That's almost a carbon copy of what happened to my brother, 'cept there was about 4 of them punching him. Although he's a couple of years older than me, i'm pretty protective of my brother and will easily loose it if I see someone hurting him. I got a broken nose out of it, but I manage to get my fair share of punches in, enough so that we've never been bothered again.

The load times for the PS3 are non exsistent. The load time for the Samsung BDP-1000 are over a minute.

Off course you'll notice, 2ghz is a lot nippier than 1.8ghz. 1.8 is still good enough, especially when you're running a low resource hog like OSX.

400watt would be fine Tom for what you need. Just make sure to get a decent one like Tagan or Seasonic.

I've been in a similar situation before, it took a hell of a lot but I resisted it. I put myself in his shoes and wondered what I would feel like if it happened to me. Looking back on it now, I wish I had gone for it.

I scoff at certain people who belittle high definition. It's cute en all that you're going to stick with your Wii, but once your used to HD - there isn't any turning back.

There's gonna be a third format out soon from Warner called True HD, which features HD-DVD and Blu Ray versions of the same film on the same disc.

The great thing about the PS3 is unlike the PS2 which has a cack dvd player, The PS3 is actually a very good blu ray players, it's load times for example are far quicker than that of the Samsung stand alone one.
