I think the new update makes the friend list even shitter. The colour option is good but only having the profile box appear for the ID you're highlighting just looks wrong somehow. Probably because it makes the rest of the friends list seem washed out and distant. And I can't update my profile as an error occurs, so I am unable to change the colour of it. I actually think the whole updating process is very unprofessional. The updates are infrequent, don't add much, yet the thing needs a serious revamp and allow you to customise the XMB further. Like having a whole TV section with just a weblink for iPlayer. Just looks and is unfinished. Seperate the friend boxes slightly and make them smaller? Plus your ID should be distinguished from your friends list. Just minor things that add up to be irritating.

Well I have hosted many games in co-op because that's the only real way to remove lag for myself but i will retain my earlier view. I just don't think it's that special.

Forgot to mention that I played the GoWIII demo last week on a mate's ps3 and wasn't that impressed with the actual graphics. I enjoyed the gore a lot, and the set piece stuff is fun, but I wasn't rating the combat as much. However the game's appeal will be the overall epicality (made up word) and sequence of fights so it's still fairly high on the list.

Yeah. I'd probably value Gametrailers/IGNs picks tbh. IGN'll have an awards thing after Christmas like normal I guess (or is it before?) so this VGA thing can smd.

I disagree. The campaign was pretty tame and online modes are generally neglected when you people vote for GOTY. Obviously Cod is a different beast because everyone knows that is mainly for online, and having a set-piece style single player will keep it memorable, probably deservedly so, but KZ does deserve some sort of mention.

Yeah it's pretty badass having that. I'm level 40 and would have sold the game a few days ago had i not wanted to get the platinum. Just upgrading Bloodwing to give me health. Cex are taking this in for a trade of £29 in cash, according to their website. That's pretty impressive.

I think some have forgotten that Killzone 2 came out this year. I don't think this will help when it comes to awards because there is no time like the present, people will only be talking about fairly recent releases. KZ2 was astoundingly good online though.

Actually to be fair there are quite a lot of people on my FB friends list that don't deserve respect, namely X-factor fans, that probably should be subjected to constant trophy status updates. The sods.

Just mopped up the alternative character trophies, 'all' I need to do now is get to level 50 for the platinum. Overall I'd give the game a 7.5/10 Ok I didn't properly experience co-op but I don't believe it's all what it's cracked up to be - i.e not significantly better to get more than a 0.2 higher in a review. I think the whole presentation side let it down, there were only 2 or 3 cutscenes, the NPCs didn't really interact and the narrative as a whole was pretty tame. Still, it had enjoyable shooting mechanics, and after just playing as the other classes, their powers seemed considerably funner.

The GT review made me want this slightly, they gave it an 8.7, but I could see that it looked like a solid and fun FPS. Shame it's only on PC/360.

I have too much respect for my friends, for myself even, to post trophy and game updates on my FB. I won't be bothering. I'd rather they just gave more freedom in how we manage our friends list and let us edit our profile stuff a bit more, incl. ability to choose which trophies you display on the ID etc.

Yeah. Might be a problem if you want to do a trade in for a new copy of AC2. You'll get more money if you do it for Cex vouchers and they'll be redundant until they have the game in stock next week. You could just accept the cash amount and go to game but then that's probably too much hassle. Btw I'm now contemplating buying AC2. It's the imminent pre-release anticipation disease that I caught off you.

I reckon the Borderlands DLC will be a pile of shit, so I'm not bothering. Maybe if they did something drastic with the environment and added some insane eridian weapons then yeah, but it just seems a bit half-assed with what's been displayed. I'm not going to bother to go through the campaign again, it's not worth it because there aren't exactly memorable missions, rather just hide behind a level 50 and pummel the xp earnings. And @ Shorty, with the red weapon boxes I found them to be very disappointing from level 28 onwards. Nothing cool came out of them and they all had weapons for levels 15 and below that were worth nothing. Pissed me off, I stuck with a level 19 sniper up until level 34 because the accuracy of it hadn't been bested and it still did a nice amount of damage. Was a Rolling Sniper I think, now I have this Electric one that only has a 3 bullet clip but its majorly rewarding to use. (apologies for poorly constructed post)

Yeah it tasted like someone got the fizzy cola bottles but removed half of the sugar and then squeezed it inta a can. I thought it was pretty rank. 2 friends said it tasted like Rola Cola, cheap brand stuff, but I can't remember having it.

No it's where he has to get to treasure chests that are being 'protected' by guards. He manages to get to the chests by making them run after a bunch of random hooligans as well as just jumping behind them and taking the goods without them batting an eyelid. The other was the smokebomb technique which admittedly looks cool.

I saw one of the side missions that they showed as an exclusive at Gametrailers. Looked pretty poor if I'm being honest, then again it was ruined by developer narration that spoiled what was going to happen seconds before he did it. AI made an abysmal showing.

GAME are shocking compared to Cex, I'd advise against you doing a trade-in with them just because you could do much better. Not sure. Have you got any chums that have a PS3 but not the game? I guess if you're at uni that's a no. Bah, do what you want.

I sold mine to a friend. Otherwise, Cex is a good bet for trade ins. Or eBay it. Btw I want that BL co-op trophy!
