OMG they did have that in the original albeit without the awesome music. However, the hype for that gun was ridiculous. It was so worth it. Last boss got his anus ruptured reaaaal nice like. In monetary terms, 50,000 bolts is no shake. With the exchange rate how it is right now you could afford nine-hundred purple jumpsuits with that shit.

The original was fucktastic. I was kinda disappointed by Tools of Destruction though, as the series drew on it became more and more weapon-focused, which for me was the wrong direction to take because the gadge and the platform controls/options were well built. Under-utilised being the key thing. I would've tried CiT but it kept the crappy weapon levelling system.

I think the longer a 'console era' lasts the more memorable the games become, in the sense that it's easier to identify a game to a certain time period, and developers get time to actually make more memorable, wholesome efforts. Milk it dry ladies and gentleman.

IGN is teh lolz. Greg Miller is un-fucking-believably bad. His reviews are absolute wank. His job title is 'games journalist', but the way I see, he's actually just employed for being a 'bumbling cunt'.
