Not that I have noticed, unless there's a trick/gesture/setting I've missed. I use these, which have been good and certainly haven't hampered charging performance etc: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Ailun-MacBook-ChromeBook-Devices/dp/B074P2VPB6/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1530135911&sr=1-3&keywords=ailun+usb+c The fact that I even have to use them at all is stupid though. Like, I get the push for USBC, but even Apple themselves seem non-committed to it, so it's pointless not to have a single USB socket on there. The Macbook Pro is a beautiful bit of kit though. Flawed and way overpriced, but beautiful.

Fake Apple fanboy aside (I generally hate most of Apple's stupid decisions*), I do love the Apple mouse. I've had it since January and have charged it 2 or 3 times, which only took about 30 mins. Plus the swipe scroll being both horizontal and vertical is huge benefit to me. Ergonomics did take a while to get used to, but I'm fine with it now. *Like the Macbook pro having no standard USB ports (so brave, so courageous), yet still supplying the Apple Mouse (which was released after the Macbook Pro) with a USB charger and no USBC adaptor. Fucking dense.

*Looks at my Apple mouse*

The Official N-Europe top #10 games of all time
Goafer replied to dan-likes-trees's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Mine: 1. Skies of Arcadia - Dreamcast or Gamecube Pretty much my favourite game world. Normally, once I'm done with a story based game, I won't go back to it because I already know the story, but I keep coming back to SoA once in a while, just to spend time in the world. Great game with a real sense of adventure. 2. Sega Rally Championship - Saturn Anyone who knows me knows that I love cars and racing games don't get better than the original Sega Rally. There's only 4 tracks and 3 cars, but I could race them all day. Went back to it recently and it just feels great, despite being over 20 years old. I still enjoy modern racing games, but I'm yet to find a game that handles as well as Sega Rally. 3. Persona 4 Golden - PS Vita I do like my RPGs and this was my first venture into the Persona series. The gameplay wasn't the best, but the characters and story really make up for it. When I finished it, it felt like I was leaving friends behind, but I had a bunch of great memories from my time with the game. 4. Shenmue - Dreamcast Whilst I do struggle when going back to it, when I played this back in my teenage years it was one of the best gaming experiences I've had. It really felt like a real world, with the NPCs going about their daily routine and the world moving on with or without you. Shenmue III's announcement is easily my favourite moment in gaming, as it was such good news and completely unexpected after so long without a Shenmue game. 5. Shadow of the Colossus - PS2, PS3 and PS4 If SoA is my favourite game world, Shadow of the Colossus is a very close second. The feeling of being alone in such a beatiful, calm environment has never been matched for me. The moral ambiguity of killing the Colossi is also something that I've not seen recreated as successfully (although Nier: Automata comes close). 6. Panzer Dragoon Saga - Saturn The game itself is great, but it's the games rarity and my personal story with it that makes it such a cherished game for me. I played the first disc back in the 90s when it was given away with the Official Sega Saturn Magazine. I loved the game, but due to the rarity and it's ever-increasing value, it was always out of my reach. about 20 years later, I finally took the plunge and paid £170 for a copy. Having waited so long and paid so much for a single game made it a much more significant event to finally play and complete it. Maybe the unicorn status of the game boosted my perceived enjoyment of it, but to me it was like finally meeting my idol and it did not disappoint. 7. Sonic Adventure - Dreamcast The first Dreamcast game I played and although it's a buggy mess at times and the story is a bit crap, I can still play it and enjoy it nowadays. It because a tradition of @Mike1988uk and I to race each other on it as our first game during the Extra Life events. This is mainly a nostalgia choise for me, as I do struggle to praise it as a game. 8. Persona 5 - PS4 I didn't really want to include a second Persona game on here, but I just loved 5 too much. The characters aren't as memorable as 4's, but the gameplay is a huge leap forward and the presentation is second to none. Every visual and audio choice works perfectly to create a fantastic game world and the badass feeling as you make your final approach in each palace is probably my favourite game moment of this generation so far. 9. Fallout 3 - XBox 360 and PS3 I always loved the Fallout games, but 3 made it a world I could lose myself in. In fact, I loved the post-apocalyptic setting so much that I got into Urbex (exporing derelict buildings), which in turn influenced my photography. 10. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - Various I played this for years when it first game out and I think it was the game that started my fondness for the skater/rock/alternative style. Later THPS games added better gameplay elements, but the levels hold up and are some of my favourites of the series. The soundtrack is also my favourite licenced soundtrack of all time. Honourable Mentions Witcher 3 Burning Rangers Christmas Nights Phantasy Star Online/Universe Project Gotham Racing 4 Metal Gear Solid 4 Red Dead Redemption GTA:V The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Nier: Automata The Mass Effect series -
Finished this yesterday.

