    I see no real problem with this, but it's been a bit sloppily reported: It's more that they remove the nucleus from a cow egg and put a human nucleus in it's place. That being mitochondrial DNA, which only affects mitochondria. And yes, this is technically a chimera... but so what? There are natural examples of chimerism, for instance in many twins.

    I much prefer shows with main plots over episodic ones, but both can be done well - a great example of a good episodic show is Mushi-shi.

    I imagine the difference is that it's not the modders who are profiting.

    I'd imagine it's a mixture of that, and the fact that game mods are probably a grey area for copyright, because you're using someone else's code or whatever.

    Snap... and I'm supposed to be taking 3 exams today. I did the first, and answered maybe 5% of the paper, even though I could tell that I should be able to do the questions. So yeah, they let me go back to my room instead. Wow, I'm totally zoning out, I can't concentrate on anything...

    So yeah, I want a cheap digital camera. I'm talking really cheap, like around £50. (if such a thing is possible) I'm (obviously) not too bothered about quality, and having a display screen would be a bonus but not a necessity. I'd have a hunt around myself, but I don't want to end up paying for a lump of plastic with a mini USB port... So I request your pro skills!

    I'm going to hijack this thread with another request - I need an 80's costume for Friday, preferably homemade and costing less than £10. ...yeah, and obtainable within Cambridge. Current plan: Rickroll everyone. But how to go about such a costume?

    Yeah, it's just a random sidestory that got sent out in light novel form to people who collected cupons from all the manga... they decided to make it into a one episode special. Also, Hauu~ subs aren't too bad, I'd just go with them if I were you. (maybe see the WinD subs if you watch it again)

    Talking of Phoenx Wright 2, earlier today I found a piece of paper where I'd written out an entire timeline for the last case, for deductive purposes. It was back in Easter that I did this, so that was fun to find.

    Today's xkcd comic reminded me of Redwall, which I used to read a fair bit when I was younger. When you think back to it, it's amazing how similar all the books were, and how any vermin are automatically evil. I also found a hilarious article on something awful about the series, which had me laughing for ages. Discuss.
