  1. He's only played 13 games in European competiton. The guy outscored Andy Carroll in the Championship playing for a much weaker side than Carroll's Newcastle. The simple fact is that if he wasn't playing in Scotland, he'd be in that team. Bar Rooney, every other English striker is an inferior player, take that from someone who has watched Hooper since he came to Scotland. His movement is second to none, he excels playing up top without support and he's a pure finisher.
  2. Absolutely. The Scottish argument holds no validity when he's scoring in the best competition in football and he's the only English one doing it.
  3. Whatever Rodgers is doing, he's still a football manager. To listen to some people he's creating some world revolution that will only be referred to as 'The Plan'. I know it's as much the media as anything but it is becoming slightly annoying when it's referenced every 5 minutes. It's not like he's creating total football.
  4. In the next year or 2, Allen will be the best midfielder in the league. You can quote me on that. The Dog, 29/09/2012 You have a real gift for spin, ever thought of a career in Politics?
  5. For someone who has never really watched Doctor Who, where would be the best place to start? Not really interested in the old series, more the Tennant/Smith era.
  6. A couple of weeks back the majority were calling for AVB's head.
  7. I wouldn't disagree with that. Hospital drama's aren't usually filled with happiness but Grey's does have a reputation for having so many unnecessary bad things happen that other great shows didn't (ER).
  8. Bit hasty. It's not easy to impress when you're getting chucked on with 10 minutes to go in every game. He should have scored absolutely but he's in no way another goat like the Moroccan. He can actually hold the ball up.
  9. We were awful but still deserved something from the game. Chelsea were good at keeping the ball when on top but did look dodgy when under pressure. Unfortunately we lost all our momentum when well set with silly mistakes.
  10. Private Practice is a weak ass relation to Grey's, it's like they've just taken the same formula and moved it from Wet Seattle to Sunny California. It blows. I love Grey's, the early seasons especially. It was the only medical show that ever got close to ER (not too close though). I do agree with the main criticism of causing far too much unnecessary drama. It's like someone finally got a break, had something good happened to them, then bam; they've got a drug addiction. Met the man of your dreams? lol, you ain't have children so don't sweat it. Obviously the show needs drama and it does it very well but sometimes it does come across as overly forced. I'm glad they killed off George, he was the most pointless character in the show. Everytime i saw him on screen I wanted to cause him harm.
  11. Excess amount of anything is generally not too smart, in moderation it's fine. In my experience people trying to lose weight often try to eat like saints and they wonder why they slip after a few days. As long as you don't go overboard it's fine.
  12. Arshavin was immense. Not to Wengy, play him in the no 10 role. Suddenly the squad looks massive and everyone's favourite new no 10 returns to match action on Monday.
  13. To be fair studies can prove that anything that is considered good is actually bad and vice versa.
  14. My first thought when I saw Victoria for the first time back in season 1 was "What a rack". All these years, those sentiments still stand.
  15. White pasta is bad, whole meal Pasta is highly recommended. It's one of the staples of a Mediterranean diet, which is why those Italians live for so long. A lot will depend on how active you are. I'm always on my feet or exercising so I need a decent amount of carbs. As above, alcohol really is the worst when it comes to trying to lose weight, it's just empty calories. People will always say cut out fizzy drinks and some people prefer to do that but there's absolutely nothing wrong with diet coke, virtually no calories and trace amounts of sweetener.
  16. You won't if you don't change your diet. (i'm guessing it's shit)
  17. It's amuses how many people dislike Michael Bay.
  18. I think Rhodes will do it but until he does make the grade, you can't only speak for his potential against proven top flight players. I'd also Sturridge is a bit untested. In the sense that he doesn't up front for Chelsea, he's always wide. I've no doubt the guy could do it but I'd like to see him get a run playing as centre forward.
  19. I wasn't suggesting you purchase a new computer. Merely interested at such major differences between the two versions.
  20. I think you need to take into account the teams he's played for Burnley and Wolves. He's now playing in a better side and his play at the moment speaks for itself.
  21. I can't speak for how it works on Windows but i've never once had a problem with it randomly adding apps and editing playlists unless I changed things myself. I think i've needed to update iTunes twice or so in the past 6 months, not really outrageous. Again, this is on a Mac though, may differ on an inferior OS Windows
  22. I don't really rate Welbeck, so I'd take Fletcher, he's used to scoring goals for shit teams, so would fit right in for us. You'd have to take Carroll because he's played in the premiership, even if it was only one decent season. It'll be interesting to see how Rhodes fairs if Blackburn gain promotion.
  23. Right, allow me to clear up without any personal insults. Discounting England because Hodgson doesn't seem to be interested in playing two up top. If Scotland were to play the aforementioned Rhodes and Fletcher up top, I would rate it higher than anything the other home nations could field. I apologise if i didn't make that clear. Now, on a completely different tangent, If England were playing 2 up top that didn't include Rooney, say Defoe and Crouch. Would people class that as better than Rhodes and Fletcher?
  24. And I see you continue to miss the point and argue about something completely different. Abstract insults? Before you stated anything, you quoted the following. Are you having a laugh? Your opinions on footballl stagger my mind! But i'm the one that lacks debate ability.
