Sorry for derailment, back on topic, I know everyone here is obviously excited about the announcement but you have to remember it is just a video of what they are trying to do with the series, so I'm not raving about it yet.

Ah right, well I did find it from N4G. N4G can be good to see latest news post from various sites etc but if their policy is just to automatically put up news posts from every frickin game site then it's pretty pointless. As you say sites like hipgamer live off N4G by using misleading headlines to get hits. One said 'Sony's plans for PSN' so I clicked and it was one random man's prediction of what they will do and have done and none of it was factual, SPs everywhere and just generally shit-ridden. Man that's dodgy. I'm not convinced that new maps are worth the money but sure get them. I barely see you online anyway let alone on KZ! Get your moneys worth!

Looks decent, at least it's better than the Corruption logo: The 'Corruption' part looks like tacky WordArt. I'd really like to play the first 2 with Wii controls, but need a Wii first. And an HDTV comes above that in priority stakes, as do games.

Excitetruck was decent and would've been easier to control with a normal pad, but that would've just taken away the defining feature that made it fun. It was good enough for me to S rank it all, but it still could've done with quite a few fixes and improvements.

I guess but the enemies are pirates so if they were English or whatever it wouldn't really make sense - if you think about it protagonists in most films or games are distinguishable because they are nice or favourable over the rest, the voices and violent nature just let you know who you need to kill. Drake - I wouldn't want him to die because of his personality, you wouldn't get people making cynical comments when they're confronted by hoardes of armed men. You may like the ending more than the start though.

When I played Kazooie on the 64 back when it had been out a couple yearsof release I must've been about 8, and I did quite a lot but always stuggled finding certain puzzle parts or something. It was a decent game but didn't take to me as much as Mario 64 did. Never played Tooie (sp?)

OK about to play Bioshock to see what the rave is all about. Borrowing it, because couldn't be assed to play it myself.

Yeah but where would the £80 million go? You can't doll it out to random minor league teams and there would be no point in distributing it evenly throughout every football club, although this probably isn't the point. The thing is it's kind of accepted now that any club could become a big name if there was a heavy investor put behind it, few teams can make it up there through just being well managed and being a local unit.

To be honest, £40 million, £80 million, same difference. I really don't think it matters because it's just like a big investment, not exactly bad for the economy and if players are that high in demand then that's the way it is. If there were quotas then huge squabbles would occur and football would get worse.

I've played it through 3 times and haven't come across racism. But yeah it isn't that original but it is in the way that it's an experience that's very much like an interactive story. The game is so compelling to play and you can't help but wonder what happens next so in this respect it's almost perfect which is why I'd give it a high 9.

Just to warn you, if you found the amount of attempts to beat Visari painfully annoying, this is similar to Zico. I'm feeling this, just got the trophy Air Braker for completing 50 zones using air brakes only. Going to go for 75. This is gonna be hard.

Haha that's unfair! Haven't played in ages, I sense rivalry. Do you want dedication? Because I seriously feel that I could get myself to platinum. We should race to get there and become gaming gurus. Yeah... Good luck beating Zico though haha. The one recorded isn't even the fastest I've done, I beat the time set for the track and no trophy came up and I was like 'WTF MAN!?' worse still the time didn't record. I was devastated because it took me ages to beat it, so stayed up an extra hour and beat it again, just not as good a time. Still, got the trophy though. There is a boost at the start but have forgotten the timing of it.

Not a good year for wallets though, clearly. Not that I'll be getting anything. Blu-ray of the first is tempting.

GX was a very forgiving game, there was never really that great a difference in lap times which showed that it was beginner friendly. I found it got boring fast, especially with no weapons. There was one really great track, but too many had very few hard turns. Really took to Wipeout once I got into it.

Yeah I didn't take to the other map though, the effects are good and all but it's just a camp fest and poor visibility just make for an unentertaining match. Will have to try that one more. The other is good though, and yeah the nuke is awesome, it always clears half of the people playing if not more. Boost ability needed, which is fun to use anyway.

I had just enough money in my account, so like a hypocrite I bought the KZ maps. What can I say? The game is just too good to miss out on stuff, hopefully they do some sort of mode/weapon adding to give it a bit more variety.
