  1. RVP's interview after the game was class. What do you expect from the Swiss. Shit during the war, shit tonight
  2. Apart from being pissed off with their play-acting, Barcelona are a class apart. The stats don't lie and can't really say much about them that hasn't been said before. Could we have held them with 11? I certain we could have. For all Barca's brilliance, all their goals were of our own making and i'm sure we could have taken it home. Shame we'll never have known.
  3. They are, due to being funded and airing on the BBC which obviously has no breaks. As opposed to The Pacific which aired on Sky, with a bazillion breaks.
  4. Band of Brothers is simply an unrivalled show. The acting, production, music, special effects, it's all top notch. I prefered BoB because it seemed more focused on the characters. Having the one major character throughout (Dick Winters) made easier to keep tabs on who everyone was.
  5. See, I completely disagree with his man-management ability. No on can doubt what he's achieved in the game and his obvious skill but I don't see man-management as one of them. How many players have been forced to leave at their peak because Ferguson has fallen out with them? Off the top of my head, Van Nistelrooy, Beckham, Stam, Heinze etc.
  6. It's an absolute embarrassment not only to the club but everyone associated with Man Utd that Ferguson decided to ban all media interaction after the game. I cannot understand why he always acts like a spoilt little brat every time his side looses. Fair enough he can be unhappy if he gets a dodgy decision but his side were totally outclassed. Oh well, he'll be done by the FA for this too as you're not allowed to simply ban media interaction.
  7. Those IRC stats are awesome, seems like forever ago I used to frequent Quakenet.
  8. Such a shame you had to ruin it with that cardigan.
  9. Mulgrew had a shocker? That's news to me, I thought he did everything well, wasn't really troubled. He had one moment with a header back to the keeper but it wasn't a major deal.
  10. Yep. It's not as if there were that many malicious fouls, just stupid tackles all the time that kept interrupting the flow of the game.
  11. I always said I'd wait until they added multitasking before I bought one, then I decided to wait for the new one. I'll be getting mine in white with the black cover. Just need to decide on what size to get, will definitely be getting it with 3G though.
  12. Luiz was a lucky boy but I fail to see all these other decisions Chelsea apparently got. Typical Ferguson, his side looses and the only excuse he offers is the referee, not his own sides woeful 2nd half performance. I'm sure he'll escape any ban for slagging off the officials though, the FA don't like that pesky word when it comes to the red half of Manchester
  13. And in standing his ground he's tripped up a Chelsea player. Do you expect Zhirkov to try and jump round him? It's matters not if he meant it or not, it's still a foul in the box.
  14. He could have removed his leg, he had more than enough time to do so. It might not have been the most blatant penalty, but it was one nonetheless.
  15. It's taken him a bit of time, Koscielny didn't exactly set the world alight when he first arrived. Massive blow to lose RVP for the Barca game but it's time Bendtner's performance matched his ego. About tonight's game, I thought Chelsea thoroughly deserved the win. Man Utd goal was a good one but they can have no complaints about whether Luiz should have been sent off, Rooney shouldn't even have been playing. I thought the penalty was a stone waller, Zhirkov had no where to go but over his leg, he's not going to go out his way to avoid it.
  16. A Frenchman walks into a pole...
  17. I've no problem with gloating when your team's involved. It's embarassing when people are doing whose team exited the cup months ago.
  18. As i've said to a few people, i've no complaints with result. I thought both teams were fair winners, just hugely disappointing for it to end the way it did. I was just praying that Jack Wilshere was gonna head butt that little shit Ferguson at the end
  19. I did say something on Facebook but have since deleted said item, i'll just keep my thoughts to myself.
  20. I've had time to calm down and digest it and one thing has me thoroughly pissed off. Not the game or the result, I think both teams staked a claim for the win. Not even the way the game was lost. No, what has me pissed off is the Man Utd fans who decide to fill my inbox full of useless jarbs and insults about a competition that they exited months ago. i've no problem having a good natured argument with a bit of banter with a Utd fan but I've simply no time for the idiots, which of course isn't all of them but a vast majority.
  21. I'm eagerly anticipating kick-off. Obviously gutted that Cesc can't play but i'm sure the lads will get the win for him.
  22. I've never used it and and it will continue that way.
