantastic.
I think platformers are more my thing to be honest, but adventure/action ones if that makes sense. Trine, the Cave etc... Not really into scary games unless it's things like Limbo. Thanks guys though, will check all that out. Sam and Max looks fun. Really looking forward to Broken Age though.
I'm not really a fan of RPGs, Strategy or FPS games. I like things like adventure point and clicks, The Cave, Trine, LIMBO and on iOS The Room, Galaxy on Fire, EDGE, Machinarium.
Any suggestions guys? I've already purchased Fez and Broken Age.
This. The day Nintendo starts releasing games on touch screen tablets and phones is the day it should just pack up. It'd be f-ing horrible, and when surrounded by all the godawful freemium titles with IAP it wouldn't be great business.
A marketing tool on iOS and Android sounds like a great idea though. Mini games, videos etc sounds good.
Assuming this was meant for the 3D World thread, any order is fine. A tip for the Hisstocrat (and his wife?) section, when you jump on one do your best to land on the other straight away, saves a huge amount of time.
As much as I adored SM3W, I'd like to see Nintendo make Galaxy 3/Universe next. But only as long as it follows Galaxy 1 more in terms of structure and storyline. Galaxy 2 was great obviously but I wasn't so keen on the quantity over quality worlds, the level select, and barebones story. I appreciate Mario games don't need complex storylines but Galaxy 1 felt epic and touching in equal measure.
Wasn't there a huge backlash after Nintendo's E3 presentation? Personally I was really happy with it but there was so much whinging and moaning about Mario and Donkey Kong that a live presentation may have made things even worse.
The sleep function wouldn't change much though, you still have the same amount of in-game time to complete your objectives. Think of it as pausing the game on the N64.
