Can that actually be fixed easily or is it a serious flaw that will mean it needs to be re-developed ? Pretty funny!
-
Yeah I would've liked to de-construct that idea because it is possibly the worst I've heard yet.
-
Not really a graphical triumph. I'm saying I don't mind a lot of violence, blood or gore, it's just the difference it is with actually ripping the head off someone, with your hands, close up, by mashing a button and watching them struggle. It's very different than just slashing or shooting their head off.

God of War isn't teaching anyone anything though, and I think people that play the game will know about real violence and the ethics (wrong word?) behind it. I think yeah it sort of suits the game but it's not as if Kratos isn't mullering people with big axes and machetes left right and centre, thing is I think forcing you to rip a living person's head off, with it being quite realistic, it is too far on my scale. I prefer if death/violence is suggestive and left to you to think about what happened. If you pressed a button and then it cuts to the camera of Kratos holding the head that's be the way I would have it, just seeing the rip occuring in front of you as a result of you making it happen is sickening really. Sorry if I repeated myself a bit.

Yeah I saw that and was like 'What!?' Thought they were releasing PS games on 360 or something.

I'm thinking of getting some PS2 games, I sort of forgot I still had one in the attic and got it down a month ago so I could borrow and play Tekken, and now I have Crazy Taxi again. That ICO game, as well as shadow of the colossus looks great. Not going to bother with God of War, it's only peaking my interest on PS3 because it looks so good, and I'm generally not a fan of 3rd person button mashing (ok, it's slightly more than that) because I've played a few of those games and a couple of levels in it's just tedious. Also, was the game Farenheit good? I think it was you Flamey that said it was brilliant and I'd like a few quirky ones to try out.

You're not allowed to say that apparently Choze. You are at least talking about graphics aren't you? If you think about it GTA looks amazing on both systems.
-
Yeah that looks pretty damn awesome. There needs to be some more coverage of these games, because like that one I didn't know anything about it and E3 is over (is it?). I'm just surprised no big site has a list of all the PSN games that were shown or revealed there.

I had no problem with limbs and heads flying off in Fallout but actually ripping somebody's head off is disgusting, a bit too realistic, and the fact you get a close-up and you have to mash buttons so that his head is ripped off is a bit disgusting. Maybe if the guy you behead is a complete arse and tortures children then yeah, he deserves it.

That sort of stuff isn't doing it for me, I mean gore is good up to a certain extent but personally find that a bit too much.
-
OK these games look promising and will definetly buy one of them. I know PJ games are good but Gravity Crash looks pretty awesome.
-
Sounds good, no doubt Choze will be interested.

I want to play on something tonight. Thinking Socom but then wouldn't mind playing Motorstorm, Worms or KZ.
-
Yeah it's such an awesome game, and I don't even think there are 4 songs lol. At least 2, but it doesn't matter when the 'All I Want' song is so awesome. A couple of the challenges are bloody insane though.
-
Well the positioning is weird but more importantly it's shite. I guess that's actually something they fixed with Go - it has had positive because apparently is much more usable than the normal one.

Piracy for the PSP isn't something that makes the mainstream consumer buy it. There's a fair few that know about it but it isn't a big selling point.
-
Even if the build is as costly as you say it is, it really isn't worth it over the last PSP. It just doesn't have any incredible features, I'd rather spend money on DS and get a ton of good games for it. Even if the graphics aren't as good.
-
Crazy Taxi. So gooooood! Borrowed it after having not played it for ages on PS2, shouldn't have sold it. 9/10

The DS by no means is bad hardware. Certainly not as big a cost difference for Sony and Nintendo to make the machines. If you are charging £230 (which I really don't think will happen - but even £180 is a rip) for a handheld it has to be bloody awesome and pack tons of features which it really doesn't. I don't understand the what you mean about more value... At the end of the day it's about games and hardware build comes way after that in my criteria. The materials they are both made from are decent.

Dunno, depends on a few factors.

I don't know how but sometimes the PS3 just fixes itself. Like if I can stops working or something if you turn it off and put it back in or play another disc first then it fixes. I've not had many incidents where it has gone faulty though, it's almost as reliable as my Cube, which never once froze.

Yeah I mean what? It has a small screen and can play downloadable games with a bit of bluetooth functionality thrown in. You can get a lot more for £230. But I will re-iterate that it will probably be sold for £180, just because that pre-order says it's dearer doesn't mean it will release at that much.
-
I'll think about getting one when it is £150. Portables really shouldn't be any higher, it's ridiculous when you think about it.

They are both awesome and complete the show. I wonder if her replacement will be a good one, though it seems like Margaret and Nick are kind of similar and a good match to watch the teams.
-
Yeah and I also know that in Fallout there was a city that had been blown up but I don't remember it being a compilation of staircases or a place with few vocal points.
