I've used Android devices and have found them pretty good and well supported. I've got a pretty large iTunes collection, so that probably tips in favour of the iPhone, in what ever guise the newest one comes in.

I'm not sure to be honest, it's a hard one. I see both sides of the argument. Perhaps life in prison? as in solitary confinement, no perks, no parole, basically no existence. Is there such a thing as a punishment that is too harsh for taking someone else's life?

Not at all, it's just my view. I just don't see the rehabilitation route as Justice.

So i've been thinking off late, as the expiration of my contract expires, what phone to get next. I love my Blackberry and have had nothing but good things out of it but I'll think i'll go back to the iPhone. I just can't look past the App store. There's just so many apps on there that I could actually have a use for in every day life. I can't say the same for the Blackberry App store.

That's fair enough and it's quite big of you to be able to do that. I couldn't. I'd have to care, i'd be linked to that guy for the rest of my life. I'd love to be able to forget about him but I couldn't and I just couldn't stomach knowing he was living as free a life as I was.

Hah, that's eerily similar music tastes to myself. The eerie part being the Lighthouse Family. I still get goosebumps when I hear the opening bongos on Ocean Drive.

Yes but is that punishment enough for what he did? Re-packaging him and sending him back out into the world. He could quite easily be cured so to speak but i'd be damned well pissed off I was the victims family and I saw that happen.

If you're going to direct something at me, please at least have the common decency to get the 5 letter username right. I apologise if I offended people and probably didn't get my point across in the way that I should have. We all have our own opinions obviously and they are what they are.

First off, it's JonSt. Secondly, i'm not attempting to start an argument. It simply annoys me that someone states having the old stuff or familiar franchises is a bad thing when it's the same policy that the other handheld maker uses. I also don't understand how that can be justified by the other handheld maker because they're including new control methods. I'm pretty sure the rear touch screen is new on a handheld gaming device. If I was a fanboy i'd be in the DS board posting shit all the time, I don't.

Not to mention (and i'm absolutely not bashing him for this) he'd probably go out and buy the next Pokemon game with what ever colour of the rainbow they stick on the end of it.

It was rumoured that Mourinho was coming back to Chelsea, It was never going to happen. I'm still failing to see the reasoning for it being awful.

Their trying new mechanics with the same old story lines. I'll take a new adventure over controlling a character slightly different every time. It's not so much sequels as constantly remaking the same game.

Because Nintendo aren't known for recycling the same games. I like how everyone says they'd be better off getting a PS3 than paying for the NGP. The same could be said for the 3DS, which is identically priced as the PS3. 3D is supposed to be the peak of visual entertainment, to me that just doesn't go with the third rate graphics found on Nintendo consoles/handhelds. I guarantee if Nintendo had stuck a rear touch pad on the DS, all the haters would be praising it as COMPLETE INNOVATION. It does worry me that it could get easily dirty but it could have some awesome uses in games.

I like it. I feared it was going to look like the DS clone like prototype images. Thank god it doesn't, i've always liked the PSP design. I've no interest in 3D on a portable screen, so it will be the PSP2 or whatever it's gonna be called for me. IT ALSO HAS UNCHARTED. WE HAVE TO HELP THEM.

How do you know this? There's no reports saying the child was mentally deranged. Your assuming he is because surely an 11 year old child isn't capable of such things. For all you know, he was thinking "I've had enough of you bitch, time to eat some lead". Every case is different, you don't know how advaned that child was for his age, he could hav quite easily been aware of what he was doing, or yes he could have a serious mental health issue. If he's got problems, then by all means give him the help he needs. If this was completely pre-meditated and he knew exactly he was going, fry him on the chair, child or not. Murder is still murder.

Gonna watch the Cup game and the immediately hit the sack to get up for the Andy Murray match at around 4am. I'm pretty confident about good outcomes in both.

Great performance from RVP and Cesc yesterday. Al Habsi is a very underrated keeper. Everytime i've seen him he's made some absolutely outstanding stops, such a shame he plays for such an inept team.

Yesterday was a bit of an adventure. The fine people at Work decided to book the wrong date for the return flights from Heathrow, I did wonder why the machine wouldn't let me check in. Suppose I just assumed that person whose job it is to book travel would be capable of such simple tasks as booking the right dates. Anyway, we were put on standby for the last flight of the day, which luckily had 2 empty seats. It was a fun couple of days in London but could have done without the added drama. It didn't really help matters that I got in at midnight and had to be up for work at 4am.
