I said that and he acknowleged that he was a fool. A lot of time lost there and what if you didn't need a piss. Jill would've turned into a murderer (if she isn't the actual potential muderer anyway) just because you could've done the job whilst her hands were still in tact.

Comparisions: Nintendo Motion Controls VS Sony Motion Controls
dwarf replied to The Lillster's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That guy comes across well you just don't know if he actually understands what's going on in the whole picture. He gave a few obvious answers that if I was standing there I could've used 'yes we are dedicated' 'we try and improve existing products' etc. but still, fairly interesting. -
Stop trying to sound high and mighty, I didn't want to look through what could have ended up being 3 or 4 pages when I could type it in the thread check search thing, that's what it's there for. And no I didn't forget I had posted about the game, I thought I posted in the thread that was in the temporary E3 board that is now non-existent.
-
WTF, I typed it in the 'check thread' bar and it didn't come up. Bloody flawed.
-
No-one has bothered to move the other thread(s) for this so I thought I'd just sort of relight the game on the board. I only just watched the full trailer for it and it seriously looks incredible, at the start I didn't really 'get' it but after watching the whole thing it's really quite enchanting. It looks like a platformy type game too Anyway, IGN have done a rewind thing, trying to look into the game a bit more: So yeah, who would buy the game based on this trailer alone? I would, and I haven't even played any games from the developer yet (I don't think).

That nintendo game you just didn't like

Haha, there's this guy in my school who's sort of segregated from the 'normal' people who doesn't really talk much but I once caught him talking (very rare) about videogames and he said how Galaxy was an overrated disappointment but Sunshine was the best 3D Mario. So I had to say that I almost agreed. I said 64>Sunshine>Galaxy, he said Sunshine>64>Galaxy. He said that 64 was just nostalgia and I guess he was partly right but I maintain it was the best. -

Damn I knew I should've rephrased that. -

I only just realised that they are pretty much patenting the bicycle kick action in your living room. -

Well thing is with cameras everyone bangs on about resolution/pixels or whatever but it's only as good as the lens. Anyway, I'm just going to ask, can the Wii M+ be as precise as the dildo? Because they said they had sub-mm control when doing that art and it looked pretty good. LOL you serious? The Wii can do that if you stuck remotes on your leg, but when it isn't facing the scren it couldn't be tracked so how does that work anyway? -

I was going to send that hilarious picture Daft always posts when someone is a bit unfortunate, but then I thought to myself that I don't really want to be a dickhead. You could try PlayAsia, I trusted them with sending me my dualshock 3 over, cheap too. Oh it's out of stock, sorry. Here's link anyway: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-dd-77-d-49-en-15-street+fighter+4-70-37j8.html -
Let's not, massive lag anyone? Well you can if you don't experience it, plus it's probably a phat download and I really don't have much memory to burn on my 40GB.

Dang MGS3 is pissing me off. Too much waiting and crawling with annoying camera angles, not liking it. Plus at the moment I'm just on the floor because I need to heal myself with various items, which for me is just a chore.

On the new maps I've found that playing as a saboteur with spot and mark and long range gun is very fun indeed.
-
Don't worry, I re-read them a few times before Paj's post but still a few 'what?' moments. It's only a game anyway so won't bother looking for holes again.

Listening to a couple of theme tunes from PSN games makes me wish they were turned into proper full releases: Audio Audio They sounded great with surround sound and massive bass. Had me and my mates dancing, gut reaction to Snakeball music really.

Didn't you get it on blu-ray?
-
Hmm there are quite a lot of confusing aspects to that post.
-
Well it looks ridiculous and innuendo ridden just for the sake of it. Traps appearing out of nowhere, button mashing to take down hordes of enemies. It just isn't my thing. And that analogy is true in my view, even if there is a slightly deeper game beneath it all.
-
How come you haven't locked the thread then, you like doing that :p It's true. So average.
-
For movies yeah, but games are more interesting, seriously if you play through HL2 with developer commentary you will understnd, it gives you a great excuse to play through the game again.
-
Not sure if you've played half-life 2 (orange box version) or seen the extra in game developer commentary but it's bloody awesome. This page is good: http://www.significant-bits.com/orange-box-designer-commentary#more-516 Bascically you unlock this by completing the game once, in your second playthrough orange dpeech boxes float around in the game space. When you aim at it and press a button the developers talk a bit about what's happening and they're design choices. Genius.
-
Again there isn't that much of an incentive to do so, most would like it but it's not really going to make more people buy it. I think it's more up to Retro Studios to do making ofs and extra artwork so if they don't want to then that's their choice. I don't think I'd rather see a making of for any other game series than the Primes. If they did something akin to the Half-Life developer entries as part of the in-game world I would buy a Wii straight away.
-
Thing is, those things had to be included on more discs, whereas this is only a trilogy and can fit on one disc (not sure if dual-layer is needed?) but yeah, they should've or could've included some better extras (making of?) or make the case metal or 3D. I think they could release this one like it is because after all they are only asking for £25, but they could make a barrel-load from selling a special edition for £40 with tons of cool things, like those Samus figurines or something with the aforementioned changes to the box etc. That I'm sure would be bought from almost everyone that contributed to this thread surely?

Bought MGS3 off Skunky for £6 delivered, which isn't bad, it came in the post today and he had titled it 'To Mr Dwarf', made me laugh!
