  1. ^ That was the precise situation. I told him to live a little and to stop pretending the world his parents made for him was in any way real.
  2. Absolute word.
  3. ^ I think that's semi in response to me, but anyway there's something I wanted to add. Here it is: This fairly intelligent but nerdy guy followed up by saying 'It's weird, why would people want to read this?'. Chunder inducing.

No thanks, that looks fucking horrible.
  5. I don't think it's ego stroking, I think it's just a good way of showing that comparatively you're not an utterly judgemental prick like the majority of the world's population. I heard a couple of people in Sixth Form discussing books they were required to read and they were describing them as disturbing and 'not normal', going on to say they thought they were bad books. I think it's better to analyse something for what it is and note its merits rather than dismiss it because the ideas were presented strangely. Like others I think this is a really good topic and it feels like there's infinite things to discuss.
  6. Detective modes: They're like laboratory experiments because they lack ecological validity. They take you out of the game. The function of these devices is understandable but they're too forced and compromise the experience in my view. Silly games trying to tackle multiple complex systems with one framework. Detective sniffing to be pulled off well demands very special attention. I know Hitman isn't a detective game and this isn't the main 'mechanic', but it's not an engaging or fun one in my view. At least I haven't liked it in other titles.
  7. Which brings into question why they're shoehorned into a game when the tech isn't there for it. Signposting objects, for me anyway, removes the purpose of clue-hunting style activities. The only types of game it works in are point and click affairs where you can combine items and use logic, or in something Heavy Rain where being the detective isn't as much a gameplay element as it is suspenseful exploration. I can only really see a detective game working in a first person perspective with a narrower FOV, where instead of aiming weapons you control your arms to interact with objects, and cycle through items to experiment and affect the environment. That doesn't happen with video games, the focus always has to be on action. The gameplay has to be universal for consumers to understand and cope with. And the stories always have to be fucking dire.
  8. Nah I'm kicking the pedestal over and catching the pussy on my dick.
  9. It's more honourable to include it in etc because he obviously assumes it's mandatory and thus he expects you to have the courtesy to show that respect towards him for acknowledging this truth. That means he's above all of you.
  10. I agree/thought this ep was good, continyay.
  11. Who's Robin?
  12. I'm talking about the window it's been on the market Sheikz. It's true, that the phrase is shit. Bit of a discrepancy going on between what everyone seems to be inferring. I wasn't assuming you thought it was useless, but bleh. And again the quality of gaming thing is not the discussion. It's insulting to suggest people think more sales = better games. I think everyone here (just about) understands that. Pipe down bitch!
  13. Well whilst unspecified, the term fastest selling still indicates success to some degree. If you sell 10 million products within that short window, it's been well marketed and has proved to have value to consumers. Long term success we'll have to wait and see, I think it's in danger of sinking. (P.S I think Kinect is crap) And I don't think people were getting all shareholder-y, sometimes sales can be interesting to discuss purely from a business perspective. It's when you talk to Zechs that issues arise.
  14. Disagree with Sheikah on last comment. Would give reasons but I'm too hardcore for that.
  15. Too much Rez would be any reminder that you exist. So yeah, that's infinitely too much.
  16. It's like that except reviews are only three sentences long. And they're gonna be way better than yours :P Trolol. I'm wondering if I should scrap the rating thing and instead keep a hall of fame for the ones I really enjoy. @ Rez > No.
  17. K.B Shigsy, if you were being realistic, what scores would you give your own games? K.B I agree! If we're talking Famitsu ratings that is
  18. I get the impression she wears the same clothes. A filthy sket with more STIs than you'd find in Africa.
  19. and then fuck her too.
  20. Call yourself hardcore after X-Men and Avatar? Pfft. Try The Human Centipede 2 mayyte.
  21. I think that actually, probably yes - Elena is likely fitter in all honesty tbh. She may not have as nice a rack, or as nice an arse but... Hell what am I saying?
  22. Please! I'm making a media review blog on Tumblr and I need a minimalist background. I've only just made it: http://threesents.tumblr.com/ I'd like the middle column to remain white for easy reading, but the sides need to be prettied up a notch. Perhaps something cliche like mini sketches or pictures of film reels/gamepads/books etc could go there. Or I was thinking perhaps leave these spaces for a bunch of my favourite characters/symbols from things I've read and seen, I realise this wouldn't really be minimalist but at least it would be personal. If anyone would be willing to persue this dream I'll list these things in a post. I'm crap at this collage stuff and getting the dimensions all correct and proper, so I'd massively appreciate your help Perhaps you have ideas? Merci!
  23. Elena's better tbh.
  24. On the Playstation side they showed cool games that I already knew would be cool. There were no smaller unique titles, as it stands this year I'm only getting Unch, Res3, Journey and Dark Souls - if those latter two are in fact 2011 titles. Haven't bought a game since last October. The only thing remotely of interest after everything died down was Amy. But I haven't seen much from that yet. Were it not for Jeremy I would've lost faith in human-kind. As a side-note: I disagree with WiiU
  25. In need of a good shag more like.
