Athough I agree with you Jasper, it's not your place to tell people what to think. You do seem to think your king of all things mac.

A mac won't last any longer than a PC nowadays, being that they use the same hardware now.

Yes, they are expensive, but what people dont see and something apple should definetly market more is what is built into OSX. Seriously, i doubt there is anything like iLife on windows and it comes completely free. So a good deal of that 'expense' is on great software.

I use to like linkin park, but then they started pricking about with the way they record music. I mean, I remember reading an interview where they recorded a song then changed it so much, they couldn't figure how the fuck too play it live. I just can't stand 'produced' music.

I suppose it comes down to always being on the defensive, Having too constantly defend macs from PC fanboy's. Some people obviously like to show what the mac can do, seeing as the majority think it's useless. I generally tend t sit on the fence, in that I can see the great advantages of a mac, but I also know it's downfalls. Although I might prefer macs, I also like PC's - hell, i know a lot more about PC's than I do macs.

But the macbook pro looks so un-Apple :heh My macbook had the beautiful apple white we long associate them with. I say 'did', because it's slightly covered in shite now.

Actually Jasper, you can make websites with iWeb, even without a .mac account. You just use your own ftp and webspace.

Core duo is the best cpu around at the moment, but turion x2's are not bad at at all. Depending on what your budget it is, you could either go for dedicated graphics module or integrated. ATi has some decent integerated solution's kicking around at the moment, a lot better than Nvidia had. If you're going for something dedicated, I'd head for Nvidia. Dabs, Ebuyer, Komplett, blah blah.

In all honesty your not gonna get much for £250 gaming wise, i'd try an integrated platform like the AMD 690G, which features an x700 class GPU, and built in HDMI. Or buy a Mac.
