What really adds to the show and that episode in particular is the wonderful use of Explosions in the Sky. You'd be hard pressed to find better music to fit such emotion.

Who? Is this regards to Cesc or Song? I don't see how it applies to Cesc as we turned him down, don't for a second think he'd have gone to your mob if we'd wanted him. If it's Song, I agree with Ramar. For a supposedly defensive minded midfielder he was woefully forgetful of his duties and far too rash in the tackle. He had some good qualities and played some good matches for us but I don't think too many fans were sad he went, considering the return we got for him too. If you weren't referring to any of this than ignore me completely.

Critically it was, viewership wise it wasn't, hence it requiring Direct TV to make it past 3 seasons.

Friday Night Lights is one of the best TV shows period. It never got the love it deserved. The beauty of the show was nothing to do with sport but the dynamic of kids growing up in a small town which was obsessed with American Football. Each character was completely different and added something unique to the show not to mention TV finest relationship, Coach T and Tami. Even the music was fucking awesome. How I miss thee.

Our squad has some glaring issues, the one place it doesn't is unfortunately where Cesc plays and £30 million is far too much money to be spent strengthening a position that is already very strong. Especially when we have other areas in need of much improvement. That said, Cesc was always one of my favourite players, and it will totally suck to see him wearing another Premiership clubs shirt.

Great final for the neutral. Scoreline flattered Hull, it's not an exaggeration to say we could have had 6, plus a couple of pens. Hull started really well and we looked nervous. Still even when we went 2-0 down I was still confident our superior class would show through. So happy for all the players, especially Rambo. I always knew he'd be a player, even when everyone was writing him off a couple of seasons ago. Did feel a bit cringey watching Vermaelen lift the trophy, more an afterthought nowadays.

I've been working my way through old episodes of Chuck again, such a great show; one of my all time favourite. It still pains me how they chose to end it.

Not too bad Roy but how the fuck does Danny Wellbeck continually get selected for England, he's scored about 3 goals at club level in the past few years. Questioning the pick of Chris Smalling, he's hardly set the world alight. Defence looks like a bit of a weak point but plenty of youth for a change.

Seems to be a massive difference of opinion regarding this film. I saw it on Friday and wasn't overly impressed. I absolutely loved the first one and I felt this one just tried to do a little too much aka Spiderman 3. It had its good points, the effects were amazing and the chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone was off the charts.

It wasn't long ago that Liverpool fans used to tell me there league form suffered because the extra commitments they had in domestic and european competition.

Really can't see past the Canadians tomorrow, they're just superior in every position. I've seen people talk about them being run close by Latvia, they really weren't. Sometimes you run into a hot goaltender, and the Latvian really was, stopping 55 shots. Everyone talked about the American's high powered offence and the Canadian's shut them down completely. When you consider that Sidney Crosby has to yet to make a telling contribution, I don't think that bodes well for the Swedes. I don't think their defence is good enough to keep out Crosby and co for 60 minutes.

I have no problem with the sending off, I have a problem with the rule in the first place. I see Chezzers might face action for his offensive gesture when he went off. I wonder what'll be done to Robben then for gobbing on Sagna. He's a fucking scumbag, there's not a player I detest more in football than him, even the way he runs is fucking annoying.

Alex Salmond isn't fit to run a chip shop, let alone a country. The Yes campaign has been a joke from the start, whenever a serious question is asked, it's rarely answered, they simply decide to point fingers at the current setup to divert attention from themselves.

Cannot wait for the Ice Hockey, I reckon it will be the Swedes taking Gold. They've got some roster and the North American sides don't usually fare very well on the larger ice.

Not usually one for resolutions but one I do have for next year is to learn how to Ski. Always wanted too, never got round to it. I will next year.

@jayseven Although I don't pretend understand how difficult that must be for you, I had problems with post concussion syndrome for a few months a couple of years ago and one side effect was almost permanent tunnel vision. It lasted for a good few months, I couldn't see anything that wasn't straight in front of me and I couldn't look at anything with any sort of motion or bright light without getting sick. Feel for you man.

Do you count Spurs amongst them?