Slide your address into my DMs and I'll get them tested and sent out. Just checked DHT and it doesn't have a manual. Disc isn't as bad as I thought though, so I imagine it'll work fine. Will actually test it though. Box isn't too bad, but does have a tatty sticker on it.
-
You say that now, but Christmas is only 6 months away! I also meant for free by the way, unless postage ended up being silly. Which reminds me, I also have copies of Sega Rally and Die Hard Trilogy going free if anyone wants them. CEX wouldn't take them as the discs were a bit scratched. They should still work though and I'll test them when I can be arsed.
-
I just checked my demo discs as I know I have a few duplicates. Unfortunately I don't have a spare SF2, but I do have a duplicate Christmas Nights if you want it?

1st person works better for shooting, whereas 3rd works better for melee. I imagine this will feature more shooting than melee, so the 1st person perspective makes sense. I generally prefer 3rd person, but I can see why they've chosen the way they have.

Huh, so this is what it looks like when someone tries to paint Microsoft in a pro-consumer light. Don't think I've ever seen it before.
-
Did Sony do something to you....and then announce it way too early or something? It's known in the industry as the Reverse Yewtree. It's a real powerplay if you can pull it off.

I believe we've also missed the biggest flaw in Fallout 76: No V.A.T.S.
-
After my complete loss of interest in Fallout 76, this has now become my most anticipated upcoming game. Looks absolutely great, plus CD Projekt Red seem like my sort of developer.
-
From the E3 stuff, it looks better than I expected, but it's still not for me. The opportunity for griefing is just too much. If I wanted to hide from every player I see, I'd play GTA Online in a public lobby. Hell, hiding won't even work in this thanks to the Nuclear weapons. I'll keep an eye on it in case it somehow gets better, but I won't hold my breath.

Just got ending A. I'm enjoying it a lot, but I still feel like I'm just starting out and haven't been fully drawn into the story yet. The gameplay is fantastic though. I love how it switches to 2D and twin stick shooter. As said before though, I t does feel a bit outdated in places. If I had to sum up the game so far in one sentence, I'd say it was the best PS2* game I've ever played. *Not a typo. I'm also glad I'm playing it on normal. I don't have time for hard games and normal has been pretty easy without being patronising. Only died once when my auto heal thing didn't kick in soon enough. Got a weird glitch on the space station too. The camera got snagged, so I was controlling 2B off screen and getting further away. Because she was too far away, the game unloaded the area the camera was stuck at so I was just looking at blank space with some elements still there. Did a full lap of the station and the camera reattached itself to 2B and everything was fine again.
-
Oh god yeah. It does feel a bit outdated in that regard. It almost feels like a PS2 game in places.
-
Just picked this up to see what all the fuss is about and I don't think I've ever played a game where the travelling felt so good. There's something about the speed that 2b runs at and the way she leans into corners that's just right. I'm also getting a Shadow of the Colossus vibe, as I'm not entirely sure I'm the good guy and I'm reluctant to kill the machines.

I was initially excited, then I realised/found out the following: Fallout 4 was a bit shit. The fact that this isn't Fallout 5 implies a spinoff. People are speculating this will be online. One interesting thing people have said is that Vault 76 was one of the first to open, so this must be a prequel. Also, the Pipboy is an early model, the same as in Fallout 1.

He is the master of stealth, so I can see how it would appear that way to the casual observer.

Got my copy of Twin Snakes signed by David Hayter:

I remember seriously doubting myself when I spent £170 on my copy. So glad I did. It's not mint, but it's pretty good. Inner cases are almost mint and the cardboard sleeve has a small, well repaired rip in it. I plan to get the expensive games soon before they get too silly. I think Shining Force 3 will be next.
