  1. Don't get me started on that game! Overrated as hell and generally boring.
  2. I really like kart games, but all in all I'm not really a racer fan. Gran Turismo 3 I played a lot, I played a couple of rally games on the PC with a wheel, I S-Ranked Excite Truck, but I don't like this sort of style racer. I'm just not a fan of Burnout/NFS/Ridge Racer so probably won't be convinced with this. Basically I like kart games or simulators, not what you get inbetween. Although the Grid demo was OK I thought.
  3. Well you obviously take his reviews with a bit more than a pinch of salt. He ripped into Uncharted and MGS4, some complaints were dumb, some were right, but in the end it's entertainment and can be very funny.
  4. Graphics are good but I wasn't convinced it will be any good.
  5. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09-split-second/49795 Hmmm, looks gimmicky to me but I'll reserve judgement.
  6. ^ Yeah I saw that, but don't you find his 'reviews' are getting less funny every Wednesday that passes?
  7. Ahhh dang. I accept your recovery.
  8. Was just looking on IGN and they rated this game Cross Edge 3.5, and they were right about a certain caption: Try and figure out this battle system. We dare you. Ridiculous!
  9. Its your favourite game yet you sold it without completing it?!
  10. I borrowed it from someone and it is shite. Boring campaign, only bothered with a few missions. I occasionally go online for some team-killing, it is hilarious with a friend, seeing how big and crazy your streaks can get before they turn on you.
  11. I think in most games that don't use proper voices the characters actually have more personality than if there was a voice assigned to them. Rayman shouldn't have a voice, neither should Link, and neither should Gordon Freeman.
  12. You never played the 2D game? It's gold! literally if you get me

    Fallout 3

In the majority of the quests you have to be good either because you are forced to or because being bad just doesn't make sense.
  14. Well if it's a big retailer with over 10,000 sales you can't really go wrong.
  15. Thing is it was the top selling PS1 game apparently. May have been a misinformed source though (Wiki)
  16. Yeah ps1 is the way to go. I had it on PC and it's pretty much the same, bar the controller. I don't want Raving Rabbids, I want my classic Rayman!
  17. Never played any of the games but what was awesome about that? And Fergy I think you can download it from the US store, problems only arise if you buy an game with an online mode IIRC.
  18. So neither of you faced Mr Dark ?? To be fair it was difficult finding them all.
  19. Some cages were well hidden. Great once you had all of the smiley faces on the map though. I thought the evil Rayman chase was scary.

    Killzone 2

Well I didn't see why they changed it. It works perfectly, and hampers aiming slightly, You may say that you have not issues with it but everyone could perform better with constant aims. All games have their issues, but that's not the point, we're talking about the aiming/controls.
  21. Yeah I think I had both versions at some point. GBA suffered at running it. I don't suck! I used to be pro at it when I was 8! There was one boss that pissed me off though, and one platforming level with falling drums. Although I found that easier when I was younger. Platformers can be frustrating because they are full of temptations for you to fuck up.

    Killzone 2

Well aceleration/deceleration same difference. It should be constant. No-one complained about Resistance controls and Insomniac hasn't had to offer different methods.

    Killzone 2

I'm glad they are reducing the armour. As well as the Air Support being more powerful. I don't think the controls will be that much better, it doesn't say that it won't be accelerated... Give it R2 controls!
  24. I know. I played it today and some of the stages are rock hard! It's so simple yet to date no-one has quite replicated it. I think it is better than the 2D mario platformers even. Maybe it'll have to remain just as a good memory, some things are left in the past. *Sobs*
  25. Yes Dyson! Go to the Rayman thread!
