I've got a lot of female friends, and i guess i'm in the friend zone. However, unlike the majority here, i'm far too into myself at the moment for a proper relationship, I've got a couple of friends who can be persuaded after a drink or two too let their hair down, if you get my drift. Sorry but that's bull, any monitor can display HD as long as it can do widescreen and has the necessary connections.

Don't see the point myself, since the formats are basically the same. Just tit for tat. I can do with large Blu-Ray storage space now. Plus the fact that there isn't any hd-dvd drives available for PC's.

No LCD run's 720p at that resolution since it's not even widescreen. However they do run 720p at 1280×720.

No, you would need component inputs, to which that TV does not.

No, DVI and HDMI are both comparable quality wise, the only difference being that HDMI can carry audio as well as video, where as DVI can only carry video, hence HDMI being the successor to DVI.
