    And generally wouldn't work. Dying constantly. When there's so many people out there to kill you then what hope do you have? Impossible to check your six every 5 seconds and there's too many to mow down with a minigun, then there's reloading...

    I've made online threads that faceplanted because the fact is at the moment no 'community' is established. What we have is a few people that post on a forum and share their PSN IDs. You get the occassional night which is good fun and I'm not stopping you from using it am I? Joining in with mics is indeed good but I enjoy playing with you lot even if there is no voice chat. I do remember good times on Worms it must be said. Don't expect me to buy a microphone so soon. And when did my mood come into it when speaking about my faulty system? I'm just saying it. If I hadn't you might've thought 'oh he isn't trying to get a mic because he doesn't think they're necessary'. No, it's because I have this other priority. I haven't re-iterated me being pissed off with the breakage since the Watchdog thing, and in that instance it was topical.

    Mag is a bag of shit. At first I stated this, then I played it more and gradually enjoyed it more. Now I just think it's repetitive and boring. Spawn and other glitch issues aside, this is still pretty poor. When I played for the first time I didn't mind that it was slightly generic but now I find that the monotony is the game-killer. Nonchelantly picking people off seems pointless. You feel as meaningful as a spec of shit on a bit of toilet paper. I could be a squad leader but then I don't want some northerner telling me how to do my job just because it's my first attempt and I don't have a clue what to do. For all I know there aren't 256 players on the map. You can't go anywhere you want so it's irrelevant.

    Not every post I make about it is 'moaning' as you put it. I just slip it into my posts to remind people other than you or whoever why sometimes I say I can't do something. Do you think I don't understand the principle of a mic? I had one for christs sake and yes it is good to have, but when there's such a small amount of people here that play it's a lot to demand that we should all use mics. I would if I could. Simples.

    'No mics required'. You have quite a different view from Cookyman. He doesn't like this statement seeing as he in in the rosey situation where he has everything that he needs and wants and expects us to conform. Doesn't work like that though. And I can see this thread dying if I'm being honest, though I wish it to succeed. I'll try to stop being negative for now.

    Busy with school atm and have no other form of income. Will try to find a job soon though.

    You can't get a community without communication. At the moment I don't have a working mic, and if it did work, it's still pretty poor quality. Atm I haven't got a working system so it'll take a while for me to buy an official one.

    Whilst good it isn't that effective Mat. Cookyman found an 80GB phat PS3 new for £160 on some online retailer, but forgot where.

    The gameplay is very good, but once you settle into a routine it doesn't really change much. The cool thing about the game is that it is almost as random as a real football match, and it's all about playing against your mates and screaming after an insane goal.

    His mission documentary episode on screenwipe is one of my particular highlights. Connie Huck was brilliant and the whole ending segment was just outright genius. I can't help but post about the guy. It's going to end up with me sounding queer, or just pretentious because I abuse the respect-giving.

    You have a lot to learn. His articles and Screenwipe are astoundingly funny. But maybe you have experienced both of the previous so in that case maybe you are in fact not human.

    I just can't play 2D/3rd person fighting games. There's something that just stops me from 'getting' them. I can't concentrate on all the enemies and remember what combos to use etc. I'll buy Tekken just because I've always enjoyed the style and it was the first fighting series I played.

    Midnight Express: 9/10 Late showing on C4. Very hard-hitting movie, brilliant lead actor and generally amazing. These types of films are right up my street, really press home a message.

    If Yakuza 3 comes out this year in Europe I may have to get that. Same with 3D Dot Game Heroes, though it'll have to be bought by Atlus very quickly in order for it to happen.

    I read the Tekken 6 blog written by the creator (forget his name) but he said that they'd developed a fightstick for this particular game and have gone through various tests by 1337 fighter-gamers to make sure it's worthy of buying. I won't get it, but just putting it out there.

    I quite enjoyed the Lost Planet 2 demo. Wasn't what I was expecting at all. The fluidity and awesomeness of that boss was amazing. Was pretty annoying trying to take it down though, only managed to get into it's internal organs once. And died. My bad, I keep thinking Heavy Rain is out this year.

    Why the large section of that guy messing about though? That bloke basically got shafted when Derren said he was totally wrong, though he was true in saying that. I probably did miss the point, but I'm not sure there really is a 'point' to any of these Events.

    Nah if I was in your situation I'd definitely get the Goty addition. Why not Uncharted 2?! Or did you just forget to mention it?

    I lost respect for Derren during that episode. The events thing is turning out to be a load of bull. The whole eyes thing was dumb, I thought that was just the obvious thing to draw. I didn't bother drawing after 1 picture because I just felt stupid doing it. There was nothing forcing it's way into my mind when I looked at the eyes (although strangely I did draw a train, but do believe that was totally random and unconnected) and thought it would be too pathetic to just be a bunch of circles. Then there was that vague old cockhead that pissed around and the stupid lightbulb trick. I was trying to defend this man during the lottery thing but now I just think he is losing credibility. Nothing in that show was Psychic, even if he himself was skeptical..

    Man I wish I could play through Fallout 3 for the first time again. Cherishable, you're in for a treat. In a way the add-on pack that detracts from the ending takes away the special feeling, I haven't got any off the additional stuff but it just sounds that way.

    Can't wait, tis a shame it's only a one-off though. I'd prefer if he sticked to BBC4 only in a way and just stayed away from celebrity culture altogether. I guess it's too late for that now, especially with Dara etc in this feature.
