Here you go. Yeah I'm not really a fan of Sims/2, used to mainly watch people play it rather than do stuff myself, it took too long to do anything significant.

Anyone willing to share what (if any) R&B/rap tunes they like that have been devoured by the masses? I know it's old but Day n Night - Kid Cudi is one that is to my liking.

Forgot to mention that the quality of ITV commentary of the England game was astounding 'Andorra will literally park a bus in front of England.' This within the first 10 seconds of kickoff and it got worse too.

Nothing there that I'll get, although downloaded Vidzone. Thing is it's really slow for me when I'm on it, the search thing after you input one letter it starts loading and it took the piss, so it's probably not something I'll use for a while. Why they put those highlighted songs in the pack I don't know.

So there's real time fighting or is the bike only part of battles? Don't see much need for a bike in battle unless you want to run something over (obviously it's a special bike).

Thing is stuff like this has to be advertised, Sony probably spent a lot on this but hardly any member of the public will know about it, even if they have a ps3 they could miss out on the download. Loading screen is taking ages...

FF confuses me. Is it trying to be a movie like MGS with battles in between? Because it looks great but it's not like you can really appreciate the graphics if they are just static parts of a fighting arena. The pictures look cool, the bike looks badass, but is there interaction in the game? I'm under the impression that you won't actually ride the thing.

Yeah but it'll probably only be undertaken by a few developers. And the word was 'conceivable' which isn't really a confirmation, more of a 'well we could do it'. Don't know how he means it's different from the Wii controller.

Wipeout pack releases tomorrow? Great! Haven't got any new content to play right now, and it takes too much effort to recomplete Fallout, but the new W:HD stuff is free... Awesome.

Yeah I'm just playing now and it turns out I am a fan. It's weirdly enchanting as you drive through, I'm glad the music choice was trance because frantic motorstorm material would make it too tense. Other tips - know when to barrel roll (get lift by holding down - not necessary most of time), know where to use boosts best (off ramps - they can massively reduce time of laps by leaping above rest and barrelling from it. I don't use weapons that often because rolling uses energy, so mostly absorb power-ups unless last ditch. Plus the key to Wipeout is knowing where the boost pads are. If you don't then you lose basically.

Well I did say fair enough if you like that type of experience but for me I need something more sustainable. If it's sustainable for you then great. That's funny because it wasn't what you said in the Heavy Rain thread, and it's why you got raped for it. There are also better games for mindless destruction too, not even sandbox style. Heck if I want to piss you off again there isn't actually 'destruction' in this game, more violence, but whatever.

Ah the one mega-tip I have is that it helps before corners to hold down the L2/R2 button for whichever corner you're taking slightly before you reach it. If you hold it in slightly before it gives you a better sense of how far you will turn if you hold it down further, which makes it easier to control than just pressing it at point of turn because judgement is more difficult and usually results in a sudden jolt = lame scraping into walls. It's because initially you press it slightly and nothing happens so you have to force it down quite hard to make it register anything and you usually end up overcooking the turn. I think that's the best way of explaining it.

Hmmm I managed to worm my way to elite victories (yes, I do like to remind you) on all tracks bar most on the last set. Grand Prixs aren't usually that hard compared to single race because if you come 3rd in all races you have a chance at getting first place in leaderboard. But yeah, just go through the tracks, and you can get better at them in zone mode, which is great practice for air-braking. Dunno if this sounds dumb or not but it kind of helps to 'feel' the analogue R2/L2 and not use it as a standard button. Needs to be eased at right pressure, you can sort of get feedback from the track/rumble etc.

The skills are unteachable :awesome: well I think it's a mix of practise and instinct. Doing the campaign pretty much gives you everything you need.

I've not made unfair judgements, they are what I can SEE and what has been SAID. It was arrogance because you just said you'd ignore me, nothing else in that comment (constructive), it's the equivalent of a polite 'fuck you'. Why don't we just both add each other to ignore lists seeing as you're such a stirrir?

Looks pretty damn cool. Still not sure if I'm a 'fan' of Wipeout. It is good though, did take quite a few tries at the 'beat Zico' gold trophy. It's pretty insane. Bridge shots look mint.
